Good For Solo Travel”
About 650m or 15 minute walk to Havilla Maranatha from where the airport DAMRI bus drop me off outside Hotel Bumi Minang. OR U could use the Airport train to Padang Train Station & use GoCar or Grab Car to go to Havilla Maranatha if u prefer convenience as the bus waited for 1 hour at the Airport before it departed. Many restaurants are nearby & U can buy bottles of drinking water onsite or across the road. Havilla only provided very small bottle of drinking water.

cheap, clean, great location but small rooms”
this hotel is very cheap, i paid only around rupiah/night for room and breakfast. The hospitality is very nice, good foods, very close to historical site kota tua padang unfortunately, the room is so small, even not enough space to open my suitcase some rooms are divided by plywood, i can clearly hear people talking and some sounds in the corridor from my room, i assume they can hear my voice as well while i loudly talk or playing music in my room from the corridor.

Best price and near to the ocean and stalls”
The price was affordable for a family of three. We can walk to the beach and stalls near it around 15 minutes only. There's a food stall in front of the hotel also. Actually quite a lot stalls. Halal and non-halal stalls accessible by walking. There's a hot water and air conditioned. We get free breakfast also as per booking statement. Need to pay 200k rupiah for security deposit but I'm short of rupiah thus head back to Malaysia next day and just giving RM40 for security deposit. Overall is okay

great location, but cleanliness is the issue”
even overall the hotel is great (best location, good foods, hospitality of the staffs, the room), but i found lots of fire ants (and also got bitten) in the blanket. they come to my room and change the blanket, but not changing the bed cover, i believe i should get offer of changing my room immediately after i complaining about the ants.

Worth for a budget hotel”
During Ramadhan, the staff even wake us up for sahur (early breakfast at 4 am). The location is good since local restaurants is nearby. The price is worth for a budget hotel. Cleanliness is nice.

Simple hotel”
There is parking in the hotel premises for 3 cars. Took the family room. Pretty cramped for 3 people, but we managed. The hot shower and air conditioning worked. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. It is not walking distance to any restaurants or convenient stores. I think I might have seen a small store nearby. We drove so didn't have a problem with that. Hotel staff are friendly but not good at recommending tourist spots.

comfort room for 2 pax, nice breakfast, they serve us nasi goreng, bubur and bread with pineapple jam. i just have a short stay there since i have morning flight. good for travellers that spend whole day outside and just want a room to sleep. better to have own/rental transport. facilities in toilet need to improve since the water tap is broken and leakage sink.

+ staff really helpful + staff can offer providing grab service to airport as early as 6am for IDR 100k + room is comfortable and bed is fluffy + near to many cheap local restaurant (Bakso Tenteram) + easy to get Grab area + buffet breakfast is good - the bathroom cleanliness is so bad. We found earthworm under the dustbin not one, but 7-8 earthworms - the water hole in bathroom is not fuctioning at all.
