Amazing hotel ever!!! ”
First of all, they welcomed us wif cool welcome drink and they already now my name (the receptionist had a six sense i think) very2 nice and funny staff..love them, no deposit when check in, really fast check in i ever know, when come inside the suite duplex family my childs said WOW how can the hotel had a stairs to the main room? Really really best comfy i ever stayed, the bath room, the bath rope, the clean of the room, the amenities etc ITS PERFECT!!! ✔Near to central plaza and BIG C supermarket, my child wont go out from hotel whole nite, so we order SUPERVISTA meals SUPERB!!✔ dessert,main course and drink only B180 . 2 day 1 nite the great experience in chiangrai we visit Blue &white amazing temple,Giant KuanYin ,clock tower and long neck karen village we meet young 4 years ladyname Bosha how adorable..thanks Chiangrai and Grand Vista ,we will come back again someday...🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾kap khun kha ...(sorry for mistake spelling)

Brand new place with lots of potential”
I've been to Chiang Rai several times, but this is the first time I chose to stay at this new hotel. It is located just opposite of Central Plaza which makes it very convenient for mall shopping and food. Here's what I think about the Grand Vista.... Pros: - Room is exceptionally clean - Room and bathroom is large - Very good aircon and hot shower - Very friendly and helpful staff - Free breakfast (but only average quality at best) - Value for money Cons: - Rooms that are facing the main road will hear some traffic (occasionally noisy vehicles at night). I should have opted the pool facing ones, Suggestion: - The room would be more comfortably if there is a high back single seater sofa (more than enough space to accommodate this). - Perhaps provide hourly free shuttle service to the city centre and a few stops would attract more guests to stay here.

Best in Chiang Rai”
There are few hotels in Chiang Rai that meet a Westerners expectations. Grand Vista does. Security is excellent, room is clean. Breakfast was Thai style with a special Chiang Rai speciality soup, vegetables/salad and egg station. Front desk staff was extremely kind and English was well spoken. For the rate I'd recommend this hotel as the #1 in CR. I recommend booking a back room as the front faces the highway and back-side is quiet.

A Good Experience”
The hotel is in an area of shopping malls and the center of Chiang Rai is around 1.5km away but the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the main in town attaractions. If you have a car, it is ideally placed to get to some of the top attractions around Chiang Rai within less than half an hour in many instances. The hotel is new, very comfortable and has an excellent restaurant with exceptionally low prices. So inexpensive and if such quality that my Thai wife insisted on eating there for most meals! A nice pool with an excellent area for small children, attentive and helpful staff there was little to criticize. Breakfast does cater to Asian tastes mainly but the omelettes were good. Try and get a room towards the back of the hotel as a very busy road runs past the front. Having said that, we were at the front and the soundproofing kept all the noise out. All in all a very good hotel and would stay again. The whole family enjoyed it.

Excellent facilities, staff on learning curve”
The hotel is brand new (so new the pool and many meeting rooms are still under construction) with exclusively modern facilities. It's located 10 minutes from central Chiang Rai, which is a ways in such a small city, and getting a tuk-tuk requires you to cross the freeway to the City Center. The hotel restaurant was clean and priced well, the rooms were a nice size and there was plenty of hot water (which has been an issue across our Thailand travels). Unfortunately the staff is still learning hotel hospitality. My wife and I were given a 2 bed room despite arriving several hours before check-in. We worked with the hotel staff to book a motorbike for the following day but never received a call from the front desk. When I went down to check they told me they had sold out and pointed me to a location in the middle of town. I had to take a tuk-tuk from the City Center mall into town, so I lost the standard convenience of renting through the hotel. During check-out, I asked for an airport transfer to stop at the motorbike rental to pick me up, but they refused and had me take a taxi. All in all, it's a modern hotel with great facilities, but the distance and our experience with the staff meant we wouldn't stay again.

