Affordable hotel”

Low rate located in the city of Davao. Staff are nice. Hotel newly renovated which explains elevator is not yet functioning. Minor improvement needed. My room doesn't have any mirrors and no remote control for the television. But overall stay at the hotel was Good.

Good budget hotel”

This is a very good budget hotel in terms of the following: price, location, cleanliness and good staff. Highly recommended for solo and family travelling to Davao City.

Clean room and Friendly staff”

Very accessible, the location is smack in the middle of Davao city. Staff are friendly, and rooms are ok for its price. There are cheaper rooms around the area though.

Good value for money”

I did not expect that the room was spacious coz it seems small in the photos posted.. Oh well room was spacious and the hotel location was good, just near NCCC. But staff should be at least prompt in our request.. We stayed there for 5 days and so there are times that we requested the front desk to pick up the trash and they will tell us that they will do it right away but sometimes they won't..

No Electrical Outlet near the bed”

My only problem with GV Hotel Davao is that there is no electrical outlet near the bed.

Suggestion”

I was satisfied from the previous stays in the hotel but the latest was I noticed that the floor in our room was dirty and the bathroom seems not cleaned well...although the air conditioning,linens and staff were satisfactorily ok..the internet should be used until the rooms not only in the lounge area...I suggest that the floor in the room and the bathroom must be bleached and washed well..thank you

Very near Bangkerohan market”

The hotel is near Bangkerohan market where you can buy your durian, pomelo, gifts, and souvenirs. Also near kusina dabaw (delicious siopao and mami). The locationnof the hotel is very good. The room we got has its power outlet far from bed and thats the only thing i didn’t like about my stay there.

Location good, room 114 bad”

Just dont get in to room 114. The room smells bad. Bring you own towel if your picky:) -cause there towel looks like x#@+. No hot shower. You can hear the neigborhood talking past 12 midnight. TV no good reception 4 day no TV:(. You feel you are in the dungeun. So I decided to transfer to other hotel Few blocks away.. However the lone staff is accomodating just explain carefully what you need. Perhaps you should ask the upper room .. will not book again. Cause I found a better one few blocks away. Location is very good. Just that rooms needs improvement.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly, functional hotel w/ a good location, this will do. It would be nice, though, if the hotel lobby could be airconditioned.

the rooms are big and in good location, but there is only one plug for your use very inconvenient, and the hotel looks old inside and out.

Bathroom was not draining the shower floor, basin and toilet tops not wiped they were wet.”

For the room, I got a promo of 835.00/night (2 nights stay), My room no. 216, I found the bathroom shower floor not draining well. As soon as I entered my room it smelled of stale urine. I went to the bathroom and saw the floor with water that did not drian well. The floor is made in such a way that shower water would accumulate by the door instead of going to the drain floor. The bathroom seemed newly cleaned or maybe not yet cleaned, because the toilet seat, lavatory basin and water tank reservoir of toilet were spattered with water drops.I had to tip toe to get the pail and "tabo" around the accumulated water on the floor by the door. Then had to splash the floor with water to wash the stale water that smelled of urine maybe the last occupant peed while showering and stunk the water on the floor.Housekeeping should have wiped dry basin, toilet tops and floor. It was disgusting and I had to always tiptoe around the water to use the toilet and basin the 2 days I stayed.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT......”

Great value and pleasant staff. The only complaint was that of the 6 meals we ate at their restaurant they messed up 5 of the orders. They need to pay attention to details of a food order better. Otherwise, a great stay and we will stay there next month also.

Affordable yet no hot water for shower and the elevator is not conducive for clients when going in and out of the said hotel.

Trash Hotel”

Pictures can be deceiving! This is how to give this trash hotel a review. All rooms from 1st floor is the worst i think cos if you are at the back side u can hear the noise made by room cleaner, banging the deck inside the room where they clean. Loud noise every corner, the flush of the toilet stucked up haha, the aircon is very noisy, then u can hear the water overflowing from the room top to the ground floor. The worst is the noise made by the laundry machine at the back of the hotel, its like a plane going to land very bad. The shower doesnt works properly. The noise starts early morning till late at night.The parking area had alot of garbage and very smelly. There is no telephone on the rooms in First floor where u can use to call for room service, complaint, and if ever u need to call outside. The only good is the location. THE worst ever.
