I can't speak highly enough of Kokomo Gili Gede. We have been travelling to the various Gili island for over 10 years now and were looking for somewhere quieter for some family time over New Year. We couldn't have been more thrilled with deciding to stay here. The accommodation is just beautiful and highly maintained. We had great privacy but easy access to the social spaces. Food was fabulous with so much choice and a changing menu so you couldn't get bored with food options. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had! Staff were beyond helpful, cheerful and accommodating at all times. Great facilities with the private pools and the communal pool. Tennis court option was fun too. We spent a great deal of time playing board games and paddle boarding why my husband went off diving which the resort helped organise. Everything was so well planned - our boat and taxi transfers were on time and safe. Wonderful place! Keep doing what you're doing.

Sayuti and her staff run this place for more than 8 years and you can tell that they like to spoil their costumers. Everything was perfect; big room, hot shower, tasty food. You should try the freshly made fish platter! The people in the village are nice too, the kids came over to play with our kids. We were even invited to al local ceremony. Next time we are in Gili Gede, we'll stay here again. Thank you Sayuti.

Absolutely beautiful place. So quaintly decorated. Time slows down here. I stayed for 4 nights & had a lovely relaxing time. Food at the restaurant is good - highly recommend the shrimp rendang; delicious! Beer & cocktails are nice and reasonably priced. The room is clean & comfortable, and even though there's no air con or hot water, you don't really need it as there is always a nice cool breeze & the water is warm anyway. Alain, the owner is a true gentleman. He gave free boat trip from tembongan port to the hotel & also gave the best price for my boat trip on to Gili Layar. Fast boat to Bali can be booked easily from the hotel, or they can arrange the slow ferry. Prices are very good. Things to do: snorkeling trips, kayaking(only 50rp rupiah for your entire stay), diving, exploring the island & friendly locals, eating delicious food in the restaurant.

Thamarind is a delightful place to just chill out for a few days. This area of Gili Gede is very quiet and secluded, and the beach nearby was absolutely deserted when we sat there for the whole day. Apart from some nearby construction, it was a very quiet and peaceful place to relax. A generator is used to power the small restaurant and bungalows, and is often turned off at night, which is fine as long as you're aware of that. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay there. We would love to see a fresh seafood beach barbecue added to the menu as an option. Get up early at around 6am to see an amazing sunrise right in front of Thamarind. We will be back for sure as we really enjoy this kind of island holiday.
