More than just a place to stay!”

The highlight of our trip to Sapa was staying at the Heart of Sapa Hotel because of our host, Ha. As the owner of this newly opened hotel and an ex-tour guide around the region, Ha really made our stay here incredible. She is proficient in English and helped us plan our adventures around the region, from treks down into the valley to great restaurant recommendations. Whatever we wanted to do, Ha would personally call on our behalf and help us set up our plans in Vietnamese, sometimes she would even escort us across the street to help us order food! The rooms are brand new and extremely clean, you can tell that Ha takes pride in keeping her hotel immaculate at all times, and you really get the sense that she is welcoming you into her home during your stay. We opted to have breakfast included with our stay, and boy was it worth every penny. You start the morning with a delicious omelet with a side of Vietnamese bread, along with fresh juices and coffee. I’m pretty sure I saw her buy the ingredients fresh from the market across the street as well! Overall, this was our one of the most accommodating hotels I have stayed in, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is making a stop in the misty mountains of Sapa.

Excellent hotel with sincerely warm and loving staff ”

We stayed at the Heart of Sapa for five nights and had a wonderful experience from the second we walked inside. The hotel’s manager, who grew up in Sapa, was so, so kind, welcoming and helpful in every way and continued to be so throughout the rest of our time there. The rest of the staff was similarly kind, warm and attentive. They all helped us in so many ways throughout our stay, including: bringing our bags to our room, loaning u umbrellas, helping us get cabs and helping us find good restaurants, as well as, finally, allowing us to keep our bags at the hotel after check out. Additionally, we found our room very comfortable and enjoyed the hotel’s location in the middle of the city. Most of all, we particularly loved the included breakfast- which was delicious every morning! Everything about this hotel has a wonderfully quaint “bed and breakfast” feel. To the sensational manager and staff, thank you for making our time in Sapa so positive and extra memorable!!

World's Best Service and Comfiest Bed”

I literally cannot say enough good things about our experience at Heart of Sapa. Ms. Ha and her staff went above and beyond in every way to give us the most wonderful stay. They carried our bags, brought complimentary drinks to our room, arranged our transportation to and from Sapa at an excellent price (and at the last minute, since we had a sudden change of plans and decided to arrive in Sapa a day earlier). Ms. Ha is attentive, efficient, and so extremely kind. I mentioned it was my fiancé's birthday, and we returned from dinner that night to find a cake with candles and flower petals on our bed with a beautiful drawing from her daughter wishing him a happy birthday. Ms. Ha also arranged a wonderful trekking experience for us with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. At every moment of the stay, we felt so cared for and comfortable. The room itself was sparkling clean, and the bed was heavenly- the most comfortable bed I have ever found in Asia. You must stay at this amazing hotel!

Outstanding Service ”

Staying at this hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked into the hotel, every member of the staff took great care of us and went above and beyond with customer service. When we walked in, we were given a map of the town and Ha spent the next few minutes asking what we were interested in and gave us tips on different locations; she even helped us book a trip to see the waterfalls outside of town; she also helped schedule our bus transportation to Ninh Binh. We interacted with staff and Ha’s family during our stay and couldn’t be happier with our hotel choice. The room was exactly as pictured and was perfect for our stay. After the long bus ride to Sapa, as well as some long trekking days in the nearby towns, Heart of Sapa Hotel was exactly what we needed. Plus, the breakfast is made to order and is all you can eat!! Don’t hesitate on this hotel - book it!

Home away from home”

We booked one night initially but ended up extending our stay to four nights - it was that good! The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, hence the small number of reviews, but don't let that put you off. The rooms are very modern, clean and bright, with luxurious bathrooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is amazing - probably the best we'd had on our six weeks of travelling in Vietnam. Great hotel facilities aside, the best part of our stay was the owner, Ha and her family. She went out of her way to make our stay exceptional and she truly made us feel at home. Hands down, Heart of Sapa Hotel is the best place we stayed in over our entire trip and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Fabulous staff and super comfortable stay ”

I had the best stay in Sapa, thanks to Ha, the manager at Heart of Sapa, who made our trip so memorable. She was an incredible help, and arranged some excellent tours and a trek for us. As soon as we got back to the hotel each day after trekking or an outing, she would have a hot tea, coffee or fresh juice for us, which was the nicest touch at the end of the day . She saved us a lot of money on our treks as well - if you don't have plans when you get to Sapa, Ha's advice is great, including tips on eating and shopping in Sapa. Thank you Ha!

Warmest and fantastic stay ”

Great experience staying in Heart of Sapa Hotel! We made a perfect decision to stay here and get the warmest care from the manager named Ms Ha! She made us the perfect stay in SaPa no matter my husband run the marathon or I went the private tour with excellent trekking around the local villages! Highly recommend any people from all over the world to stay in Heart of Sapa Hotel while going to Sapa!

