Hotel condition are clean, modern and minimalist interior, bright lighting at lobby, aisle, room and bathroom, also no carpet inside room so less dust - it's helpfull for people having allergethic. Harris Hotel, became our favourite 4 stars hotel at our destination cities. At least we have stayed at Harris Hotel at Bali Kuta, Jakarta, Bandung (2 locations) and Surabaya.

Wonderful service and value for money”
A clean hotel, full of vibes. Layout was basic but had everything one needs. Kettle, fridge, shower amenities including toothbrush. Service staff always full of zest with smiley greetings. Free shuttle van to 3 malls n Gubeng train station. We were lucky to bumped into their GM who gives very good recommendations of seafood restaurant nearby. We'll not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will stay hete again if we return to Surabaya.

Clean Room, Good location and Best Service”
As per the title, the room of hotel is clean, maybe not too big, but enough for living, the internet is fast and the staff is friendly. I like to stay in Harris hotel when I travel in Surabaya. Just one small thing, the hotel is so popular for wedding, so if you come in weekend, you cann't to enjoy the hotel buffet, only these.

If you are looking for a very clean hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, Harris is the place to go. The room is very spacious too. Staff are always smiling and greeting you. They even gave us free cake as we were there on our honeymoon. This is my first time in Harris Gubeng, but I've been to few other Harris Hotels all over Indo.

clean, near to grand city mall, surabaya plaza. they provide shuttle bus to grand city mall, surabaya plaza, tunjungan plaza and gubeng station. what i like the most is their breakfast, they provide indonesian traditional herbal drink called “jamu”

Great budget hotel”
Don't go here expecting the greatest place in history, because you'll be disappointed. It is however a great budget hotel in an ideal location, especially if you need to catch an early morning train ride from Surabaya Gubeng station. That's the reason we stayed and it met all of our needs. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean and in general it was an all round decent hotel for the short 2 night stay we had. Any longer than that and personally I'd be looking for something a little bit nicer, however everyone has different requirements. We had two issues during the day. Firstly, the air-conditioning in the room was not cold at all. It felt like it easily was 26-27C in there even when on the coldest setting. Engineering came in and sorted that out and it was fine after that. The second issue (and this is not just limited to Harris), is the mini-fridge is not a fridge at all. It doesn't chill anything to less than about 12-15C even after 12 hours.

nice hotel, maybe we were not that lucky?”
Stayed for one night in Harris Gubeng, interior-wise, the hotel is very nice and modern-looking. Has rainshower in every type of the room. Staffs are super friendly and helpful; greeting the guests every time we pass. Gave welcome drink and snack. Nice pool, spa and restaurant (the food is nice too). Has Macs available for guests to use. Located in the center of city. Unfortunately the water was all dirty and smell of sewage for couple of hours (room 815) so we requested to be moved to other room, and in the other room (room 826) the door lock was broken and the cooler didn't work; I'd give 5 out of 5 for Harris Gubeng if only these things did not happen/were not there. Accidents happen but please improve the facilities Harris, I'd definitely come back if everything's more set again :)

I was travelling by train from Yogyakarta to Bali via Surabaya and I stopped in this hotel for 1 night. It was great! Big room with a comfy bed and good shower, amazing breakfast, nice swimming pool and a great city view from the restaurant balcony. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel - it’s close to the train station too.

Forget how many times I have been stay in Harris Gubeng. For all I can say, the cleanliness and the food quality has been decreasing since my first time here. But overall, it is still family friendly hotel.

New, Quiet and Close to Gubeng Train Station”
We used Harris Hotel because we came in late afternoon on train from Probolinggo and had to leave early in the morning on train to Yogjakarta, and did not dissappoint. Positives.... nearly everything only small negative was that the room had a cooler not a fridge , which was slow to cool things. Would stay there again, Try the evening buffet at 138000 IDR.....awesome and nice elevated terrace for coffee and dessert afterwards , nice pool.... everything good!!

That was amazing hotel with all facilities especially kids club and pool For breakfast have a great taste and many variant from traditional food until western and there is a japanese food corner Many Mosquitoes in surabaya so dont forget to use mosquito repellent lotion if you travelling with baby or toddler

Overall its a good stay”
First, the location, well traffic jam is usual thing in surabaya so for me its an ok position, there’s mini market, starbucks is at opposite hotel and many resto. Breakfast during pandemic i say also ok. Now The room is very recomended for family there’s a sofa which i love the most, sheets,floor, towels all clean. Amenities also enough. There’s a small fridge so useful. The playroom and gym is still closed during covid pandemic. Overall its a recomended hotel. I love it.

- there are 3 bolsters (1 small). A very great help for a family with little children. And also the sofa bed makes us have "bigger" bed. - the staffs are very friendly, they like to help us. we stayed at the comfort room which has a free laundry facility, but we didn't get any information about it. I mean, the staff should have actively asked if we might need the laundry or pressing. - the breakfast menu is great and of course delicious. if I have to stay in a hotel again, I will surely choose harris.

The best place for take a rest”
I stay on harris on 31 of october 2020. My room type is comfort type. This room was awesome for family with young children. The bath room, the king bed size and also the breakfast. All of the staff was so kind to the guest. I recommend to all of you to stay here. Don't be shy, they all of happy to service us. Thank you harris. Will stay here again.

Good all-round budget hotel”
This hotel is in a good location, but it is nothing fancy. It worked well for us as we caught a train from Gubeng station at 7am after checking out in the morning. The air conditioning worked extremely well, the staff were friendly and the room was a good size.
