Clean and efficient”

I have stayed here multiple times when traveling through Phoenix and found it to be a good value. The rooms are clean, although they feel a bit sterile from the lighting, but well laid out. For a traveler coming through and needing certain proximity to the airport without being right there it is great. Not posing itself as a luxury hotel, but comfortable to stay at. Having wireless, microwaves, fridges, and good hot water with good pressure is important to me. They use dispenser soaps/shampoos etc in the bathrooms and showers which I appreciate to cut down on waste etc. Fresh cookies in the lobby, breakfast, laundry, and fitness area helps this rating. From a personal standpoint, I wish they felt a bit more warm but nothing I would complain about. The price (online) was good as well.

Nice stay”

Close to Sky Harbor airport, free parking, free breakfast, free WiFi, clean. The only negative is the scent of their shampoo, soap and lotion. It all smells like strong disinfectant. Other than that, great stay.

Minutes from Sky Harbor”

I always stay there when going out of SKY harbor. Free transportation increases the value. The rooms are small but well appointed. Free breakfast and a little even repast so going out is not necessary. For a business traveler it is ideal.

Everything was excellent ”

First of all, Vanessa, a front person was excellent. Every time I went and asked for something, she always kindly responded how I wanted or even more than that. The hotel gave us rides not only to the airport but also to the mall and baseball stadium. Breakfast was good too. What made me very happy was a bagged breakfast they gave me on the day my flight was too early to have breakfast there. I thought I was not going to have a breakfast because their breakfast starts at 7 or so and I had to leave at 4am. But when I checked out, I received a bag with some food in it. It was a surprise. Overall, my stay was very pleasant and I definitely will go back whenever I go to Phoenix again.

We have stayed here many times. Very quite very comfortable. Very clean. The staff are the best especially the front desk staff. Extremely helpful kind and ready to serve. I feel like family. The Manger Jay is the best!!! You’ll never go wrong choosing the GreenTree inn. I feel very safe and there is always 24/7 someone to help you or just smile.

After a minor issue with our first room, we were moved up to a suite for the same price. Not the nicest location but very convenient to Sky Harbor Airport.

Excellent stay at GreenTree Inn”

I was greatly impressed! Everything about this hotel is superb! The staff, the HUGE room with an incredibly comfortable bed.. The staff went beyond the call of duty to help me in anyway they could. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Phoenix area.

We stayed here for 3 days. The location is right off HWY 10, which is close to the airport and everything else. The staff is nice and the breakfast was awesome. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Phoenix.

Convenient location and great staff”

I stayed there twice within 10 days (each time for a night). What I really loved about the hotel was their location (near the airport) and the staff. I had accidentally left my bag (wallet, passports, etc.) at the cafeteria and panicked (this had not happened to me before) when I found out after about 10-15 minutes. However, the staff had noticed it and kept it safe for me. This was right at the beginning of my trip and I was meant to be on the road for 3 weeks in AZ and Mexico. I am grateful to them. There is a small gym, which I didn't get a chance to try out. During my second stay, I used their laundromat. Very convenient -- I would have carried fewer clothes had I known in advance. Overall experience was good. My only request is to put more lights in the rooms. It is difficult to see anything that drops onto the dark carpets. Cheers.

Did the job, but otherwise, meh.”

After a week of traveling around Arizona, we needed some place near the airport to crash before an early morning flight. Had never stayed at a GreenTree Inn, but the price was decent and the proximity to the airport was good. We didn't check in until around 9pm and had to be up before 5am. The employee at the front desk was helpful and friendly. When we mentioned needing to leave for the airport at 5am, she offered to have a grab and go breakfast bag ready for us in the morning. The room was ok--we were on the 4th floor and overlooked the pool. There was a group of teenage boys at the pool and making a lot of noise (it almost sounded like our window was open), so we were hoping we'd be able to get some sleep. The boys quieted down later and we got our few hours of sleep. The beds were comfortable and we picked up our breakfast bags at the front desk (an apple, a granola bar and a packaged muffin). Again, the hotel served it's purpose for a quick night of sleep.

Surprisingly nice”

Surprisingly nice for the price and convenience to the Phoenix Airport. Helpful staff. Sorry we had to miss the great-looking breakfast since we left for the airport at 5:00 am, but were given a "to go bag breakfast" to take with us. Nice touch.

