Hotel staff were very friendly & welcoming / Hotel Room & facilities are satisfying & value for money / FreeMorning breakfast was very delicious especially the Char Koay Teow prepared upon ordering, it's a must try! :). Would recommend this hotel to everyone.. Good job Good Luck Inn!!

Good Luck Inn is a good option if you want to be in the Ayer Hitam area. This is an area full of local colour and also close to Penang Hill and the Kek Lok Si temple. I was impressed by the spacious room, nice clean bathroom, and comfortable bedding. There is also a nice desk for those who need to work. The staff were also helpful and attentive. The price may be a little steep for a hotel without facilities however, and the location can be problematic because of the jam at the wet market which can make it difficult for transport to get to you (because of the one-way system). The complimentary breakfast was rather disappointing by Penang standards.

Is 5mins walk to Air Itam market, at the foot of the Kek Lok Si and less than 10mins car ride to Penang Hill. Currently this is the only hotel in air itam. Small carpark with limited parking lots (only 13)

The hotel is located very near to Pagoda, they provide you parking and also the rooms are very clean.

Short trip to penang”
Overall still acceptable. The hotel location is good, walking distance to many restaurants. Booked a room with balcony, and see the Kek Lok Si temple. The sound proof is weak, can clearly hear people walking on corridor, and others close the room door as well. The hotel breakfast is normal only, recommend to have breakfast outside, alot of nice foods surrounded there.

Worst stay ever”
Room with super poor sound proof, the whole night until morning time I can hear clearly when someone talking, laughing, walking, and even close their door. *bing bing bang bang* horrible. Cant really sleep well the whole night! No toothbrush, shampoo, hand soap provided, definitely not qualified as 3 stars hotel. The room does not look like advertised photo. Will not recommend this hotel to my friends!

Room so far so good only, TV unable to watch, air-condition remote remote no function, poor sound proof, didn't order any food but somehow the delivery man can anyhow go in hotel knock the door during midnight 2am?! Anyway,I will not visit the hotel again!
