Our booking said deluxe Queen with ensuite. It was 2 SMALL single beds with a hospital type bathroom attached. Quaint building but in need of some upkeep and the lush grounds were unkempt and shabby.

A big rambling ex-retirement home so a few quirky reminders The place was clean and basic. Never really saw any staff. Extractor fan in the bathroom was on a sensor which was a bit annoying in the night and could hear the next room one as well.

Pros: Affordable accommodation, bedroom amenities were good. Cons: Extremely dirty furniture in commom rooms, Some residents very abrasive (not sure whether resident or staff).

Type of rooms available, affordable, spacious

Manager was very helpful upon our arrival, made sure we knew where to get a meal etc. if necessary & showed us around complex with good explanation of services available. Facilities were adequate, bed and room were comfortable.
