Great location”

A hiccup on arrival, there was no registration of the Agoda booking a phone call soon fixed that. The hotel is old but well maintained and wonderful character. The meals were great, staff friendly and caring. Perfect location for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and lots of opportunity to network with other guests also visiting the show. Only one problem and that is no room service after 10pm and the restaurants are closed also. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing around the place”

If you're looking to explore the best of Fort Lauderdale, do not stay at the Marina. It is inconveniently placed out of any of the nightlife of the city. Situated closely to the Port Everglades if you're looking for a quick taxi there for a cruise, there's really nothing close by except a Walgreens and a Starbucks - waiting for the lights alone takes up half the time. A decent gym and pool - however, this place is very family oriented and has screaming kids at the pool hourly. Room service was very poor - for $55USD, we were given food in plastic containers with cutlery that couldn't cut butter. They got our order wrong but by the time it was delivered, we were so hungry, sending it back to the kitchen would have made it an even more delayed event. For a Hilton, the experience was very disappointing.

HILTON MARINA HOTEL”

THIS IS OUR THIRD STAY AT THE HILTON MARINA HOTEL AND WE ALWAYS HAVE A PLEASANT STAY. GREAT LOCATION FOR RESTAURANTS, WATER TAXI, CRUISE SHIP AND AIRPORT. ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND STAFF VERY FRIENDLY.

Great Hotel in marina area close to the airport”

I had a great overnight stay, would love to return and spend more time no beach but there is a pool. Although I came as a couple there were many families staying at hotel with young children. I would highly recommend this hotel rooms overlooking the marina are fabulous...near the pool are loud.

Nice hotel, great staff”

We arrived for a one night stay (before leaving for a cruise out of Ft.Lauderdale) at 6am after a red eye from CA. The manager, Derrick Moore was so accommodating and helpful, allowing us to relax in the lobby and at the pool while we waited for our room. They even provided early check in (11am instead of the normal 3pm). Thank you, Hilton!

Good, but not great”

this hotel is good if you have a night in Ft Lauderdale after a cruise, but not for an extended holiday stay. The rooms are a bit run down. The thing that does balance this our is that the staff are excellent.

Everything is at an additional cost!”

I was very disappointed with our stay at Hilton Fort Lauderdale. Everything is at an additional cost at the hotel. The Wifi, the business center, parking. In this day of age you expect wifi to be included. When you see prices of the hotel you can add 20$ pr. night for self parking. Finally the staff is not very friendly and service minded.

Ok hotel but really nothing special”

Stayed for one night during a business trip. It's another ok Hilton Hotel but really nothing special. Beware of which room you get- some are very old and tatty with paint coming off the walls and are musty and generally not inviting. Didn't look anything like the photos. I asked for another room and this time in the main tower which was much better but still not amazing. Cleanliness could be much better; bathroom had a quick clean and it certainly never got vacuum cleaned. Pool was constantly out of towels. Long wait for check in, check out as well as for food. Staff were nice enough but never apologized for the long waits or old room. All in all, it's not great value for what else can be booked in the area.

Great place if you get one of the constant revolving good deals out there. 4 star for 3 star prices. Great location in the Marina...provided you have a car. Be warned that the parking is additional charges daily.

They don't treat you very good. The couple before me got offered as choice of rooms/locations and the employee was very friendly to them. When I asked about room location she just said you have a standard room booked through a third party and this is what you get. Not only was I upset because checking the price the day before, it had gone down from what I had paid, I could have walked up from the street and got better treatment and a lower price. I guess that's why they have the restrictions on canceling, it must be 2 days prior to arrival. There is no airport transportation either which wasn't exactly clear in the hotel's description. $16 cab fare from airport. The dining was really expensive! $15 dollars for 7 chicken wings! Yes, seven. Otherwise the hotel itself was really nice, up-to-date and clean.

very good no problems at all.Staff brilliant we arrived late at night and were booked in and shown to our rooms in very fast time,even when we arrived from our cruise the hotel booked us straight in.Very efficient staff

OK hotel, staff was very unhelpful. ”

This place was OK, I expected more from a Hilton. The hotel rooms were ok, pretty small. Our window looked out into the parking lot, i had a nice view of the undercarriage of a car. Three times I asked the hotel front desk about information in the city, and all three times they gave me nothing. I asked where can I find metered parking? Their response "I don't know, I don't live here.." There was metered parking across the street. I asked them if they could give me the number for the IMAX. Their response "No.". I really don't know what their problem was.

Completely overpriced”

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before hence our return visit. The location is first class with everything you need close by. However, I can no longer reccomend it. We were given room 2228 in the West Villas wing. The check in clerk informed us it was overlooking the coastal waterway which incidentally is where we have always allocate Sadly for us, it was overlooking the very busy 17th Street road which isn't conducive to a decent nights sleep, even more so after a long transatlantic flight. The room was filthy. There was old chewing gum stuck to the carpet, the back of a band aid underneath the dining chair and it's pretty obvious the skirting boards hadn't seen a duster of any description.The standing lamp was broken, the bath was devoid of any enamel and the' stainless steel ' wall light was rusty. I understand Hilton hotels operate a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy so hopefully I will get a response from them. I hope they like the pictures I have taken.

Beautiful location on the intercoastal waterway.”

The hotel was nice, we were booked a tower room and ended up with a villa room. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Had some issues with the toilet running and parking lot key not working every time. Internet and parking were an additional charge, where most hotels we have stayed at had them included. I would stay here again for the location, pool, bar and value for the money.

really pleasant overall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food excellent at breakfast and the outside bar. Swimming pool and area well kept and clean. rooms spacious and clean.

Bad management”

I stayed in February for 2 nights at the end of a 4 month travelling holiday. The hotel placed a hold on my card for incidentals. This hold didn't come off. I emailed Hilton honors and had emails sent to the manager 3 times who I was advised was the only one who could fix the issue. The manager never contacted me back. 30 days later the hold dropped off once I got back to my own country and was able to contact mybank. A month travelling short on funds due to their error and not even a reply. Could not even offer an apology. Very disappointing for a Hilton.

Gorgeous room with great view”

Don't appreciate that this day and age that guests don't get free wifi unless they are a gold or diamond member. I will not be booking there again for that reason. Most hotels these days have free wifi for all their guests and this hotel should get with the program. Then there's the parking, 21 bucks for me to park and then 25 bucks for valet parking . A big turn off.
