I didn't expect something so nice in this location, but I was very surprised. They have very nice view to the sea, wifi is strong and fast, room spacious and clean. The only thing was the weak pressure of the shower. Otherwise I like this stay very much.

Booked 2 rooms with sea view. Given 1 swamp view 1 rooftop view. Poorly maintained. The window area on the outside is full of bird poop. Looks horrible. Rooms not well clean. Lobby area filled with clutter. Would not recommend.

Open the white blanket to check before bed, there was a long hair on the bed. So not sure if they did change the bed cover sheet! First ignore this matter. Get into the restroom The sanitary bowl was not flushed completely from whoever before my arrival. For awhile, the rest room smell up...I spray the water to clean all over the sanitary bowl... sleep time....power was cut around 4.30am I was awoken from the badly smelly of the restroom and noises from room up floor. There are two beds in the room, one bed next to the restroom wall...extremely bad smelly from the restroom till made me awoken...after no air con from power cut .... The room’s photos vs actual room actual hotel look...not exactly the same.... Not recommend.

New hotel and some confusion about finding it because it has signs for both Golden Beach Resort ( original name ) and Golden Beach Boutique Resort ( new name). Other than that it was great. Good location across from the beach. Views in every direction. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good restaurants near by. Super clean. Breakfast is fine. Bicycle and motorcycle rentals.

No Boutique, No Resort, No Beach and Overpriced”
As so often in Thailand, the name of this simple hotel is misleading. Nothing "boutique" about this simple, big box, nothing "resort" - it's just one big building without even a square inch of grass or garden. There is a beach across the busy street but it's not suitable for swimming or relaxing (during low tide, there is a dirty sandy stretch under the concrete siding along the busy street). The often mentioned view is from the four deluxe rooms on the front side of the building. The front part of the hotel is newly built but even after only half a year, it is getting old (drain not working, toilet wobbly, sink piping leaking, a/c rattling...). Rooms are small and furnishing is simple; beds very soft but linen is uncomfortable (thin 100% polyester). Breakfast is sooo bad. The hotel uses the cheapest of the cheapest appliances, furniture and food items, and this shows. Guests typically seem to stay for one night on their way to somewhere else. Would be okay at sevenhundred baht or so.

An old building seems to have been renovated into a "boutique" hotel. the front and the rooms, a little bit. The air con is cold and the view is perfect. But it's still a bit expensive considering all the issues I had. I expected an included breakfast from the room description but 830B does not. -Lift didn't work and nobody offered to help carry bags -paper thin walls -hot water has low pressure but it's possible to mix streams with another cold water -beach under renovation (2022) need to walk 200 meters -you get 1 small bottle of soap and 1 toilet roll : but staff will kindly give more -stairs had garbage that was still there in the morning -full garbage cans still there in the morning -staff or guests talking very loudly heard in the rooms -spring mattress will dig into your back but we still slept well because we're not very big people. still better than a rock hard one. +nice view, friendly shops around +weekend market 1.5km walk +indoor parking

Große saubere Zimmer, schöner Blick auf Meer, Berge und Mangrovenfluss. Laute Klimaanlage. Sicheres Parken. Leider kann man unmittelbar am Hotel nicht baden, das Wasser ist wohl zu schmutzig. Kein Strand, nur eine kaum fertiggstellte Promenade.