Booked Early”

We prepaid for a week for room before leaving our home state over 2000 miles away. After driving for days and with kids we were just ready to shower, relax, and go to bed. However, at the start the lady at the desk had an issue with my card that we use for traveling and didn't want to accept it but after I said that no issue was seen when money was taking and after she finally focused on us and not talking to everyone else she finally gave us our keys. We get to the room and the TV doesn't work, room was not room we asked for, outside before coming in we saw people hanging around that made us feel unsafe. We were unhappy with the bathroom. A young guy came up to try and fix the tv(he was the only friendly person) but he couldnt fix the tv and said he would get us a new room. I appreciated his efforts but the next room was worst. One bed was almost to the floor and the other was okay but let's just say we found another place the next day and cancelled the room the remainder of that stay. Getting a refund of deposit the hotel took was hard to get back and let's mentioned they charged me another fee even when we left. I had to call serveral times in a 10 days and finally 17 days later we got the money back. I called agoda to get refund and they were super nice and the refund process was simple and I received refund in two days. This is why I book with agoda. I would not recommend staying at GreenTree Inn Phoenix Sky Harbor.

I left AirPods in the room after the hotel had already shuttles us to the airport. They went in the room, grabbed them, and brought them to the airport before my flight took off. So grateful for the gracious service! Highly recommend!!

Super clean & comfortable”

Staff was friendly & thoughtful. The room was large & comfortable, it's one of the cleanest places we've stayed, and there was extra of all the necessities. The only "complaint" was that there was only 1 towel hook in the restroom. The pool was nice & clean, extra towels were set out for guests and it was well fenced for safety. We missed the breakfast, but heard it was good. The work-out room & guest laundry are convenient, the surroundings were nice and the parking lot was newly paved. We were told by locals that the hotel is not in the best area. It is next to noisy apartments & busy roads, but it was very secure and quiet. It is easy to miss though. Just as a tip, if west on Broadway, go past 48th, the driveway is through a store parking lot immediately after the Shell gas station. If south on 48th, there's only one entry just before Broadway. Very nice place, will definitely stay again!

Great value, close to airport. Very clean rooms, beds super comfortable! Free airport shuttle, thanks to Ronnie for the car rental return tip! Friendly and efficient reception staff. Loved the wine and cheese time! and a decent breakfast. What is there not to like about Green Tree!!

Recommend”

We asked for a quiet room and got one. It was spacious and well decorated; beds were comfortable. My only real complaint was the lack of towel bars in the bathroom; shower was nice. It was convenient to the airport and quiet. Hot tub and pool were great! Had a nice complimentary breakfast in a comfortable space. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Exceptional”

I was a bit nervous staying at a "brand" I've never heard of, but with spring training going on it was in the price range that I needed... The staff when checking in was super friendly, VERY quick. I had a suite, was trying to enjoy some alone time, and loved that the pool was heated and I was very happy about the firepit area, loved being able to sit out there at night and enjoy some quiet. Staff was always helpful and courteous. Checkout was quick and efficient. I was also surprised at the quality of the food in the morning. I'd definitely recommend.

Good, not spectacular, some deficits”

Convenient to airport with pleasant and prompt shuttle--remember to call when ready. Shuttle to nearby places helps as little is in walking distance. King suite generous in size, basic in amenities. Exterior windows too dirty to enjoy any outside viewing. Microwave but no glasses, utensils or dishware. Breakfast just so-so. Standard fare of fake eggs but seasoned with fresh herbs; "out" of yogurt, fresh fruit, cream cheese. Dull white bread and cheap pastries. Nice touch with salsa and shredded cheese for eggs. Juice n waffles with fruit compote! Coffee bar not tended during the day...cold and old by late morning. Pool out doors coolish and hot tub with weak jets close to smoking area had gravel/grit on bench areas. Noisy in business work area adjacent to the lobby longe and TV. Staff pleasant and efficient. Sticky about late check-out. Little aircraft noise; clean fitness basics and laundry.

Nice hotel”

The location to the airport was pefect for our trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only con I had was that the bathtub would not shut off completely and dripped.
