Great Location even if it's not in the main road”

It's our 1st time in Cebu so we really need a great place to stay and were glad that we choose Holiday Spa Hotel. It's not difficult to find the hotel since most of the cab drivers are familiar in the hotel's location. They also have their own taxi named Holiday Taxi. If you need to go to the main road it's 1 to 2 minute walk from the hotel or you can ask the reception to call for a cab to pick you up. Hotel only got 2 floors,we stayed in the 2nd flr with windows where you can see the big pool. Room service is 24 hours but if you need to order food beyond 10pm it's not possible since the coffee shop inside the hotel is closed by that time but the reception will give you different brochures of fast food restaurants that you can call and deliver the food in your hotel room. Banilad name of the place where the hotel is located is near in Cebu Business Park (Ayala Center Cebu), Asiatown I.T Park (call centers & BPO), Waterfront hotel and Casino and SM Cebu City.From the hotel, it's also 1 jeepney or taxi ride to Colon (it's like recto or divisoria in Manila) where Magellan's Cross and Basilica de Sto. Nino is located. Basically, the location of the hotel is very accessible in any popular destination in Cebu.

Did you ever end up at a hotel where you were not greeted, not taken care of, not happy with???? Then rest assured there is no need to worry, just book a few nights at the Holiday Spa Hotel, be pampered in the day spa, have a massage, swim in the luxury lap pool, jog on the upstairs circuit, go to the comprehensive gym..... be welcomed by the best staff in Cebu.... I was , this hotel not only boasts all the above but also cleanliness, I have never stayed in a hotel that was so clean... and JUST CHECK OUT THE PRICE for a nights stay using Agoda... the best prices in town..... I thought this hotel was going to be a budget price with Budget facilities, but I was wrong about one thing, the facilities are amazing... for this price you will find no better in Cebu... Love it, I will never stay anywhere else.

Holiday Spa Hotel is in a great location. Taxicabs were always available and if not, the bellman would always call one for you. Ayala Mall and Waterfront Hotel were about 50pesos away while SM mall was about 75pesos away. I have no complaints about the staff. They were accommodating and friendly. I just wish they had more front desk space. The picture on the hotel website shows a front desk that the hotel shares with the spa and the gym. At the lobby area, there's a coffee shop, a salon, a boutique, a gym (popular in cebu--had lots of clients) and the spa. The swimming pool between the hotel's 2 buildings is also free for use by hotel guests. Because warm showers are very important to me, I will look for another option before I consider staying at Holiday Spa Hotel again. It's a shame though because it's a great place otherwise.

Excellent Hotel, Amazing Spa, Helpful Reception!”

I had a 2 night stay at this relatively new hotel and I had a wonderful time, there is a super-size Gym, a big Swimming Pool and the best feature is the incredible Massage. I had the Oil/Shiatsu massage, a mixture of Swedish, Shiatsu, the masseuse was an expert. I recommend it without any doubt. Besides, you are in short distance from two traditional temples, one of them the Taoist Temple of Cebu, is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. The neighborhood looks nice and quiet. The hotel had it's own taxi service, also very helpful. The girls at the reception were always serving with a smile. The rooms are not expensive, it's a very good choice for budget traveling... I wish I new all these before to arrange to stay more days there! Tip: if you take the taxi from the Airport make sure you specify that it's the Holiday Spa Hotel, because it's new and the drivers usually are heading for the Holiday Plaza (which is more known)

Clean Hotel”

I would recommend Holiday Spa Hotel when you're on a short term stay in Cebu City. The hotel is clean and tidy. Staffs were very accomodating and would readily respond to your request. Also, the price is very affordable. And what I like most is that it is very accessible to Ayala Mall. The experience was awesome. Definitely I will come back for my next holiday.

This hotel is good! From its services to its staff, I was generally satisfied. I can somehow identify some downsides, one is reaching its location from the airport, especially if you arrive at a later time of the day. The traffic is just so overwhelming that it will make your butt heat off while waiting inside the taxi. So I advice fellow travellers to arrive in Cebu before 9am to avoid traffic because there is traffic everywhere (Well, yeah, the entire Philippines, I guess.)! Secondly, the pool is open at a limited time. It is open from 6am to 9pm only. I guess they implemented this rule because there are rooms beside the pool. I only identified it as a downside because we were travelling with children who wants to swim all the time. But I guess this wouldn't matter if you are not the type who stays at the water all the time. Finally, the wi-fi services. We stayed at 2 premiere rooms and got 24 hour complimentary wi-fi use per person, per gadget. We are the kind of persons who shares everything in our social media that's why we use internet all the time. Once you have consumed this all up, you will be charged 100 pesos for every 24 hour use. But then again, if you are the type of traveller who doesn't rely much on the world wide web, this wouldn't matter. Overall, I have enjoyed my 3 day stay here with my family. It is very much close to everything as it is in the very heart of Cebu City. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends who wishes to visit Cebu. But if you are looking for a place very near the beach, this is not it.

Excellent Hotel with the best facilities in Cebu”

I am a regular visitor to the Holiday Spa Hotel, I am always greeted with genuine warmth from the very welcoming staff, both at the door and at reception. Anne leads the team with her valued experience and always does her very best for me. The hotel boasts an extensive program for example sporting activities such as swimming, track running, gym which also includes rock climbing, and after a day of rigour you can enjoy the Spa of which the hotel is famed and named after. This hotel ticks all the boxes for me..... it is really the best in town and also very close to the largest golf course in Cebu.

we had a great time in cebu. the holiday spa hotel has a great location, it is near of some of the sightseeing attractions of the city and also of the mall so you could really maximize your vacation itenerary. the staff of the hotel were great, very accomodating and very heelpful. we would definitely stay at this hotel again when we go back to cebu.

