Ample free parking inside the mall, easy lift access to Hotel Reception at 12th floor, easy check-in with friendly staffs, separate and secured lift to hotel rooms accessible only by key card, clean and well-lighted room, good sound-proof room, equipped with rain shower. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfasts then burn the calories at the gym. There is a nice swimming pool and sauna too. There is a hourly operated hop-in free shutter bus right in front of the hotel that travels in a loop, making stops at Pahlawan Mall, The historical Jonker street and The Stadthuys (stop/pick-up in front of Malaysia Youth Muzium/Post Office). We enjoyed our 3-nights stay at Hatten Place Melaka.

Good for a short getaway and worth the money ”
I was excited to stay at this hotel after reading all of the reviews, and yes, I was right to feel excited. The check-in process was smooth, the room is a bit small for me, and I gotta say, the bed and pillow were a bit hard, not very comfy for a stay more that one night. But the facilities inside the room weren’t that bad. It has a new Samsung LED TV, a mini fridge. The only thing that made me feel a little bit mehh is there was no teaspoon / stirrer provided. So, how do I make my cup of tea / coffee? I’m not sure it was accidentally not provided during housekeeping. About the breakfast, even though many reviews mentioned about the long queue and the crowd, I must say, kudos to the team and staff that handles the breakfast. They make sure that all guests are seated properly, unlike other hotels where guests just walk-in and find their seats. The breakfast was good! The complimentary access to skydeck was awesome! The view was great! Overall, it was a good stay for me and I recommend it for those who wishes to have a short visit to Melaka.

Pleasant 2 Days 1 Night Stay”
The hotel room is nice and comfortable.. Quite a new hotel operating since last year I heard.. Staff is polite and friendly.. Carpark is sufficient as the hotel is locate on top of a shopping mall.. Facilities like gym and swimming pool are in good shape and well functioning.. The cons will be you will need to wait for the lift longer time especially during check out to leave the hotel.. Everyone was lining up in line for the 2 lifts.. Breakfast is served but the taste is normal and there is room for improvement.. I will definitely book this hotel again in future for any stay in Melaka..

The room is clean n spacious. The pillow are very comfortable n u can choose the type of pillow that they provide. I love the high floor room and the city view. They have a variety of breakfast and delicious. My kids were enjoyed during the stay. Last but not least, we'll done to the housekeeping, they do a courtesy call to us if we need anything and the delivery is fast.. We will repeat again next time for sure.

Our short trip but meaningful”
We only been there just to hang out with friends after a while. It was really great, comfortable and satisfactory. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. You can get to go to sky walk in the same building by free entrance since you booked the room, however it depend on which room you booked as it counted per head. But it was really nice and got nice view of Melaka at night.

I was being here for my short vacay and unfortunately i need to shorten my stay from 3 day 2 night to 2 day 1 night. Actually i doesn't know that this hotel will gave us complimentary cake birthday, however my hubby just eat a little because he not really like to eat cake. The services by the front desk, services from bellmen that help us to give new keycard because the keycard that given to us cannot be use, the services from room services at midnight, services from call operator also good. But in the morning, when we went down to have our breakfast, the server doesn't try to help us. She just stand still and no smile at all. However the server boy was full with smile. Very comfortable and friendly. The food was so scrumphious and good for healthy. From the first day until our last day, only a staff that saw us walking out from the elevator and smile and greeting. And the others that met us on our way go to the room just straight away just like we not existed. But its okay. Maybe they busy with their work. The pool just nice. Thank you so much Hatten Place! Will be come again when i travel at Melaka next time! Keep it up!

Love everything especially the view frm the room and ur super comfort bed that makes me do not want to wake up :) i didnt go for breakfast on first day as i got up late but i went for second day..i understand its sunday and its busy day..but ur food choice and presentation doesnt make me wanna eat. End up i only ate 2 slice of honey dew and my husband only ate ur french toast. Mayb u can improve on that

I appreciated staff effort to enjoy our trip. They gives us a good room and meet our room request. Front desk staff allow late check up despite peak season Concierge staff helped me to book grab Took my bags and even asked the coach bus to wait for me on the day of departure. The maintenance guy came in time to adjust our air con before we can sleep in our room. A napal security guard walked and show me the hotel and the mall to keep me safe at night during his guard duty All the staff have shown extraordinary service to gives me a memorable experience.

