"This is a great hotel and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Upon arriving we were treated with a drink and a briefing of Hoi An, a map, recommendations and suggestions and then some fruit! I was a bit speechless to be honest. To say we felt very welcomed is an understatement. The hotel rooms are great, we had adjoining rooms with our teenage daughters and they were quite big rooms, very nice bathrooms, bar fridges and tea and coffee facilities. Looks to be a very new place. There are free bikes but the traffic is busier than my wife expected so you have to be confident in the traffic. I loved it. The pool is small but adequate for cooling off. In December late it is still 28c so we are swimming after our morning shop. Breakfast is very nice. It takes us about 7 mns to walk across the bridge which is where the old city starts, so very walkable to the old city. Book with confidence."

"i like the room with balcony with nice sunset view. nice decorative hotel with small pool. Location wise not close to ancient town. but hotel provide free bike which take us 10 mins reach the town. Nice breakfast but hope the choice of breakfast can change daily. It almost same food serve for breakfast (we stay 3nights) Nice and friendly front desk lady who provides us tons of information, we book the bike tour from hotel and it was amazing experience to see the local people, local culture, arts, and food. "

"The staff (Rosy and Thuy #1, Thuy #2 and Lieu) where wonderful and kind. They even shared their simple lunch with us! Breakfast was also fresh and simple. Other services that they did for us included bookings for a local show and our flight tickets back to Hanoi. They went above and beyond what can be expected. I got a ride to an ATM when one wasn't nearby and they got us soup (also known as Pho) that Rosy recommended when we came back tired and starving from walking around town. Rosy made a simple dish of okra for us when we told her we craved it. Don't forget to cool off in their refreshing pool. The view from our rooms (wonderful sunrises and sunsets), the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff makes Calm House worth coming to Vietnam for. I would definitely stay with them again. WE LOVE YOU CALM HOUSE!!!"

"Wow! This is the best place I have stayed in Vietnam. I stayed just under 1 month and LOVED my time at this amazing spot! Such a warm, welcoming family, beautiful pool and grounds, large, comfy bed and beautiful stone throughout the building. Strongly recommend this one! 5 stars, thru and thru!!"

"The family was so helpful, they make a very good breakfast and give bycicles for free. It’s so close with bike to the old town. The family helps us to book a tour to the My son and the day after the bus to Hue, and it was cheaper than on the internet what i find. They are so lovely and correct and helpful, kind people. I totally recommand!"

"Family run..a little far off from hustle and bustle...Ni and her husband are super hosts..they go above and beyond to help the travellers..stay is comfortable with good bedding, spacious rooms, a small backyard retreat where you can enjoy your breakfast or read a book..Ni arranged our transportation to old town and also our return to the airport with her brother's car, shared coffee making tips with us and also her breakfast pancakes are awesome and filling...she also walked us to a nearby store to help us buy some vietnamese stuff..I wish we could have stayed more in Ni's house..:-)"

"We booked to stay in Thu Bon Riverside for 2 days but it was so amazing that we decided to extended our stay! The room was very spacious with a huge balcony facing the river! The scenery was perfect and romantic! The family that owns the Homestay is very welcome, always smiling and willing to help you with everything!! They also cook amazing breakfast!! Close to Hoi An ancient town and in a calm neighbourhood! Highlight the road by the river from the hotel to the city centre! Highly recommend! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! "
