Busuanga Bay LodgeBusuanga,Busuanga - View on map
"Superb location to see spectacular pristine natural attractions. No crowds. Busuanga Bay Lodge (BBL) has a breath taking lobby and infinity pool. Rooms are fabulous only surpassed by the smiling warmth of the professional attentive staff. A truly well run guest focused facility. I read the cell and internet has been an issue with this resort in the past but good news is a new cell tower is being erected as at Oct 2018 - so no future issues for social media addicts. Do not miss BBL and it’s micro South Cay private day tripper Island with azure waters and it’s white powdered sand beach straight out of a dream. Can’t say enough about this place. Have travelled the world extensively first class and seen the rest. This is the best for the paultry money you’ll spend at BBL when others charge up to five times as much. Do yourself a favour and book this place but don’t tell too many as I won’t get in next time if everyone books. Yes - I am a genuine Australian guest. Elated as you can tell. "

Palawan Sandcastles The Beach HouseBusuanga,Busuanga - View on map
"My stay at Sandcastles was great! Loved everything. If you are expecting a typical resort: swimming pools, loud packed bars, gift shops, this is not it. But if you are looking to truly get away from it all, this is the place to be. Be reasonable, you are at a resort in the Philippines, you will have uninvited guests...mosquito net over the bed. Kayaking is a surprisingly offered activity."

Pierhouse LodgingBusuanga,Busuanga - View on map
"If you want to escape crazy Coron, this is a fantastic place to be. Feels almost a bit like a homestay, as the owners Family and other travellers are around most of times. Nice village, friendly staff, good food for reasonable prices, small waterfall in walking distance, dive shop around the corner (which I cannot fully recommend). only down side is that there was not always water and WiFi never worked.. would have loved to stay longer."
Iris Island Eco ResortBusuanga,Busuanga - View on map
"The place is beautiful, the views are stunning, surrounding corals nice. The room was very comfortable and clean, the infrastructure were good (a pool and yoga studio are in construction) and the food really really good! What is also special about this place is the story and concept behind. Spend some time with Frank, the owner and learn all about it. This is a great story and he is a super interesting man! We would definitely be back!"
Cashew Grove Beach ResortBusuanga,Busuanga - View on map
"Cashew Grove is the perfect getaway if you want to spend a quiet, relaxing getaway in Coron. It's rated a 3-star resort but made me feel like it's a 4 or 5 star resort. It's located on the northwestern part of Coron island whereas Coron town (and all the famous island hopping activities are located) are on the southeastern part of the island so if you want to do the activities, skip Cashew Grove and just stay at a cheap hotel in Coron Town, as the transfer from Cashew Grove to Coron Town can be quite expensive and takes about 2 hours. But if you want a relaxing stay at a beachfront property, then Cashew Grove is an excellent resort! Getting to Cashew Grove is the hardest part. The airport is located at the middle of the island and the road towards Cashew Grove is bumpy, unpaved dirt road. There are lots of airport shuttles to and from the airport and Coron Town (where the roads are paved) but most of them are reluctant to take you the other way to Cashew Grove. The resort itself can arrange for airport transfers but it'll cost you P1000 per person each way. And if you wanted to transfer from Cashew Grove to Coron Town to do the activities, the transfer can cost you P3000 and up! What me and my girlfriend did (and is what I recommend to everyone) is to book your first night at a cheap hotel in Coron Town. That way, when you land at the airport, just pay the P150 transfer from the airport to Coron Town (they'll take you right up to your hotel). Then the next day do your activities and at night, pay the P3000 transfer from Coron Town to Cashew Grove. Your hotel at Coron Town should be able to arrange the transfer. Just ask. That way you get to do all the activities first, then spend the rest of your vacation relaxing! When we got to Cashew Grove, the resort itself is small with 11 cabins in the "bahay kubo" (hut) style. The small number of occupancy at any one time means that you'll be catered to by the excellent staff. The cabins are all beachfront and you can choo"
