Endroit idéal et au calme avec la ville accessible à pieds à quelques minutes. Belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées, par contre peu d’intimité dès qu'on se met en terrasse car les chambres sont rapprochées les unes des autres. Personnel agréable et aidant sur les activités alentours et les endroits où manger. Motel à conseiller

I arrived about 6pm so had a sign on the door to say which room I was in. Didn't see the manager at any stage but that was OK. Very reasonable rate for Wanaka at this time of the year.

Fabulous views and spacious unit, however carpet was dirty and stained, no cooking hob and minimalist kitchen utensils.

Poor form”

We booked a room online with a balcony, but when we arrived our room didn’t have a balcony and was inferior to the one we booked. When I rang to query this the woman was very argumentative and laughed at me. We were informed that someone had paid more money than us, so they were given the room we had booked. She said the fact that we had booked a specific room was irrelevant. We were really disappointed 😔 and would not recommend this motel.

Lovely view”

Great view over Lake Wanaka and some of town. Tv, hairdryer and kitchenette. Bathroom could have done with an extractor fan but shower was nice and hot. Bed was comfortable, extra pillows in the cupboard. I arrived late and checked out early so didn’t see anyone but there was a note left for us explaining everything- thank you. We weren’t really there long enough but it was a nice place to stay.

Lakeview Motel”

The motel was just what we needed and had the most perfect view over the lake and Wanaka. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We liked the view which prompted our booking. The unit was very tired and the bedroom being up a full flight of stairs wouldn’t suit some. Traffic noise in bedroom wouldn’t allow window open and there wasn’t a heat pump, only a mobile fan. Surprisingly the deck is a shared facility thus removing privacy. A disappointing experience.

We enjoyed a very comfortable night at Lakeview, with superb views over the lake, easy walking distance to town and friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend.

Stay wasn't great!”

The location of the property was great. We were in room no 5 in Motel. The room was cramped. To our utter surprise, we didn't find any storage/cupboard or a single hanging hook in the room. We wonder how we managed for two nights. Next thing was the noisy people around. There was no control over the people who were very noisy.

Lake view is well named”

Excellent value for the price and we were able to sit at the breakfast bar and enjoy stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

We returned here after a trip earlier in the year. We love this place, we travel as couple and brother/brother-in-law and the room for three, with the little loft for one person is an ideal. beautiful views, handy to town, kind helpful staff. My only suggestion is that it would be useful to have more than the strict 'one of every item' for plates and cutlery. a few extra utensils would be useful plus a couple more bowls/storage items. But a fabulous place, we loved that you had frisbees we could use for the course across the road. Thanks everyone!