Fantastic service and new modern facilities”

I thoroughly enjoy my stay here. Firstly, service here is top-notch. Mrs Ha, the manager, has a wealth of information and knowledge about Sapa (and even the neighbouring region like Ha Giang) regarding hikes/tours and can easily link you up directly with the right people (i.e. *good* guides and drivers). I had the activities of my four day stay all planned by her and easily saved 30-50% of the cost had I done it elsewhere. Staff here are very attentive to your needs and your situation (e.g. breakfast takeaways, providing bottled water, usage of shower facilities after checking out etc.) The hotel is clean and well kept. Toilets (my usual top criteria) is very nice and modern. I understand from Mrs Ha that the hotel is merely five and a half months old. Location is excellent. Just off the main street so you don't get much noise from traffic or bars and yet retain that accessibility. Situated along the Sapa market street which is a plus for me because you get a glimpse of local life just right out the door. Overall, an absolute steal for the price and would gladly come back if I wish to revisit the area. Thanks Mrs Ha for the memorable stay.

A New Gem”

We had a wonderful stay in the Heart of Sapa. It's a new hotel run by a very friendly and helpful young woman. I think her name was Ha. She gave us tons of information about the area, about the customs of the people, and about what to see and where to go. She had worked previously as a tour guide, so she was a wealth of information! The hotel was quiet, compared with some of the other hotels on busier streets, and the rooms felt newly done and fresh. Lo Cai is a good jumping off point to see many other things in that region. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Incredible Staff”

Ha and her staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and complete. The advice we were given allowed us to maximize our time and take in the many beautiful sites Sapa has to offer. The rooms were smallish, but clean and more than adequate. The breakfasts were fantastic! The young staff were so much fun to work with on their English skills. The location is perfect. The main shopping street and many popular restaurants were less than a five minute walk away. I would highly recommend everyone to stay at the Heart of Sapa.

Heart of Sapa is a great place to stay in Sapa. Nice rooms good location... but specially amazing staff! Ha (the lady at reception desk) helped us a lot in order to enjoy Sapa and plan a good treeking. She doesnt try to sell you anything or charge you more... she is clear and nice and try to do her best for all the guests. She upgraded our room and organized an amazing treeking with homestay with a great local guide. Thanks a lot Ha!!

Heart of Sapa hotel was amazing! The owner, Ha, is the most generous and helpful person I've met. She booked everything for us and answered all of our questions! She even made us dinner one night! The hotel is a great value for your money and it's really nice. The beds are super comfy and the showers are great after a day of hiking! I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a very good stay in heart of sapa hotel. The friendly lady at the reception desk was much more hospitable than we could reasonably expect. She spoiled us with a welcome juice and offered us a shower after we'd already checked out, when we came back after a long day. We would definetely recommend this place to everyone!

Its a brand new hotel, in the best location (in the heart of sapa). The staff is excellent and helpfull. The shower is good and the beds are new and very confortable. The furnitures are new and modern. The owner is a very friendly woman who can help you with everything you need. Breaksfast is good also, I highly recommend this hotel

My girlfriend and I had a great 2 night stay at Heart of Sapa. Ha is the best! She organized a wonderful tour for us and had great recommendations for where to eat and visit. Hands down our best service experience to date. Our room was very new and spacious. No complaints.

Nice customer service but damp”

This is a great budget hotel right in the centre of Sapa. It’s very dated but the staff manage to keep it very clean. The room we stayed in was quite damp and heating system wasn’t working a thick blanket kept us warm while sleeping. Smell from sewerage but I think most places have both these problems especially at this time of year.

I really don't know where to start. I first sent an email explaining we was going to be early. I got a prompt reply with detailed English welcome. We arrived at 6am she gave us a free complimentary breakfast btw u get unlimited breakfast each morning which is the best I have had in Vietnam with natural fruit juice & coffee & tea. As she was fully booked the night before we couldn't check in till 2pm however she gave us fresh towels to shower in a wonderful bathroom with a strong shower head, this was a dream after that sleeper bus. Then she felt bad on us as the guy who was in our checking out was ill and staying till late so she very kindly upgraded us to the deluxe room I was overwhelmed with the cleanliness and beauty of the room with an amazing view and bathroom. Bed is sooooo comfortable. We was planning a huge moUntian climb what not many people do on there own so her husband drove us here at 5am and picked us up there is even more from this kind hearted lady she made us take away breakfast and lunch I didn't think such people like this women existed she is like a saint I just kept wanting to hug her. We done the climb 7 hours up after arriving back to the hotel she welcomed us with fruit juice and pancakes and fruit again I was blown away my boyfriend was just in shock from her kindness. This night we didn't have no where to stay as we only booked one night she went out of her way as the hotel was full but we said we would pay more for the deluxe so she very kindly let us stay an extra night. Third day we woke up had an amazing breakfast that I went to sleep dreaming about. She then gave us detailed info on how to get to cat cat waterfall and main spots for views and restaurants. I cannot thank Ha and her husband and all the people that work there enough I felt like we was at home I was soooo comfortable I had been suffering bad with stomach problems and since being here is has gone am guessing because I feel so calm and content here and safe. Ple

Great hotel with excellent service ”

The hotel host/owner was amazing and went the extra mile to ensure we have a great time in sapa. Arranged the tour and busses to Hanoi for us. She even packed some food for us for the bus ride. The hotel was very clean and looked new as well. The only downside was it was on a local market lane but very close to the town centre
