no expense spared and felt very welcomed ”
the drive into the hilton felt like in a james bond movie as we swept down the mountain into this cavernous dark hole which turned out to be the entrance expensively subdued from the very first we felt comfortable and welcomed and absolutely delighted with our room with guaranteed lake views and our own gas fire certainly without the guaranteed views it would not be quite the same but the size of room and furnishings were very luxurious and comfortable. good lighting is always important and the hilton did not disappoint at all...excellent coffee in bakery. excellent food in grill and great atmosphere in stack pub..and the walk along kelvin heights was one of the best we have ever been on...so glad we chose the hilton to finish off a wonderful stay in queenstown

Fantastic New Zealand getaway”
The Hilton is located on the edge of Lake Wakatipu. It is a five star hotel that is very well constructed. The rooms are a good size, we had the King room complete with marble bathroom, bath great shower and twin sinks. The bed was simply divine and as a well traveled person I believe it is the most comfortable hotel bed and pillows I have ever slept in. The hotel gym is small but adequate, some cardio gear and free weights. The pool was closed for repairs which was a real shame but the hotel gave us vouchers to the local pool complex. There is a great walking or biking track that goes all the way to the Kelvin Heights golf club from the hotel. On a nice day the view is stunning as you follow the lake. Breakfast was great with everything you could want. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from Queenstown or there are several cheap options into town and return. It is a little expensive but hey you are worth it and you won't be disappointed.

Hidden gem in Queenstown”
Hilton Queenstown is located in kelvin heights, rather a new developed area in queenstown, but it is very close to the city (15 min drive), the hotel provides free shuttle and there's 10 bucks water taxi that can take you to the city centre. Love the rooms and surrounding. We got the 2 bedroom apt overlooking the lake it was very beautiful. Overall, a very nice hotel, very recommended for hotels in queenstown, worth the money spent.

Most lovely ”
The perfect deluxe suite with comfy beds, large bathroom with tub, good rain shower & great housekeeping. Facing scenic lake Wakatipu & near water taxi 10 mins to Queenstown and free WiFi for Hilton honors members Free parking is highly utilized around double tree Hilton (right beside) & it can be difficult to get a parking lot. Fret not, we parked along Kelvin Heights Road, a short walk up the slope & it was safe.

Excellent stay- great price thanks to Agoda!”
Would higly recommend the Hilton Queenstown Resport and Spa for a short or long stay. We had a corner room which had a little step down living space, views of the lake and gardens, large bathroom with full bath and shower separate. We were lucky to get a great deal through Agoda on the room so I am rating the hotel on that fact but would imagine it to be quite a lot more in the peak season. The Grill was a lovely restaurant with great views over the lake and excellent food and service, the Pub had ok food for the price (large) and there was also a noodle bar on site but I thihnk it was closed as shoulder season. The indoor pool was lovely and the gym was well equipped. Will definitely stay there again.

Great stay!”
Hilton Queenstown Resort and Spa is great hotel with beautifully designed rooms and great facilities but their true asset are staff working in there. They were absolutely amazing and very attentive. Such big difference in comparison with other hotels. They were very caring, friendly and generally happy to be at work. Superb!

Fantastic hotel in a lovely location”
My partner and I stayed in the Queenstown Hilton on a trip to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is not in Queenstown itself but is only a short trip by water taxi, which is the best way to get to town. The hotel is in sunshine all day ( unlike other parts of town where the mountains block it out in the evening). The rooms were fabulous, modern and clean as you would expect, the food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive throughout the hotel. There is a beautiful spa to relax and enjoy and a great track along the lake edge which is really nice to walk or cycle in the evening. A great hotel in a beautiful and quiet corner of the lake, would definitely stay here again!

Perfect sanctuary away from the hustle ”
Queenstown is pretty small, but when it's high season - it's so large you can't find your own space to think! This is where the Hilton comes into its own; offering a sanctuary on a lesser known part of Queenstown with lake access, walking trails, and the benefit more sunshine packed days so you won't feel the cold as much. The Hilton has paid, on site parking (much cheaper than town at least!), An indoor pool, small gym (it will give you the very basics, but there is a Snap fitness just nearby), waterfront restaurant and beautifully dedicated staff. The rooms are clean, large and offer superior comfort beds (they always feel like you're sleeping on a pillow), a bathtub (perfect for a soak after mountain biking, hiking or skiiing), lounge area and all the mod cons. Would be good if the TV's had Netflix upgrades, but a great opportunity to dive into a good book. Also, the coffee at the cafe is great - and I'm a 'coffee snob' from Melbourne! Great stay, great rates - will stay again.

Awesome, quiet hotel”
We stayed for one night at the Hilton Queenstown. The room was perfect with views out over the lake. Beds were comfy, and the bathroom was amazing. There was a huge bath and a strong separate shower. There is a lukewarm indoor pool, and a hot spa to relax in. Also there is a fireplace in your room, looks like real wood but its gas, and its awesome and hot, simple to use too. Breakfast was a huge spread, there was just about everything you could want. Also the Korean chef called Bo was tops. I felt like oatmeal, so he cooked me some up straight away. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the guy at the main door was very kind, his name was Shivam I think. The parking was a bit steep at $40 though. Luckily there are some parks outside on the street for free. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing hotel with everything ”
The Hilton was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The staff couldnt help you enough if they tried, always going above and beyond. The rooms are huge and the Beds and pillows are so comfortable. The bathroom is huge too with a proper bath and seprate shower and they have stocked it with Peter Thomas Roth Products my fave. There is a pool spa gym and day spa what more could you need. The only down side was the location but there was a bus and water taxi facility I would recomend you hire a car though. I stayed at a few hotels in Queenstown and this one was the best.

