"Pai country hut is the story of how a Pai's local returned home after his studies in Chiang Mai and built this hotel which utilizes natural materials such as bamboo in its design. I love lying on the hammocks reading books. And do not overlook the swing under the tree close to the entrance that is lit up every night. And check out the book shelf - there's a surprise there for those who loook :) My only complaint would be that it was too hot without AC for me to sleep in the afternoon in this hottest period in Thailand in 60 years. "

"After reading all of the reviews, this place did not disappoint! It was in a perfect location. Only two minute walk from when you get off the bus and since Pai is so small, everything is near each other. This place is right off some of the main roads, which was perfect for noise. The room itself was one of the best we've come across for this kind of money. Usually you get what you pay for, but here you receive more. The room is very clean and has a nice homey feel to it. Beds were comfy, and had hot water and wifi. Maybe the only downside was lack of English channels for before bedtime. The woman who owns it is very nice, but doesn't speak the greatest English, but still manageable. Pai is quite small though, so it isn't even a problem. There is also a guy who owns a place called Vespai on the road and I would highly recommend renting scooters from him. He was incredibly helpful and nice, and even let us leave a deposit instead of our passports. There is also free breakfast at the home stay, nothing fancy, but for me enough food in the morning. Overall, definitely worth the money!"

"Location was smack-on, just a stone's throw away from the town centre - Walking Street, Pai Bus Station, White Buddha, etc. Super friendly staffs who were never lack of their sweet smiles and very courteous. The room was cosy and spacious. More importantly, the room was kept very tidy and clean. TV was from the olden days, but not a big issue. We booked the room without breakfast, but received a pleasant surprised when the staff informed us that we would get our breakfast the next morning. The breakfast, though not out-of-the-world, but was very fresh and delicious. Fresh fruits were served together with cheese and ham toast, with scrambled eggs. For yoga enthusiasts, you may want to join the morning yoga class (additional charge will incur). All in all, this is a highly recommended place when you visit Pai."

"Stayed here for 1 night after doing a motorbike ride from Chiang Mai to Pai, very tired and aching the private bungalow was the perfect place to rest. The food from the restaurant was lovely and the staff very kind. Unfortunately it rained just after we checked in and for the rest of the day so we weren’t able to make use of the pool but I would definitely recommend staying here during your time in Pai"

"This was by far my favourite place in Thailand.. both Pai itself and Breeze of Pai. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, the bungalow was absolutely adorable. It was clean and comfortable, what more do you need! We had only booked a fan room as the website didn't give us an option but were pleasantly surprised when our room had a brand new AC system that was SO quiet! They seem to be constantly bettering the place. There is free bananas and water fill up for quests, their small but quaint garden is nice to sit in too! I can't say enough about this place. It was the highlight of my trip to northern Thailand!"

"Ok so very nice hotel, my room was a king sized and included 2 towels , private bath too. The water heater didn’t work but Pai is hot so it’s ok. The STAFF is amazing, they gave me a ride into town my last day , i had to wake them up by knocking on their door at 6 am ish but they were so kind and service was great. Recommendations would be, investing in A/C for the pricier rooms, it’s not always cold in Pai specially this season. And also breakfast would be nice. Other than that, i would def stay and recommend! It’s a bit far from town, like 15-20 m walk, but you’ll rent a scooter either in town or in the hotel). Thank you guys!! "

"We were very fortunate to stay here 6 nights. We were able to negotiate a small discount because of the amount of nights we stayed, but we had to change rooms a few times (this is because they were fully booked most of the nights we were there). But because we got to stay in several bungalows, we have the unique ability to review this place as an entire property versus just one bungalow. We were incredibly impressed with all of the bungalows. Very clean, extremely comfortable, friendly staff, good wifi, all great. Feels like a 5-star resort at a 2-star price. Incredible value!"

"Sabaydee Hotel is a great budget hotel located in Walking Street just up from the Pai Bus Station ... we had a twin bed room on the top floor (2 sets of 15 stairs) that could be a problem if you have mobility issues ... very nice clean room and bed linen with small flat screen tv and also very fast free wifi ... the owner does not allow alcohol in the rooms"

"You can find alot of beautiful, serene and unwinding places around Pai and this is no exception. I'm writing this as I lay in the porch hammock next to our cosy chalet, complete with a bamboo shower. For no more than 300 baht you truly cannot believe how such an amazing place can be so cheap. However, this is Pai and this stunning guesthouse only compliments its epic landscape."
