Basic but no complaints from me! ”

The location of Hello Me Me is great. It is essentially a concrete box with a rock hard mattress (though I slept ok) but it was cheap so I certainly didn't expect much. There is no sink but brushing your teeth with the bum gun & spitting on the floor isn't that bad! There is a mosquito net and the place is clean - towels are also provided. The lady who runs it is lovely and will organise tours/onward transport etc. It is conveniently located for shops, bars, restaurants, ATM & the beach. Basic but no complaints from me!

It is 3 minutes from the beach, clean and safe with a cute outside area of every room. If you are sensitive to noise just use earplugs, it's worth it. The area around is a fantastic place to meet new people, lots of backpackers, seasonal workers and locals. The staff of Hello Me Me are super friendly and will help you with any type of booking of trips and taxi, and they will help you get a sweet deal. I highly recommend! I didn't see one bug during my stay.

Well, there are some parties on few days - but in whole area you live safe and silent with ear plugs ;) The money you safe in hello me me you can invest in a lot of other things like tours or massages. Room gets cleaned as often you ask for. Water is only "cold" but who needs warm water here? It's damn hot! :) Best: water pressure is very high. So nice under the shower! Worst: no sink. But you will be able to manage your morning wash. As others mentioned: the mattress is very stony. But this did not held us from sleeping :) Best for this budget!

You can rent a motorbike here very cheap. We did and now we know this Island is very nice and we have all we need to sleep here in hello me me. A bit stony mattress, but fully okay to sleep and stay there. The housewife is very very lovely and friendly.

Really sweet bungalows with table and banks outside, a mosquito net and so friendly staff! The way to the beach takes you only 2 minutes walking! Beautiful, long beach! Small shop with food and other useful things is really near, 3 minutes walking, as well as different restaurants! I recommend to visit Lanta Animal Welfare!!!

Exceptional”

The room was extremely clean. I found the bed and pillows comfortable. There was a mosquito net around the bed and screens on the windows. I never saw one mosquito or bug in my room for the 5 nights I was there. There is no sink in the bathroom which was no big deal for me. I just used the shower hose to wash my hands etc. You really can’t beat the price for the location and what you get. I would def stay here again in the future. Plus the staff are very friendly. I had an excellent stay. Thank you.

Good stay, great staff”

Very good private rooms and price for the location. Our toilet was broken the first day, they fixed it right away and it worked good the rest of our stay. The fan rooms can get pretty warm but cooled down good at night. Every time we went into the office they asked if we wanted our room cleaned free of charge, we got it cleaned once when we extended our stay and they changed the bedding and everything! There is a mosquito net around the bed, that we didn't use one night and regretted, but the net works great when you use it. Only downside to this bungalow is that the bed was very hard, and its in the heart of the party, but the music seemed to get shut off quite early, and we slept fine with ear plugs in.

Fantastic price for great location and privacy”

You get a bungalow with private bathroom almost directly at the beach. You will not get any better deal on the island. The staff is so helpful and lovely too. The only negative is the really hard (stone) matress.

Absolutely amazing location, 150m far from the beach, all the bars and restaurants. Great wifi (15/5 mbps). May be the locker could be bigger. Can't put my laptop to it. There is no AC but the fan is sufficient. I had no bugs in the bungalow, but you mustn't leave the door opened in the night ;)

Best low budget in Koh lanta”

Very Clean, modern (wifi, safe) room, Very friendly staff, cheap prices. And the best: wonderful beach and surroundings. Not that perfect: only cold water, but you're happy with that as it is very hot here ;) And sometimes party but very less in comparison to other islands ;) you can fix it with earplugs ;)

Could be very nice bungalows if maintained better”

The concrete bungalows (therefore a bit hot in the evening) and the place itself could be very nice, but somehow are not finished and lack general maintenance - walls are not painted, no shelfs, racks, or wardrobe - so you have to keep your clothes on the floor, no sink in the bathroom. But on other hand the room was cleaned every 2 days, staff provides you with cups, boiling water when asked for; there was a problem with a toilet flush but it was repaired in 2hours. The yard with tables and benches jn front of rooms also could be very nice if kept better. Also rather noisy at nights from neighboring bars and a pump or some mashinery nearby, sometimes comes unpleasant smell from neighborhood. Otherwise its OK. We booked for one night, but prolonged for 3 more.

Nice people running the place. Clean and comfy room. Just in the heart of koh lanta. The mattress was like made of stones but for a sleep is okay.

Great place by the beach”

Great place for very good price. Beach just in a few steps, there is grocery store around the corner, bars and restaurants. They have scooters to rent, they can arrange any transfer you need. Very friendly owners. Definitely would stay again!

Very friendly staff! Great location. The room is cheap but quite clean, big and comfortable. Bad thing is old mattress (you can feel strings) and lack of sink. But its great place to stay for couple days.

Excellent”

Clean, basic accommodation, very close to the beach and near many restaurants and cafes. Staff is friendly, and wifi works well. Definitely a good value for the price. Only downside is the mattress is VERY hard.

It isnt right on the beach and to be honest, there is not much of a view but it is quite close to the beach, the store, bars and some little food places. The concrete rooms don't actually feel too cell like and are maybe a good option if you are worried about security.

Had a great stay here, room is basic but everything you need! clean, good WiFi, 1 min walk to long beach. Close to good convenience store with good food stalls out the front. really lovely staff, helpful with booking our bus to Krabi