Very Impressive!”
We were very impressed witt the Hilton Queenstown. The complex was very impressive as it was only about 12 months old and had great facilities including internal heated pool and spa. The room was large and separated into two sections Bedroom / sitting area. The bathroom was huge with semi free standing bath and soaker rain-head shower. The only downside is the location which is about 10 minutes from Queenstown although they do have a water taxi service. Self parking was free which was a welcome surprise. Breakfast was superb and there are a few eating options within the complex. It is close to the Remarkables ski field which was great for us. All in all we were very happy.

Fantastic stay ”
Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our time here in Hilton Queentswon. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and it was so sweet that the manager prepared a wine for us! The breakfast was fantastic; the spread was limited but the quality was top notch. The room was spacious, just that the lighting was not adjustable, hence it was quite dim to our preference. Also, the discounted water taxi is very convenient to us as it eases our transportation means. Overall, the quality of Queenstown Hilton matches the quality of other Hilton branches in other countries. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other Hilton loyal members and other visitors who are interested in a high end stay.

Treat for dads 70th Birthday”
My parents visited Queenstown for the very first time to celebrate my dads 70th birthday. After a week of exploring and activities I thought of Hilton as a treat on their last day there. Hilton staff made their stay a memorable one as they were welcomed with wine, chocolate and a Spa voucher! Thank you Hilton Staff for leaving an imprint on my parents very first time in Queenstown!

good hotel”
Hilton is a good hotel, also apartment. The room we booked is villa for 4 people, our lake side view room faced lake wakatipu. It makes us feel relaxed and comfortable. Besides, the size of room is big with open kitchen. It is good for family and friends to gather together easily. We do feel extremely satisfied with staying in this excellent resort. We must tell our friends and family to stay here if they come to queenstown. last but not lease, the swimming pool and sauna are good and comfortable for us.

Great views, great food, great beds”
My adult daughter and I totally enjoyed our stay at Queenstown Hilton, We had been selected as the guests of the day and received an upgrade and free wine as well as free drinks at the bar. Besides being treated so well, we enjoyed the comfort and style of the room. The lounge seating in our room was very comfortable as were our beds. Roomy, stylish bathroom. Best accommodation of our entire South Island trip. I will recommend the Hilton Queenstown to friends and family

Amazing stay”
The Hilton in Queenstown just made our trip so special. When we checked in we were offered a $100 credit voucher to use at the restaurant and the food was amazing! We enjoyed going for walks around the hotel to a french bakery close by to get our morning coffees and croissants and then heading back to the hotel at the end of the day to relax with a book next to the fireplace in our room. Will definitely stay here whenever I come to Queenstown.

Stunning setout on the Lake”
it is absolutely one of the most stunning hotels in queenstown. right on the lake with beautiful views. the breakfast is amazing, you can order freshly made coffee, tea and juice and any diy cooked breakfast included in the breakfast. the room has nice hot bath tub and fireplace, very cozy. water taxi is so cool costs return. the only disappointing thing is the receptionist during the day is not very helpful. the check-in is 3 o'clock, so if you arrive early, you will have to find somewhere to kill the time although there are a few bars and cafe. it is definitely the best spot in queenstown, right on the lake. overall, we love the stay at hilton

Great spot”
Be aware of $350 they hit you with when checking in, ( covers your tab during stay) Balance refunded after check out. Parking $15 a day Our room was noisey every morning due to constant buses arriving every day, room-525 Water taxi was great to the town if you wanted to drink and not drive, save on parking which is expensive. ($6.50 for 2hrs) Stacks Pub is great place to eat out, half price compared to hotel prices. Staff were great , always helpful, always cheerful. First time at the Hilton spa resort next time will go to Hilton double tree it has served apartments , kitchen etc

Beautiful hotel, great service, lovely rooms.”
excellent stay. the design of the hotel complex is very attractive. the complex has a deli/bakery, pub, and excellent restaurant with lovely outdoor seating available. the guest rooms are well designed, attractive, comfortable and welcoming. our room had a fireplace and lovely view of the lake. the hotel is located across the bay from queenstown and has a dock and water-taxi service at a small fee. i would stay here again and would recommend it highly. i wish all hilton hotels were as nice as this one.

Excellent”
The stay was generally nice. Staff are generally very helpful, from bell boys to technicians, from tourisk desk officer to front desk. Just 2 points that are worth noting / improving: (1) we were allocated a room on 8/F, apparently in order to go to 8/F, we need to go through 2 lifts, one that leads from the reception lobby to 7/F, and change to another life on 8/F. That was quite inconvenient, especially when we left something or when we had luggage. (2) Parking - there are no free parking spaces. There is either overnight self-parking at a carpark that is around 1-2 min walk from Hilton Resort & Spa (but within the Hilton hotels area) for NZD16 per night or valet parking at NZD40 per night. We chose self-parking. We could enter the car park on the first night, but the car park was full on our 2nd night. Then we had to go back to the hotel reception lobby to ask for next steps, which they offered complimentary valet parking. This whole parking arrangement was a bit inconvenient.
