Great City hotel which won't hurt your pocket”

I choose Golden City Hotel Rayong every time I have to visit Rayong. First is the quality of room is relatively great value for money. Second is its location, being just opposite night market place, 10 minutes of walk away from Laem Tong shopping complex and just along the Rayong main street. Thirdly is the choices of food offered during breakfast. There is hardly any other hotel i can find to match such good value for money. Strongly recommended!

Excellent service”

This is my second stay at Golden City Rayong Hotel... it was just as good as my first stay... The staff are so friendly and warm and helpful. Breakfast was good again and my room very clean and well appointed.

This is my third stay at Golden City Rayong Hotel and I am so pleased... again the staff were exceptionally good, breakfast hot and tasty and my room clean and of a high quality. I will be back again.

Good location, clean place and friendly staff”

I stopped over at Rayong city for 1 night so I was looking for a place where is more convenient. I booked a studio room in new building but I booked a wrong day. the staff was kindly help me out and gave me the same condition as I was booking. They were so nice with all my luggages. I was there with my mum and my 18 months old son. The night market is just across the road (the bad part is... it is so hard crossing the road). I had breakfast at the hotel. The food was good and variety. I definitely recommend to my friends.

Location is great and service with a smile”

I enjoyed our stay at the Golden City Rayong Hotel. We had a great room with two bedrooms two baths living room and kitchen. Had a great breakfast buffet which my family enjoyed. There was 4 of us and just having both bedrooms and bathrooms was a plus ! Will stay there again when we visit Rayong.

Nice and good variety of breakfast”

We came back to this hotel once again because it was cosy and comfortable. There were variety of breakfast and different each morning. We made a mistake rating the other hotel we usually stayed previously when coming to Rayong, and that hotel was now rated 4-star on Agoda, the room rate of that hotel was also increased, although Golden City Rayong is much better in terms of food, and room condition.

I stayed at this hotel for business trip. This hotel is located along Sukhumwit Road and there is 7-11 in front of the hotel (but we have to cross the Sukhumwit Road with heavy traffic.) . The breakfast is buffe style and foods are Thai, American and Chinese (seemed to be). My room was annex and it seemed to have built newly. I thought this hotel is probably popular and there is much demand for staying. I think the room fee is reasonable as compared with their service. This hotel should be one of my choice to stay when I visit Rayong for business trip. I recommend this one.

Good location, and interesting hotel.”

Our deluxe room came with balcony, giving great view, and was both large and comfortable. Not in central Rayong, but good, convenient location at reasonable rates, handy to food market & supermarket. Swimming pool needed a bit more work. Noted that this hotel had many conference guests suggesting both good facilities & good service. All around a good deal.

Requests not met this time.”

Usually we have a good stay here, not this time... every request was ignored which ruined our stay. We asked for Non Smoking and quiet room on a high floor. Instead we had a smoking room with ash tray on the noisiest floor with wedding guests that resembled noisy excitable forest monkeys that smoke. (To be fair forest monkeys have more self awareness and don't smoke). This is a large hotel that caters for weddings and lots of training seminars and functions but if we can't have a quiet and enjoyable stay I'll be looking elsewhere in Rayong next trip.

Relaxing place in the city”

We stayed at the new wing of this hotel, was our 4 th visit. These rooms are very nice and clean with excellent beds. Good bathroom en the service is good. Near to the big shopping center in Rayong but for the beach you need transport. With the new wing and the renovations the hotel improved a lot in everything.

Another nice stay at the Golden City”

Golden City is expanding, as a result, I got a junior suite for a great price here at Agoda. The room was huge and had a kitchenette. It was very comfortable. There is still a night market across the street which is fun. I finally tried the swimming pool. It doesn't get much sun, yikes it was cold! But it did kind of feel nice to get away from the Thailand heat. Across the street a new building with a interesting Japanese restaurant. I would rate this as a 3.5 star hotel.

Nice and comfortable cosy hotel”

We decided to change from the hotel that we usually stayed previously because they increased the room rate, although in our opinion Golden City Rayong was better. There were variety of different food each morning. However, there was a drunken guy was making a lot of frighten noises during the breakfast time.

Great Location and good decoration”

i went to this hotel for my customer's wedding. i spent 1 night there. the hotel is great location where is located opposite food market. the main building is quite old, but they have been just expanded new building at the back where is modern decoration and new furniture. complete all amenities inside the room. this is a good choice if you are looking for a hotel in rayong.

very comfortable ”

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights, for the price you can't beet it in Rayong. big rooms very comfortable and clean. Definitely when we go back we will be staying here before anywhere else. just a note make sure you get the new building when booking we stayed in the deluxe B.

Comfortable and variety of buffet breakfast”

The odor of the thinner was too strong as the lobby was being renovated. We were supposed to get 2 free bottles of water but unfortunately one of them was opened and consumed by previous guest, we believed. The swimming pool was cool for kids but closed only at 20:00 where as Rayong City Hotel closes at 22:00. It was was just OK this time to stay in this hotel.

Good location, a short distance walking to the shopping mall and night market across from this hotel. The staffs were very helpful. The breakfast was good. I would stay in this hotel next time I visit Rayong.

convenient location good staff”

Older style of hotel showing age but still quite acceptable, not overcrowded during my stay and very much a business orientated hotel. I will certaintly use again when next in Rayong as it is good value for money.

Good Hotel in new bu'ld old bu'ld being repaired”

We enjoyed our stay at the Goldern City Hotel, room was big, clean and nice. We traveled along the Rayong coastline and enjoyed all the beaches, the city location was a good base to do this if you have a car. Great local street food right accross the road! Friendly staff. The new hotel building is nice the old building is currently under repair which im sure will be as nice when finished. Couldn't hear any works from room which was good. Swimming pool tiny and unusable because of the works currently.

Value for money ”

Overall my stay has been satisfactory in view of the hotel rates. I will encourage my staff staying here for their next trip to Rayong.

Nice City Hotel”

Nice City hotel in the centre of Rayong. The room was clean and nice, service could be improved .Breakfast on sunday was chaotic, many empty plates wich are not refilled.