Honesty beyond compare!!!”
After staying in the hotel for three days, we failed to empty the room safe when we left and realized that we left our money inside only when we were already at Chiang Rai airport on the next leg of our tour. Unable to speak the language we made frantic calls to a friend in Bangkok ands requested her to make inquiries on our behalf unsure of whether or not we will still get our money back. To much of our surprise, we got everything back!!! The money will be sent by bank transfer to our friend in Bangkok. All of the complicated arrangements were taken care of by Ms Kamontip, a gracious lady at the Front Desk. Thank you very much Ms Kamontip!!!! The hotel itself is centrally located, Very clean! The room service food had generous servings and was very delicious!!! The staff are all cheerful, very solicitous and polite. We are definitely recommending the hotel to all who will visit Chiang Rai. You will surely be well taken care of. In more ways than one.

Modern hotel close to shopping centers”
The hotel is located along the main road into Chiang Rai, in walking distance to Central Plaza and Big C shopping centers, so very good if that's what you're looking for, especially if you have your own transport so you can also easily get into the town center. There's plenty of parking space available as well. Room are spacious, quiet and well equipped. The breakfast offered good choice and food is tasty. There's a nice swimming pool and a fitness center. Only problem we found was that the door doesn't close on it's own and has an annoying beep when not closed, which is good but also disturbing, as we had it twice that someone forgot to close the door properly when they checked out in the morning and we ended up going out and closing the door for them to stop the noise. Also the light in the room cannot be switched off completely, there's still a dim light on the ceiling above the aircon which cannot be turned off!

Great location, exceptional staff, affordable prices”
We had originally booked two nights but opted to extend our stay on the basis of the experience. Pleasant staff who were very helpful and had a high level understanding of hospitality. Situated next to Central plaza shopping mall where you can access high-end retailers, cinema, coffee shops etc. The hotel provides the standard fare of amenities, gym could be bigger but you can’t have it all. Breakfast was good and included within the price. As a frequent traveller to Chiang Rai for over a decade, I would certainly recommend this hotel in favour of other accommodation across the city. I read some criticism of location however most of the city centre accommodation is of lower grade and not worth considering, in my opinion.

Brand new hotel with super nice staff.”
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Grand Vista. The hotel is open just 1 month and there are still some work being done (the pool), but my stay was great. Everything in the room was brand new and of high quality. Super comfortable! Located right on the main highway in town I thought the traffic noise would be an issue but in the end it was no problem. Directly across from the big Central Plaza Mall - there are numerous food court options that are infinitely better than the night market downtown. Also Big C mini-mall next door - useful when giving directions to taxi and tuk tuk drivers. I would prefer this hotel than most of the older properties in town.

This hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The rooms are amazing, the staff is so helpful and joyous. The daily provided breakfast was delicious and there are so many options! They have massages on site and provided a coupon for one massage for each guest in each room. The staff helps you with organizing transport and gives you great advice about the dos and donts of Chiang Rai. Don't pass this place up!!

Booked this hotel for 5 nights and enjoyed every minut of it. No regrets at all. I can certainly recommend this hotel. Very kind staff, very nice room (we had a jacuzzi suite). Very good breakfasr buffet.. Top tip; do try the hotel restaurant. You will be positively surprised. Next trip to Chiang Rai will be in this hotel again.

Overall Grand Vista is a comfortable modern hotel, simple and small but charming and effective. While the hotel’s simplicity might make it somewhat generic for some, its services are exceptional; with delicious food (although a greater diversity of the breakfast would be much appreciated) and heartwarming service from the concierge and waiters. Modern Hotel in Great Location”
This relatively new hotel is situated away from the downtown Chiang Rai area. But its located right beside the Big C hypermarket and opposite Central Plaza shopping mall, making it very convenient for shopping. a bit of distance from the night walking streets though. Room was very spacious and breakfast spread was good.

This hotel is worth staying. The room is nice and clean. Its location is very convenient to go to the heart of the city. Central Chiangrai is just on the opposite side of the road. Breakfast is awesome. Try the hot croissants if you have a chance.

Good location next to main road . Bad thing is if you want to go to city center , quite far a bit . 10 min driving . Standard facilities with big room. Price may a bit high comparing to old hotel in chiangrai.

I will recommend this place to stay in Chiang Rai. Although the location is abit far from the central, you can take songthaew to the central easily. The Hotel also provide shuttle service to visit the night mkt. The staffs in the Hotel are very kind and helpful. This is a hotel that worth staying.