Whenever I am in Cebu I stay at the Holiday Spa Hotel. I have stayed there several times over the last 5 years. It is in a good location - close to Ayala, rooms are clean, beds are huge and comfortable, and it has a gym (cost 150p to use). The only downside is that since the nightclub opened next door - on the nights that it operates, noise can be heard through the walls of the room adjacent to the nightclub. However, if you are a moderate-heavy sleeper, you wont really notice it. The deluxe rooms do not have a refrigerator. There is a cozy patio bar that has live music(solo guitarist/singer). The breakfasts are a little spartan but enough to get you going. For me, cleanliness of the room is important and the HSH rooms are always clean.

I could write for the rest of my life about this hotel and still not convey how wonderful it was. I'm on a trip of The Far East and have so far stayed in 7 hotels. This was the best by a mile. They let me check in 10.00am. So grateful after night flights from Bangkok via Manila. Room was huge. Multi Channel TV, Wifi, Safe - everything I needed. Location was perfect. Easy walk/taxi to a few shopping centres with great restaurants and night life. Swimming pool fantastic although sadly didn't get to use it much as weather was poor. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. I will return. Don't read any unfavourable reviews. If you're thinking of coming to Cebu City book this hotel now. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful location and tons to do in the hotel”

We stayed here in order to see Cebu and experience the many things the city offered. It's a quick walk to the I.T. Park or a short drive to the Ayala Mall. Both are excellent places to eat and do some shopping. Other historical sites are within a short cab ride away. While there are some poorer neighborhoods around, the people are friendly and more than willing to help you navigate your way around. Plus, Holiday Spa offered a summer special with discounted savings on massages that allowed us to get a 1-hour, full body massage for only $320 pesos each. That's under $10 USD. Needless to say, we ended up getting a massage every day that we were there!

I really enjoyed my stay in Holiday Spa Hotel. So much so I extended my stay by two nights! The hotel is very reasonably priced, especially considering it's in the nice neighbourhood of Banilad (close to Ayala, Crossroads, golf club, etc.). The hotel has loads of facilities too - swimming pool, spa, gym, running track, shop, salon, cafe, wifi. The room was also very clean, big, with a huge king sized bed and a flat screen tv with cable channels. Really - i couldn't really have asked for much more - maybe a mini-bar in the room... but really, for the price this is an excellent hotel. They even run their own fleet of meter-taxis, so there was always a taxi available when ever I stepped out of the hotel!

If you have some appoinment to US condular cebu the holiday spa hotel in near to the place, just a few minutes from the US consular by taxi Place was nice and staff render good service to the customers One thing that needs improvement is that the hotel room should be sound proof from the outside noice for theres a nightparty all the time nearby.

Great value hotel ”

I wanted a basic hotel in the city for 5 days with a good gym located near to freinds who live in cebu and the shopping areas but with a limited budget. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained. Staff were very freindly and helpful and although I arrived a day late and stayed an extra day did not incur any penalies. The gym was well equiped which was, hi on my list with some good classes. Its in a great location as it's not to far from anywehere you may wish to visit in Cebu. The highlight of my stay was the great and cheap massages and spa's well needed after few heavy gym sessions and trecking around cebu. Definately recomend as a practical city spot and great value for money. If I was going to spend a lot of time in a hotel as a holiday I may choose somewhere more upmarket but would definately have to pay more. Thanks Holiday Spa

Looking for a taxi during rush hour is a perennial problem in Cebu however in Holiday Spa who also owns Holiday Taxi, guest are assured of 24/7 taxi services. We were picked up in the airport by George,a courteous hotel driver who gives tour tips including places to see and where to find the popular delicacies. Front desk staffs were very helpful and accommodating too.

Great Place to Stay”

I have been staying at the Holiday Spa Hotel each time I visit Cebu for almost 10 years now. The rooms are big, clean and quiet. They have recently installed inverter aircon units which are very cold and silent. I had previously stayed at other hotels in Cebu over the years, but now stay at the Holiday Spa Hotel because it is value for money and close to Ayala Mall.

Great location, decent rooms and service”

i booked this hotel for my wife, who was in cebu for business. the location was great if you have business to do at the it park - holiday is probably the nearest decent hotel there (the reviews for the other hotels near it park weren't encouraging). i got the poolside room, which was pretty big and clean. service was unremarkable, but good. the biggest plus for this hotel is the price. for the php per night we paid, it's a steal!

This hotel was very clean, cheap. Our family had a good time in Holiday Spa hotel. Premier Room was a little big, and Bathroom was clean and big also. From airport to there, it took about 30minutes. People was very kind. There was swimming pool and spa. If you go to Cebu, I can recommand this hotel.

Nicely maintained older hotel. As noted above, excellent value for money. I made use of the spa and the grooming facilities as did my wife (haircut and nails for US$6).Close to some great destinations if you're visiting Cebu; Tinderbox, Ayala, Country Mall, Cebu Country Club, Crossroads, an Cebu IT Park area. Highly recommended.
