The owner of the Homestay is really nice and a good cooker, Talk with her was a great experience.. her english is quite good comparing to the average in Vietnam. The place is really peaceful and relaxing.

The bed was too hard and Not so comfortable

Very friendly and Ouan was extremely helpful and pleasant. Together with her mother they made delicious meals. no need to go anywhere else. we also enjoyed a boat trip which was very good value. Ngoc Homestay had a lovely feel to it and we would recommend, especially for backpackers wanting to chill and expire the Mekong.

the host Oanh is really nice and helpful and even picked us up from the ferry. I would really recommend to try her dinner, it was delicious ! We felt very welcomed and at home

It is definitely one of the loveliest places I have stayed at in my life. It is a real homestay where you stay with the family in their house. The owner Oanh is a truly kind and sweet person, and together with her sweet mom they make you feel very welcome. The dinner Oanh cooked for us was outstanding, with the fish being very fresh and delicious. They also offer bicycles for free to stroll on the beautiful rural An Binh island. Highly recommend. Everything was perfect! Oanh is so nice, kind and a very good cook! We had nice talk and she also help us to take the bus back to Ho Chi Minh. The place is so quiet and peaceful, people are very nice there :)

Oanh was a very nice host. She was very caring and made sure we had everything we wanted. Her dinner was really good, she lent us free bicycles and even drove us to the ferry. The room was nice, had a mosquito net and the Wifi was very fast.

There were not many places around, where you could buy food and drink. The ferry is a good 10 minutes walk away. And you should know, that all rooms only have shared bathroom. We didn’t mind it, but it’s good to know.

The host was really nice and the vibe was very relaxed. Our host was flexible in terms of departure and pick up and also made us a great dinner. Very close to the ferry and also secluded views of the delta.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was a bit tricky as it’s really someone’s home and I’m not sure how comfortable it would have been if there had been other guests but all in all a nice experience!

Great peaceful location, authentic homestay. Oanh was extremely friendly and hospitable, and cooked us incredible food. We had access to bikes and a motorcycle, and she helped us book a boat tour and bus transfers, and also gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat at.

we had a very great time at Ngoc Sang Homestay with Oanh. You can use bikes for free and she can organize a tour in Mekong delta by boat. Dinner we had there was delicious every evening. the family is very welcoming and hospitable. Thanks for the great time we spent at your place! :)

Staying at Ngoc Sang means escaping from the buzz of all Vietnam to enter in a paradisiac rural atmosphere. The house is just by the water, in a dream location that makes you willing to stay for ages! The adorable owners of the house are super cute, mindful, and friendly - and the cook delicious traditional meals! It is the perfect place to explore the Mekong area (with free bikes and a great boat tour) in a really authentic way.

I liked every part of it. Just a note, two of the four rooms are more exposed to the water, which means more humidity and noise from the outside (but the sound of the water and the birds is pleasant). But they are equipped with a well-functioning fan and anti-mosquito curtain. It is definitely a unique experience!

Oanh is a very careful and cheerful host. The location is very good, close to the ferry (10 to 15mns walking) and to the An Binh local market. The area is very peaceful.

It has been an amazing experience at Oanh’s place. Truly a home-stay!!! We felt more than welcomed. Oanh is a careful and extremely kind host, a women full of energy and sympathy. She will provide you with the best Vietnamese food you’ll ever taste and make you feel at home with simplicity and elegance. Take time to have a chat, feel free to ask questions: at Ngoc Sang you will learn more about Vietnamese people then in any metropole ore museum. If you want to experience how Vietnamese people from the area of the Mekong-delta spend their lives, stay at Ngoc Sang! Unfortunately we were a little bit in a hurry, we could only stay for 48 hours. I would definitely recommend much more! You will be provided with bikes to explore An Binh’s island nature and its characteristic little paths trough the bushes and trees. Moreover you will have all what is necessary to feel comfortable, including an excellent wifi connection and air conditioning. Considered that you are in the middle of the countryside… there is simply everything you need, nothing is missing:) For us, Ngoc Sang itself has been THE attraction of Vinh Long. The market is for sure an interesting place to go, and the boat trip we unfortunately missed must be fantastic. I stayed at Oanh‘s place for two nights and everything was great. While the house is only 5 min away from the ferry station, it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood; right by a little canal with some hammocks overlooking it. The house is extremely clean and the facilities were good. Oanh is a great cooker and I ended up having dinner there both nights, get ready for a 3/4-dish meal! She was also very helpful with every aspect of the trip from pick-up/drop-off to organizing boat trips. Her mum and daughter are so sweet. I also really appreciated talking to her after breakfast/ dinner and knowing more about Vietnam as well as her personal story. Would come back for sure!

The location is amazing. Take the bike and go exploring. Its unbelievable how beautiful and wild/chaotic/organized the area is. All family members are super nice and have a good heard. And the food is amazing. I arrived very late and they saw how hungry i was so they made me quick a soup.

I booked this homestay for 3 nights in April 2020. But I ended up staying here for 12 nights. Why? This homestay is an authentic home of a vietnamese family, the host and her family are lovely. There are 4 small rooms in her house. 2 with a fan and 2 with AC. I had one with AC. The room was clean, with a double bed and mosquito net. The shared bathroom and the house in general was clean every day. So no complaints here. I eat dinner at the homestay every day. I love her food with fresh fish and fresh vegetables. And it's not that much expensive compare to the amount and quality of food you get. If you are looking for a place to come down, experience local life with good fresh food and fruits and lovely local vietnamese people, you should come here. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time here. Thank you very much.
