Worse! ”
Staff was the worse ever. We booked and already paid for king bed room with bathube and they gave us different room. When we complain, they make us waiting long and decided to handling another cust. They didnt help with our stuff and no smiling faces whatsoever when answer our handling. Then after 30mnts they suggest us to just accept the room which is not as per our booked, price and facilities. We reject, and they said is up to us but its not our fault because room that we paid already sold to other. How could? We already paid. So then we moved to another hotel. Never ever again to this hotel

it was always a pleasure to stay at the grand elite hotel. everytime i go to pekanbaru, i always stay at this hotel. it has a comfort room and nice service too. not to far walking distance from the district area,and you can always get a taxi easily by the help from the hotel staff. overall, i was pleased to stay there and surely will come back to visit grand elite whenever i go to pekanbaru.

This has been my first time to Pekanbaru after many years. This hotel had offered me a very nice environment, room, nearby eateries and spa facilities. It is located beside the main road of Jalan Riau but filtering off the noise of the busy street. Though the room’s lighting is not very bright but the soft and comfortable bed makes up for it. The hotel staff we friendly and helpful during checking in and checking out.

One of the better business hotel”
One of the best business hotel in Pekanbaru. The only thing about booking from Agoda is that some times the hotel does not receive the booking at all and it take some time for the checking in. This is not the fault of the hotel and Agoda should improve on this as I have been a frequent user of Agodo and it is not the first time that the hotel is unable to find my transaction.

Used to be Quality hotel and they change it to grand elite which i think is now managed locally. The hotel building and rooms are huge and bigger than average, however big doesn't mean better. The room furniture and amenity was dated. bathroom can use better lighting considering that this is 4 stars hotel. The AC in my room was terribly hot (not working well) and what made things even worse was the response that i got when we asked them to check on it and asked the front desk to move us to another room. It was 10pm in the evening and the maintenance guy (with no proper manner of communication) asked me to wait while they tried to cool down the AC compressor and the front desk officer seemed didnt care at all. to make long story short, at almost 11pm (after some arguments and exhausted conversation) we were finally rescued by their hotel HR (yes human resource) that was doing her round checking on security around the hotel and she moved us to another room within seconds. Such a simple issue, handled so un-professionally by their front desk and maintenance. i would not recommend this hotel for anyone after this stay.

Friendly staff & comfortable room. Very pleasant!”
Everything run very smooth here. I ask them to pick me up at the airport (additional charge) and not more than 40 minutes, I arrived at the hotel. Greeted by friendly staff, have a very comfortable room for just a night, and drive back to the airport. It's very nice to stay here.

the room size is acceptable; reasonable price; friendly staff, but language is a problem; the breakfast is normal; located nearby a disco, so it is noisy if you stay room near the disco. many restaurant and shop surrounding the hotel, no problem for lunch/dinner. overall it is good and acceptable.

Comfortable. Although i would prefer room which i can see outside view. The room i was given does not have window, so it was very dim. I checked with hotel and realized that those with windows are categorizes as Deluxe Room, so i hope agoda could update for future guests. Hotel is clean and staff are helpful. Breakfast choice are average. The noise from nearby disco/club was really loud.

I was there for 2 nights. Gr8 service, gr8 room and bed, but the shower is slipery and kinda old. There are gym facilities and apa. But the swimming pool is to small. Overall i find my stay there quite pleasant

Enjoyed my stay”
Room was fine. Breakfast buffet was fantastic the first morning and not fantastic the second. I asked for an omelet and was served a cold hard mess. Inedible. I told the staff who went about his day without even clearing the defective food. 10 minutes and no replacement was delivered. I went to the front and asked for a manager. Was told no manager on duty. Really . So I would say inconsistent is the key word here. They need better training for staff.
