From my 1st arrival I was looked after superbly, upgraded to deluxe on my arrival complimentary, after my initial 6 days I then booked direct at hotel and stated another 7 days, again upgraded room to deluxe and privelage access all complimentory. Excellent stay, food was very good, great selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner options were very good, the unlimited Dim Sum at Golden Dragon amazing, steaks at Veranda were cooked to perfection. Will not hesitate to stay again on my next visit to Da Nang.

We travelled to Danang this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed at the hotel with such hospitality from all the staff, and our room was upgraded to a deluxe room on 17th floor with spectacular view as a gift for our anniversary. Ms Lan in the Privilege lounge was great! She looked after us very well and eating breakfast there and evening drinks and canapés were an added advantage of being in a Deluxe King room. Swimming pool and spa facilities could do with some work either regarding facilities or staff. Location was quiet with good views of the Dragon Bridge.

Room sound proofing is decent. Miserable small swimming pool. Most service stuffs are friendly and polite except for some chefs in the restaurant. Breakfast spread is good and food are nice. But food is expensive.

Superb value for money”
After 3 nights' stay in a Hoi An hotel, our stay in Mercure Da Nang was a welcomed change. Even though both hotels were priced the same, Mercure seemed like a 5-star hotel! They put us on the 16th floor and we had an amazing view of Da Nang. Our room was gorgeous and clean. Service that we received from duty manager, Hai, was splendid too. He was so patient and so helpful in responding to our many queries. It's only a $3 cab ride to town so location was really not a factor at all. Am really glad I didn't pay thrice the price to stay at Da Nang resorts located much further away. Will definitely be back!

i had a really pleasant time in mercure danang! i would have love to stay longer. i spent a night in a superior room. i arrived at noon & was given the room (15th floor) right away. the room looked chic & new; overlooking the beautiful city & han river. pillows & sheets were crisp & clean. love the glass partition concept for the washroom. everything looked so inviting! i was tempted to spent the whole day indoor but decided to venture into the city in the afternoon. when i returned in the evening, i was surprised to find the room made-up. and there was a little mercure danang dark chocolate left by the bedside. :) that night, i made an order for american breakfast to be served in-room at 7am. the next morning at 7am, my door bell rang & my breakfast was served. the bellboy, frontdesk officer, f&b staff & driver were all friendly & often smiling. would definitely love to return someday. highly recommended.

I recommend this hotel to any international guest as it is very safe, clean, quiet and central to the Danang city market. The hotel shuttle will pick you up from the airport, even at midnight! They will arrange to take you to the Lotte supermarket, the shopping mall, the airport, as well as the beach. If there is another place you need to go, they will happily arrange a taxi for you. I recommend you pay the little extra and get access to the Privilege lounge on the 21F. They have all-you-can-eat/drink breakfast menu, the BEST cafe latte in Vietnam, all served up by a very special lady who can speak English well! They also have a 5-7 pm snack time offering free drinks and refreshments. It is definitely worth it as there are no vending machines in Vietnam and the service is EXCELLENT! Get the shuttle to the shopping mall, then go over a few streets to the Han Market. Amazing place. If you want to buy "aozai" go to the second floor of this market to Booth #44 XUAN. Xuan made me four "aozai" in the two days I was there. Fast service. There is a large shopping mall about 1.5 km walk from the Han Market. It is called the "Big C". Back packs must be left at a check in counter. Don't carry your valuables. Leave them in your room safe at the Mercure. Take a 40 minute taxi ride to Ba Na. It should cost around $35 dollars round trip for 4 hours, if you find a good deal. Tallest cable car in the world according to the Guinness book.

I had a one-night-only stay at Grand Mercure Danang, but I am really impressed by a comfortable and luxury room with a very beautiful view over Han River. Through the hotel window, I loved to see the night coming over Danang City. Especially, I love the purple and light green tone ò the hotel decoration. I will stay again at this hotel.

All as expected of a Mercure”
There is nothing negative to say about the hotel condition, facilities, or service. The only thing from my point of view is the location. I generally prefer to stay in the middle of a city so everthing is instantly accessible. Downtown Danang is walkable from the Mercure, but is a good 20 mins, and not an interesting walk at that. Taxis are instantly available from the hotel, but it's nice to be able to duck in and out of your room as the mood takes you. For those who like peace and tranquility, the location is perfect.
