Very Lenient”

Since I checked-in very late (around past-11 PM), I asked to have late check-out at 2PM and the staff approved my request with no additional charge (you will notice that other properties in Puerto Princesa will be inconsiderate and will strictly implement their late check out policy with additional charge even when you checked-in very late). Thank you for being very considerate, Grande Vista Hotel! As always, room was clean, food was great and staff are very accommodating. Wifi connection improves a lot. Keep up the great job!

Homey and hospitable”

We had a pleasant stay at Grande Vista. It is an appropriate place to relax and rest because the environment is homey coupled with a friendly, helpful, courteous and hospitable staff. It may not be as luxurious as a five-star hotel but the basic necessities in a hotel are there: good food at My Sister's; efficient room service; clean room which is fixed everyday; wi-fi connection; airport transfer. Most of all, it is conveniently located within the center of the city. From the hotel, one can go to good places within Puerto Prinsesa by just riding a tricycle for a minimum fare. The staff were likewise very helpful in arranging tours (city, Underground River) and guiding us in finding places which we should visit. In my next travel to Palawan, I won't hesitate to book again at Grande Vista.

One week stay”

We chose Grande Vista for our stay in Palawan and were not disappointed. It is a well positioned hotel and the staff are all very helpful in sorting out problems and assisting in arranging tours and activities in the wider Puerto Princessa area. Unfortunately the rooms are a little run down in places, though this should not detract from the hotel overall as the wider facilities are of a good standard.

the grand vista hotel is very clean and nice hotel. the staff very accommodating, everytime you ask for a help they assist you with a big smile, very friendly, one thing that i like in grand vista hotel they have a room for people with disabilty. i highly recommended grand vista hotel. i'm very happy to spend my family vacation at grand vista hotel.

Very friendly staff and good value”

We stayed here during our first trip to Puerto Princesa and the Philippines. The staff are very friendly and organised a number of tours for us. For the cost, the hotel is quite good, the rooms are large and bathroom is fine. It also has free wifi which is excellent. There is a pool however we didn't use it as it is only a mini-pool and really only suitable for kids - although the hotel clearly states in it's ads that it is a 'mini-pool' so no problem there at all. Their top deck has some lovely views over Puerto Princesa. Overall a good-value small hotel for a short stay, and breakfast was included. The only little tip to the hotel is please provide standard instant black coffee in the rooms and not the '3-in-1' sachets which are full of sugar and quite rank!!

Grande Vista was a great place to stay”

i would recommend grande vista for anyone staying in palawan, the only downer about the hotel is the accompanying restaurant had very ordinary food.

Our stay at Grande Vista was enjoyable. The front office staff were very helpful. The breakfast which comes with the room reservations was not particularly exciting. The rooms are of a good size and the programs on the in room television was good.

Amazing beach and friendly people”

Our stay in Grande Vista was really nice. We enjoyed it and will go back there definitely. Really clean and modern hotel. Staff really nice and helpful with everything. This hotel deserve more stars. i will give it a 4stars. Good location.

Nice and clean hotel!”

This hotel is a great place for stop over after a long journey from el nido. They have a free shuttle to the airport. Nice and well maintained hotel. Room is clean with comfy bed. Staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The price is just reasonable enough, and don't expect lot of amenities. Again, when you're in palawan... you spent most of your day in a tour or swimming on the beach.

simple city hotel”

Airport transfer is free but the driver will make a pitstop at a souvenir place before heading to the hotel for check in. The items here are a bit more expensive than other souvenir places. The hotel is small but relatively new. Our room wasn't so bad. It was clean. There were just a few ants on the wall near the bed. Breakfast was part of the package as well. The food choices were limited though. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's near the airport, well-known restaurants (like Ka Lui's) and city sites. If you're planning to take a city tour of Puerto Princesa, this hotel is a good choice for you.

Convenient, relaxing, comfortable”

We used this hotel as a stop over before our flight out and were very pleased. The hotel isn't far from the airport and is situated a little far from local attractions, so maybe not as convenient if you wanted to see the sights. The pool is modest, but nice. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Roof top viewing area was a great place to relax and watch the sun set. Overall, the hotel looked nice and modern without having a huge price tag. Wifi was fast and reach easily to all places in the hotel. Definitely would recommend it to people looking for a place to stay before their flight. *Free airport shuttle!*

Grande Vista made our stay memorable”

We definitely got more than what we paid for! Everything was a breeze from check-in to housekeeping requests to check-out to airport shuttle. Facilities were clean and the ambiance was peaceful. We definitely love the restaurant at the rooftop beside the mini infinity pool overlooking Palawan. Everything is either a tricycle ride away or just a walking distance. Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back.

I can not ask for more. Even when we have a problem in some of the tours in Palawan, staff find a way to help you. They are not only friendly but also heplful. And hotel is still in great condition.

From the kind and warm welcome until checkout, the staff were truly amazing. The hotel is actually nicer than it appears in the photos. Great cable, a/c, and somewhat spotty and disappointing wifi. Highly recommend this hotel !!!

New budget hotel”

This new budget hotel is considered worth for the payment we made. The hotel is new hence the room and area are still tidy and clean. Breakfast choices are very limited. Staff are helpful and fiendly. Gebnerally you will find people from Palawan honest and friendly.

Comfortable”

Excellent hotel, clean, modern and staff excellent. Puertpo Princesa is a clean city with good tourist sports nearby. The Underground River is wonderful to visit.
