By the beach hotel”

Golden beach resort is a family run resort. Once we arrived, we were warmly welcomed n greeted by the owner. We had a good talk. He shared the interesting things to see with us. The events happening in the area. It was a great start of the day as we talk to the owner. He is also a coin collector. If u have some spare change of ur country currency give it to him. Better still, if u have paper notes, he would be very happy to change it with baht. We got the room on the beachfront. Spectacular view. Clean. Seeing star shine in the nite. N listen to the crashing waves lullaby before we sleep. The resort is also about 20 mins to haad rin. Haad rin beach is the best. White sand breathtaking view. Rent a motorcycle for about 150baht /day. N you can explre the whole island.

Our best stay in Thailand”

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Golden Beach for 7 nights. The resort has a private beach and the bungalows are small, but in a cosy way. Even if you haven't booked seaside, you can see the sea from you bungalow. Especially the staff was great. They like to chat and joke with you and give you tips about what to do on the island. After seven days, Golden Beach felt like home and we were very unhappy to leave this beautiful and friendly place. The only minus is that the resort isn't really near a 7Eleven or atm, though the owner is happy to lend you his motorbike for short rides like this

Incredible views!”

Amazing location footsteps from the beach. So peaceful and quiet, ideal place to relax and wind down. Staff at resort are so polite and attentive. Food is great too. Rooms are basic but has a bed and a shower - all you need! Amazing part of the island!

Great place with friendly staff and beautiful view”

We stayed 4 nights here and overall enjoyed the place. The location is great; right on the beach which is quiet and large enough to find your own private spot. Our bungalow was very small, but for the money we paid, we cannot complain. If you're a tall person or like a little more space, ask for one of the larger rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help you out with anything you need. Try the massaman curry; it's one of the best I've had in Thailand which says a lot considering the 7 years I've been here. I will be back!

Epic little beach bungalows on the beach. Corona killed the vibe on the island but a really nice & relaxing place.

Little bungalow by the sea for amazing price”

Amazing that you can get a whole bungalow for such a cheap price right by the sea. Very simple, but really has everything a bacpacker could need. Good location - close to some nice hikes and good restaurants, not far from anything. Great find to spend a couple of nights!

Nice Simple Resort”

It's a small resort with simple facilities but very cheap and worst to stay there. The staff is nice and helpfull..

Great accommodation ”

Very good price for a a/c bungalow just in front of the beach with an amazing included. Breakfast! Stayed there a week, will recommend it :)

Good place for stay! ”

Very nice staff! Nice view, good food. A little bit far away from anything but we get a scooter and it's not a problem!! Quite place. Not new but for this price recommend!!

You get what you pay for!”

We had a really good stay at this resort! The view is great, and for a good price! I would recommend only 1 or 2 nights due to the lack of care in the bathrooms and the “bad” WiFi reception in the bungalows. So if you are going for full moon or any other party this place is a great choice! You can get a taxi from 100-200 baht per person to Haad Rin.

The food is expensive for what you have. It's very far from everything, but it's still perfect for relax and if you have motorbike. The beach is awesome.

Nice place buth poor bungalow”

Beachfront hut is on very romantic and quiet place, but it s not very clean and it was a bit dirty. Under bed you hear mouses and in hut it smells sometimes very owfully... Stuff is friendly and nice. It s far away from seven eleven but restaurant is very good there (but not so cheap)... Still it was very nice stay there

Nice bungalow with air con. Calm and quite place if you have a scooter not too far from the next town.

Dissappointing”

I stayed here after reading great reviews. I was woken up early in the morning twice by staff on my 4 night stay. Was not very helpful. Dissapointed.
