Great staff and great location”

we stayed here last may 12-13. golden pines can be easily accessed by taxi from the baguio victory liner terminal. it cost us around 50 pesos to get to the hotel from the terminal. since we arrived at around 7 a.m., our room is still not ready, for the check-in time is at 2. however, we were advised by the concierge that they would call us once the room is ready for us. while waiting for our room, we opted to eat breakfast and visit some spots in baguio. upon exiting golden pine, one would realize that mcdonalds (to the right) and jollibee (to the left) are both a few steps away. also, there is a bank (banco de oro) fronting the hotel. aside from these establishments, burnham park is also just a few blocks from the hotel. another nearby famous restaurant is cafe by the ruins. and the best part about this hotel, i have to say, is how accessible yet quiet it is. despite its proximity to prime baguio spots (sm baguio and the baguio cathedral), the hotel is still tucked away in a quiet area. by the way, our room was ready by 10 a.m. also, the hotel allows deliveries from other restaurants for a corkage of 150 pesos. i had pizza delivered from pizza volante, and i the hotel front desk happily obliged.

Great location and friendly staff”

We had a great time at Golden Pine Baguio when we stayed there for 3 nights. All employees are polite and very accommodating. Their free breakfast is really good. Try the beef tapa. It is highly recommended. Compared to other hotels in Baguio, their rooms are a whole lot bigger. Furnished by a split type aircon, comfortable decent sized bed, and a bath tub. The view of Baguio from our room is really great. My only concern is that they don't have any Safety Deposit Boxes for your belongings. Good thing we've never lost anything during our stay. Also, it is quite near to some major attractions in Baguio like the Burnham Park, Session Road and the Black Market. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers to Baguio.

Great hotel in ideal location”

I travelled to Baguio with 3 friends and the 4 of us shared 2 superior twin rooms. We were most impressed with the hotel, the staff were friendly, curteous, helpful and efficient, the rooms were comfortable and the location ideal. We had a wonderful 3 days in Baguio and our enjoyment was contributed to by the pleasure of staying at the Golden Pine. It will certainly be our first choice of a place to stay if we are lucky enough to be able to return to Baguio.

most of them were so courteous and their smiles gaves us the feeling of being at home. all of them are very helpful at all times. they have complete facilities and the place is just a walking distance from those attractions in the city,which we find it very convenient and saves so much of our time. i strongly recommend golden pine hotel,it will make your stay in baguio worthwhile. the location, facilities & the staff were super friendly.

Summer Capital of the Phil”

Golden pine is one of the few hotels which offers free breakfast, aircon and water heater. The breakfast though is not unli but it’s already enough to keep your day going. They also have parking in front and underneath the hotel. The location is right in the middle of Baguio City proper.

Baguio Revisited”

It was a good decision to choose Golden Pine amongst the list of hotels in Baguio. I made my booking while in transit from Vigan and i am happy to have chosen GPH based on guests' reviews. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. Even the security guards are helpful with our luggage. Rooms are clean, cozy and homey. Sheets and towels are clean, which is my primary concern when staying in a hotel. Highly recommended, you'll get your money's worth! :-)

Wish to Have Stayed Longer...”

Since our REAL destination was somewhere up north of Benguet, we decided to have a quick stay in Baguio. At first, I had doubts to have booked in this place because of some bad reviews but I guess I was wrong..Yes, the place is kind a old however I would say they manage to maintain the rooms clean and somehow presentable and still a decent place to stay. They can still provide the basic needs of a traveler (i.e., complimentary water bottles, toiletries, towel and a pair of bedroom slippers for 2 guest). Even if we stayed for a night, we were able to explore Baguio quickly as possible for its location has easy access to places you haven't seen and discovered in Baguio (good restaurants and a solemn church nearby). The hotel is not too far away from the city and not too crowded when you go out from the lobby. I will definitely book again if I plan to go back to Baguio because I found peace and quiet on this place.

Quiet nice hotel with full amenities”

This is my second time to stay in Golden Pine hotel, my first one was last August. From my previous experience make me stay in this hotel again. We stay comfortable in twin bed room and got free set meal breakfast. I sometime use internet service at the lobby for free. And overall a nice hotel to stay in. Looking foward for my next trip to Baguio next year.

Surpassed Expectations”

My stay in Golden Pine Hotel was great, more than I expected. The rooms are clean and well-maintained and more spacious compared to other hotels I've been to. The best selling point is the curtesy of the staffs. The staffs are all friendly and nice and really attentive to the customer's needs. I am recommending this hotel to those who are going to Baguio!

Great location with friendly helpful staff”

Stayed three nights and no complaints whatsoever. It was the only hotel we stayed at that provided us with competent and reliable directions. The room service rawks! The food, aside from the complimentary breakfast, has very ample delicious portions. Everything worked, which is something of a rarity in the Philippines. I also have to give the hotel staff kudos for just being super nice and courteous. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Golden Pines, except maybe that there is no heater for the rooms. Baguio can get rather cold, wet, and rainy. Fortunately, they will provide additional blankets upon request. In fact, they were delivered to the room before I managed to get back to my room after requesting them at the front desk.

