Great location”

We stayed here two nights and rented motorbikes from the establishment. Rooms were stock standard early 90s decor and comfortable. AC and wifi were working. Well located, walking distance from main strip and many fantastic eateries.

Below average ”

The place is great for renting scooter and buying bus tickets, but not as a hotel. Our room that we booked through agoda was veeeery old and creepy. Spotted a few cockroaches, but no bed bugs though bed sheets were dirty and not changed.

this hotel is just awful. It's not really expensive, but for this price your room smell really bad humidity, and your clothes will smell the day after the humidity ! the woman think that clients are just full of money, and she try to sell everything at anytime. and she put higher the price than the booking, because she need to eat...

Not organised nor clean”

At first we booked two nights to stay here but ended up staying one, at a push! When we arrived we were put into a room that was damp and smelly. We asked to change room which they did, but still the sheets were not clean and they stank as well. The bed was comfy but smelt like it hadn't been cleaned since the last few guests! Breakfast had no options, he just gave us a baguette with a bit of egg inside, no menu no communication and no staff about. Wasn't the best experience I must say!

The room was clean, air-con worked well. Internet was working well as well. We stayed a few nights,and asked if we could leave bags at the reception after check in and come back few hours later to take a shower before we board a night bus. The staff said it is not a problem. We sat at their restaurant for few hours and ordered many drinks and food (also overcharged us on food as the price in the menu was much lower). When we asked if we can shower (willing to pay) we were told No, because we didn't buy a bus ticket from them. The staff stood next to me watching me washing my hands in the sink, to make sure I won't use it too long. Horrible place to stay.

your average hostel in the countryside”

just a bit old. no luxury but can't complain. there's lockers, toiletries and a restaurant. there is not many people in off season so I was alone in the dorm.

This is THE WORST place we have been in Asia so far... the room is dirty. They haven't washed the sheets since days or weeks. The bathroom smells really bad. I couldn't even wash my teeth in it because of the smell. And now I m gonna talk about the staff... staff may be the worst of this place... by the staff I will particularly talk about the girl. I say a girl but she is maybe not even human. She is more like a robot "motorbike, motorbike, menu, menu, sit down !!! Sit down!!!, bus tickets ???!!". When we arrived she wouldn't give us our room even if whe had booked with Agoda without knowing how much we paid. For the rest of our stay she always talked to us with a lot of agressivity. We decided to buy our bus ticket for Phong Nha on a shop en she was so angry! Sorry if it was less expensive ! We did the check out at 11AM and rent her a motorbike. We we came back she knew we had to wait until 9PM for our bus. As we were not hungry, she forced us to leave the place with all our luggages. I HATED this place and this robot ! For almost two months travelling, this is my first negative experience and comments so you can take my word for granted! There is a lot of other places to stay in the street so dont go in that one.

great value backpacker place. Great shower with pressure and hot water. we were supposed to arrive at 630am but arrived at 330 am they let us take a nap in the dorm room until check in free of charge ( could be because we booked motorbike and tours / bus with them and ate there occasionally) also didn't charge for all the water. they are good people and we enjoyed our stay. would stay again for sure.

We were greeted by the lady who runs the place who told us that the hostel was full and that we had to call Agoda to get a refund. We had already pay for the room online. After getting into what was more of a fight than an argument she told us to wait for an hour. Only because we were pushy we got our room on time. The husband however was very nice and tryed to make things better for us. We would not stay here again.

Clean, friendly and good for one night ”

Wouldn't stay for an extended period of time but one night was fine. The staff were nice and the room was as pictured.

Definitely decent for it's price ”

Perfect place for a cheap sleepover with a basic room and facilitates. Location was good. For the standard it was clean, no insects, no dirty bathroom, clean sheets, all fine. Staff was friendly, helped us with ordering taxi in the early morning. Restaurant is not recommended though. Food was below mediocre, but that goes for most places there.

Good value but definite downsides ”

Room ok, although wifi could be dodgy at busy periods and hot water was not reliable. Several annoyances with the female staff who tried to charge us for breakfast although we'd paid online (the gentleman who works there was very understanding). They also try to sell you bus train motorbikes at every opportunity. Rather tiresome but the price is great.

Woman trying to up sell on everything, bikes. Drinks, deserts, day trips. Worst food I have ever eaten think I got food poisoning from this hotel. Would never stay again.

Near the main atractions”

Very helpful staff, although everything in Tam Coc being overpriced for Vietnamese standards, the staff here will help you to get the best deals.

Good enough but nothing special”

Location was good but the atmosphere left somethig to be desired. Bathroom wasnt very clean and blankets smelled like the person before me. Bed was very very hard and uncomfortable, but the price cant be beat. Good enough for one night in Tam Coc but i wouldnt stay again.

Was an oke stopover, but found a homestay that was way nicer for the same price.
