i stay only 1 night in here. but have a good impression. the staff is very welcome, and informatif The room is big, the Pillow is fit to me, the wifi in room is fast, the minus point is I found a couple of black spot in carpet inside the room And the Soap in shower room is empty. Maybe the staff forgot to refill it. the Breakfast i found is good, have a lot variety, the staff is really helpful too. overall i satisfied with my stay in this hotel. and i will stay again in this hotel if i go to surabaya. regards Anthony setiawan

Surrounded by good food and also places to hang out. We booked this hotel twice before and after our road trip. Travelling with a toddler and baby, the room is spacious to roam around. Definitely back to this hotel again. Do note for exclusive pumping mother, the fridge not so cold.

I like the location and staff. I think the cleanliness of the hotel room and corridor can be improved. The carpet in the room and outside the room is terrible. The bathroom is mouldy. It’s a pity considering that just a few years ago it was opened. I could still remember the soft opening of the hotel. We stayed for a night and it was immaculate. I hope the management read this and improve the cleanliness

As of this writing, hotel is not bad. However, interior need to be upgrade in the following : No table for work. Available table seems to be for ladies make up. Not sufficient power points for laptop; Were staying 2 nights, and were moved due to smells of smoke on the first night. However, moving to different room was not much different. Nevertheless, I must praise for the following : pool was super clean (perhaps not many users?), and breakfast was good (for local - lots of choices of food), and staff were superb !! Location is not bad, as access to airport via toll (express way);

Not value for money if you buy food in hotel bcos much expensive than average 5 stars hotel... not make sense price they was stated. Once enough for me to stay there. The Original hotel was called Rich Palace then now become Golden Tulip take over their business .... Thats all.

Rich Palace hotel trumps in terms of luxury of room space, comfortable beds and housekeeping is generally good. However, one can start to see the weariness of the hotel from stained sheets to permanent marks on the carpet. My accompanying friend who had a separate room, showered in cold water as she was already moved once and did not wish to relocate. My room was missing certain amenities which was evidently present in her's. Nevertheless, for the discounted price paid, it was a comfortable stay, value-for-money and staff were polite.

Good Hotel, but no beer”
the hotel is OK, the rooms and decorations are nostalgia but up to date facilities in the rooms. However I expect for a 4- or 5 star international hotel, that they also serve alcoholic drinks. International customers count on this service. If not call yourself a non-alcoholic hotel . They then know and can later decide to book or not. Even an innocent beer is not served in day-time. Therefore for me and my international customers this first visit to this hotel is also the last.

Unpleasant surprises ”
There were 3 of us, I was almost 70, my wife was not so far from me, and our son was 35. We arrived at 1630, tired from a long travel time from Milan to visit our friend in Surabaya and hoping to rest before dinner at 1900 with them. To our dismay, our booked 2 non smoking rooms were NOT even ready!! We were offered SMOKING rooms instead and told that if we didn't take them, we would have to wait for uncertain time 😱😱 After much pressing, they agreed to show us the smoking rooms first. Unfortunately, after checking, they were not properly cleaned. They are at SMOKING floor (because the whole floor smells smoke once we were out from the lift) and rooms didn't smell any better. To cut the stories short: After much "debate" and "threatening" the staff that we would move out if our booked rooms were not ready within minutes, wo finally got our booked rooms at different floor. Thanks to our friend. All this while , the staffs showed no other hospitality to ease our situation

All are excellent. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. I love the furniture there...so classy. The people are also helpful to children. I do really wish they have kids swimming pool and kids playground in advance.