Value for your money”

The staff was really nice, from the time we arrived till we left, we were treated like special guests. They helped arrange a day trip around Baguio and helped get cabs and pointed us where to go when we wanted to explore on our own, did i mention it was pouring rain during those times? The hotel was conveniently located at the heart of the city, its two blocks away from burnham park, left and right you got mcdonalds and jollibee, just around the corner you have cafe by the ruins, a well-known cafe. Its just a 5 to 10 minute walk to the central market where you can buy souveneirs and just a little further from the market is sm baguio. There's also some yummy authentic korean cuisine around the hotel. our room was big, with airconditioning, tv, and a bathtub. The free breakfast was yummy too. I recommend ordering the bangus, a local fish from dagupan with rice. My only area for improvement was the carpet. Baguio is a little cool so carpets can get a little damp and has that damp smell if you don't air the room out. They should just remove the carpet next time they remodel the place. The room is lovely enough without it. I would definitely go back and stay with them.

Me and My friend with our older kids stayed for 3D/2N and I can say that we had a great time visiting Baguio and choosing Golden Pine Hotel for a place to stay is just the right choice. I searched the net for a Good place to stay because its my son's first time to Baguio and I don't want him to have a creepy experience in a hotel. We took 1 Deluxe Room and 1 Superior room and both are cozy and clean. Prompt room service w/o extra charges, smiling and well-mannered staff.. I Get what I See, because 80% of the Hotel Rooms and Facilities posted here are what we GET!,those are not the pictures of a show room, its exactly the rooms they have. Good place is what I am looking for but Great Hotel is what I got..I will recommend this to my friends and family.

Lovely hotel”

we are a family of four and we absolutely enjoyed our stay at the golden pine hotel. breakfast was awesome and location is very convenient to restaurants and burnham park, transportation is all around the city, never a problem. service with a smile, we will not hesitate going back to it when we visit baguio again.

More than your money's worth!”

We enjoyed it very much. Baguio is a huge resort city, and we went during the high season, yet we got an excellent price, and were delighted with everything. We did not expect so much for what we paid, and we feel anyone wanting to spend time in Baguio without sacrificing anything should consider Golden Pine

We enjoyed our time at Golden Pine! Service personnel are really accommodating, and they always took note of our needs like toiletries and room service. All for a cheap price! The place is well-kept, although the carpet looked old. Regardless, it was a nice stay and we'll definitely go back to Golden Pine the next time we go to Baguio.

a comfortable holiday hotel”

It was a very nice holiday for us this time. We had booked for two nights through agoda but we extended our stay by another night as we overall liked golden pine. We arrived in Baguio by 4 pm on our check in date and approached the front office staffs who politely guided us. We had our breakfast in the hotel the other day morning which is very up to the standard. Housekeeping was very good and supplies received in time. Room service was good. Hotel wi-fi is very good. We enjoyed our stay at golden pine.

Nice hotel in center of Town”

Baguio city is a popular vacation spot in the Philippines for a non obvious reason. No beaches, but high up in a range of mountains it offers something rare in the Philippines. Cool weather. Even in late April the evenings are very comfortable and most people wear light jackets. There are several parks and trials to look at and walk around. Plenty of night spots and restaurants. Kind of a pleasant low key vacation spot. The Golden Pine fits well into that atmosphere. It is in the center of town and within walking distance of one of the larger parks and shopping areas. Very enjoyable stay.

our stay was pleasant, the room is clean and more than adequate for four people (3 adults and 1 child), breakfast is more than the ordinary and cost is reasonable. the staffs are very quick in responding to your requests and are always smiling. you got this feeling that you are most welcome. the place is near the CBD of baguio city and if given the chance to visit baguio city again, i will choose golden pine hotel again.

Me with my whole family stayed at the Golden Pine Hotel for 3 days 2 nights and I find it very nice. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time but the staff accomodated us and let us into our room without any early check-in charges and they are very friendly and polite too. The room is good, the bed is just right for me (i don't like firm mattresses), breakfast is inclusive, you can choose whether you like American or Filipino. The prices are budget-friendly as well. And it is located at the center of the city so some tourist spots and a lot of restaurants are just walking distance.

THE ROOM WAS BEYOND GREAT!!!”

I was actually only expecting a decent room to sleep in during my stay, but Golden Pine really exceeded my expectations! The room was cozy 👌 with convenient positioning of switch of lamps and tv. It also comes with a cabinet, telephone. Their coffee shop are also available even at night and they serve and respond quickly to our orders. Also, the breakfast!!! All of the dishes impressed me with their tastes! Expect me to stay here again once I travel back to Baguio ❤️
