Nice place, just cross over and u can shop at BCS Mall. You can even walk around their market and buy keropok! :) hotel is clean, delicious breakfast! Friendly staff. Room is big and the bed is so comfy that me and hubby fall asleep everytime we lay down. Anyway will come again nxt time!

Have been staying in this lovely hotel on each and every visit to Batam. Clean, spacious and cozy room with friendly hotel staff. Location is easy to access to wet market, BCS Mall, A2 open air food court and lots of massage shop. Will look forward to my next visit in September again, thanks.

Gideon Hotel is strategically located opposite BCS shopping mall, beside many local eateries, a wet market and heaps of massage shops. I do not need to spend money on shuffling between accommodation and shopping. Hotel room is at an acceptable level of cleanliness, a few pillows that we got is a little old and sticky so we left them one side. Good breakfast buffet spread. Very very friendly staff. Will choose to stay at Gideon again.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, BIG & COSY ROOMS”
Have been visiting this hotel on each trip to Batam. This time we tried Junior Suit Room which is bigger but more recommended for couples as they don't have Suit Room with Twin Beds and they don't provide additional blanket too. Receptionists and bellboy are always willing to help and assist with big smile on their face (Thumbs up). Complimentary breakfast was much more disappointing this time, signature Indonesia style chicken was totally overcook and hard to bite, and some of the cook food are a bit too salty this time. Hope to see improvement on the breakfast in our next trip on 02/Feb/2019, thank you.

We chose this hotel due to its convenient location, which is near to massage parlours and bcs mall. Only downside is that I find it hard to adjust the shower tap for hot water.
