2 nights stay family room”

Was a decent room nice little balcony, outside private toilet would of stayed longer but we found a place very similar for alot cheaper just alittle more away from the busy street. Always we want to say we meet 3 guys working there on different shifts and they was all very nice polite respectful guys we would return just because of this reason. Thank you.

Exceptional”

Nice & clean, located really near the Bui Vien Walking Street. Plenty of fun & activities for tourists on that stretch. Staff were most friendly & helpful :)

Very nice Hostel”

Hostel so nice, we stayed two nights in dorm beds, the rooms very clean, the beds so comfortable and room so quiet, althought close Bui Vien Walking street, and rooms always have jasmine oil , the smell so good . The staff was friendly , he was helpful us alot tour, bus, etc.

The Hostel very nice, breakfast so great with traditional coffee and good foods. The beds was comfortable and specious, the staff was very friendly, they helpfull us Evey thing. This is best kind for backpacker want look for a good stay.

Acceptable”

Happy Saigon Hostel is the best place in saigon to make u unhappy. When we arrived at the hostel, we were told that the sink in the room was broken so they moved us to another hotel called Tuong Hung with very bad situation. The room has no window and the fridge stinks, even the A/C remote control's batteries were wet. It seemed that the room was vacant for quite a long time and later we found a huge cockroach under the pillow! When we checked out from Tuong Hung in the morning, the reception still wanted to charge us for room fees although we have paid to Happy Saigon Hostel. Later that day when we got back to Happy Saigon Hostel to fetch our luggage, we saw some guests complaining about having neither hot water nor balcony, as well as other facilities as informed on the website. The staff responded in very rude manners only to shake their responsibilities and saying words like "80% of hostels are all like this". For others who wanna stay at Happy Saigon Hostel, THINK TWICE!!

Quiet place in the center”

We stayed one night but we can appreciate the tranquility of the location of the hostel right in the center of Ho Chi Minh.

Good”

Happy Saigon is a good play to stay near the backpacker district of HCMC. The room was nice, big and clean. Unfortunately, the hostel was overbooked on the first night we stayed and we were offered, and stayed in, a hotel around the corner. While the hotel was not terrible it is not where we would have chosen to stay, no window, smelt of stale cigarette smoke. This situation seems to have happened a few times to this hostel so while a nice place to stay it seems like it should sort out its booking system!

Fab stay”

Staff were amazing. Breakfast tasty. Room spacious and clean. Tour was cheapest we found we did the cu chi tunnels.. was also great. Zero complaints.

Unorganized ”

We were two couples who booked two private rooms. When we arrived the manager at the hotel told us that he didn’t have any rooms.. He mooved us to another hotel which was okay. There were mould on the wall. But at that point we were tired of the whole thing and just decided to stay 1 night.

Excellent”

The hostel was new opened 2 months ago and the HOST was kind and helpful with passion. He recommended us a cheap but delicious noodle shop nearby, gave us a lot of useful information and help us to rent a motobike. And the host served us the breakfast without booking. But the host ask to keep our passports when we check-in. (But in other cities like HANOI, HUE and DA NANG the hostels or hotels just return our passports after check) Then we forgot to take our passports back when we check-out and we found out until we want to check-in in the airport (and our flight will fly 1.5 hours later). So we paid US$26 to the taxi driver to took us go back for the passports and come back to airport. When we arrived the hostel the Host took our passports worried how to contact with us and very sorry for that. (He'd like to get a taxi for us but we don't have enough time to wait) As mentioned above, maybe next time the Host can return the passports back after check. And both the host and guests also should check everything when check-out. Though we missed the flight and paid for change flight. But the host's attitude was good and the location is good!! We still recommend here!!

Best guesthouse on Saigon!!”

This was one of the best guesthouses I've been to in Asia. The room was absolutely HUGE and very clean. The a/c works perfectly. This is the very best you can get for this price. Also, the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, offered help with everything we needed. Location is also great, right near bui vieng street. Thank you so much!!

Good Hostel^_^”

This is a new hostel in Ho Chi Minh city, nice staffs and good service. Very near Bui Vien Street (Beer club's street) but it was quite in the night (no worries about your sleeping). I met some friends in hostel and went out to drink beers with them, it was very amazing. Thank you so much your helping me HappySaigon Hostel. Definitely comeback!

Nice Hostel ”

Hostel so nice , the room be decoration modern ,The mattress very smoothly the space so cozy, in side the room have flower very cute, and every thing clean, staff very helpful,and friendly, the location next to backpacker street very convenient. Hostel inside a alleyway so not noise , and so quiet, breakfast good with bread , fried egg, rice noodle, jam, ... and drink tea and coffee, i will come back here on next time .

Note sévère, mais à notre arrivée (malgré la réservation) l'hôtel était complet et notre chambre indisponible. De fait, on s'est retrouvé dans un autre hôtel proposé par le gérant de Happy Saigon. Hôtel franchement glauque, même s'il était propre. En plus, le quartier est franchement à éviter : peut-être le pire de Saigon. Parfait si vous voulez boire, faire la fête et vous assurer les services de prostituées.