All i can say is this hotel was amazing for both of us! We will surely repeat next time . Their staff so friendly. All of them was so amazing. I couldn't express how happy were we. we don't have too wait for so long to checked-in to our room. Their breakfast also nice! I love their croissant 😜the room a bit small with new modern design,but it's okay since it is just both of us. Swimming pool was great but due to haze the view making it looks so bad. Hope hatten place will maintain their good service for future!

That we like most it had cinema, i think it was new hotel, tq so much that give us free to see look at skydeck with 360 degree that we can see all it, free bus to bring us around place melaka that we can stop where we want, they give us again free coffee at the cafe..i wish we can go melaka wth a few weeks in next year.

love this hotel. staffs are very nice and helpful. will definitely stay here again if im going malacca and will recommend to my friends. love the lvl 44 sky view. it's super nice seein whole malacca view. there was parachuting event during my stay. managed to see them playing parachute. hotel provides free hourly shuttle bus service to jonker st. there's 7-11 at G level too. breakfast in hotel was superb. lots of choices and food taste very nice.

It was a romantic stay for us, very well done by the Executive Housekeeper - who took care of the deco for the room, "Towel Love Swan", Fruit basket, Slice of Cake, its a sea-view room (Deluxe King), what could you ask for, The hotel lobby is one floor away from a less- crowded cinema, The breakfast choices was excellent & delicious The Infinity Pool is a great place to relax The Complimentary Coffee, Bus rides, And not forgetting the 360 Sky Deck with "Tallest Bar in Melaka", (Somehow the pool is closed there) and the least, free Mall Parking and a team of Friendly reception! There are lots of eateries near the hotel which is walking distance, and is very close to Portuguese Square as well...

Nice, neat and clean room with large lobby”
Hotel lobby in situated above a shopping mall, but the mall has very little shops opened. Lobby is very big and check in was a breeze. Rooms were not very big but comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool. Hotel provides free shuttle services to the city area. Would definitely come back to Hatten place again.

Not many shop nearby. I went to the cafe for tea. Awful cakes and cupcakes. It was hard like a rock. Not up to standards at all. Just love the room with sea view. I had a smooth check in with Kausy front office staff.She was friendly. My nightmare started at check out. Left my luggage at the front office during check out. When i wanted to collect my luggage FO Staff told me to collect from downstairs. i went down bellman said go back up. So inefficient. I did raise my voice but your bellman can tell me don't shout at him not his fault. Guest is angry and frustrated, don't expect me to be all smiles!!! Send them for training

Front desk staff are friendly , helpful and voluntary to arrange our room (I booked for 2 different room type) to be in the same floor. Quick check in and check out. One of our room, the water pipes keep leaking water and request for extra floor towel highlighted to housekeeping staff and no further action taken by them thereafter. Hotel Facilities are all well maintained because it’s still newly opened I guess. Unpleasant experience when redeemed for complimentary drinks. Have to get more staff in the cafe, very slow serving, waited for 10min still cannot get my cake served even I voluntary myself to collect from cashier counter.

Great stay! Relatively new hotel, infinity pool was nice, room was good. Love the breakfast! Interior design of the restaurant was trendy yet comfortable and breakfast spread was real good! Definitely value for every cent I have paid, will return for next stay!

Good for family with kids”
Pros. Located in shopping mall which there is cinema and a big indoor playground where my kids really enjoyed it. The playground also have cafe. Breakfast have variety of food and delicious but you need to come early otherwise need to wait for a long queue. This hotel also have highest level called 'skydeck" where you can see beautiful view during sunset and night. Cons. Swimming pool for adult a bit small. There is no atm machine in the mall and limited restaurant to eat due to the shopping mall still new.
