We moved to another hotel”
I chose Flogel because, according to the website, it’s near the city’s tourist spots and public transportation. But that’s not true because the location was pinned incorrectly. It was almost a km away from its pin-point. And also there’s no wifi. We told the staff about it and they just said they have a pretty weak signal but really they don’t have one. Taxis and Grab drivers were getting a hard time finding the pension house, so instead of staying there for 3 nights, we only stayed there for a night and moved to another hotel. Such a waste of money, and not to mention their bathroom is so dirty and the door is broken.

Wifi not working, 4 days long. Think thwy haven't paid the bill. Not a s8ngle hook in the bathroom. Tv not working. Shower not working. No warm water. Aircon ok. Elevator ok.

The location is good, there is a elevator, the front desk is friendly, the room is small and the air-conditioner is old and noise and doesn't really get cold enough which is not a big problem because the blanket is very short and thin. In the toilet there is no hot water and the shower doesn't work properly the toilet itself is almost falling apart, also there is no amenities included. The bed is very simple and the mattress is thin but kind of conformable, the best about this hotel is the location right in the center of Cebu.

Good Budget Hotel”
Close to the city so it's close to shops and fast food places. We walked from the pension house to South Bus Terminal. Just 10 mins walk. Would recommend this if you're looking for a budget hotel inside the city.

Setting Proper Expectation”
If u really want to save money. Choose this pensiom house. Not much tho with their facilities and room. Their staff is not available 24/7 :) so u might want to call them ahead of time. The pension house is clearly nearby to tourist destination, so I still recommend this to people who really wants to enjoy their travel and save money.

Double Room for Solo Travelers on a Budget”
Attention: In case its address is not yet updated in the website, here's the real location based on Google Maps: 8V2W+RWF Flogel Amore Pension House, Junquera St, Cebu City, Cebu Sharing this because when I went to the property based on the address found in Agoda, I saw a Space for Lease sign instead. For me, the room is for solo travelers despite being a room for two because if you have a lot of stuff then you might feel crowded. What I liked about: The room: Well-lit Has TV and aircon Double-size bed Towel is provided Has clothes rack w/ hangers Toilet w/ flush Main faucet water is clean The property: Quick check-in Reception sells travel essentials (e.g. toiletries) Has GCash Cash-in and out service Has coin-operated water dispenser Has elevator Is near a 7-eleven branch and some cafes Rooms for improvement: Room should be cleaned thoroughly prior to customer's check-in (i.e. sweep the floor and ceiling, clean the bathroom) Add trash bin to the main room Add plastic bag to the bathroom's trash bin Clean aircon filter Add plywood (or anything) under the mattress because I felt the bed frame when I slept Change the curtains Others: Toilet is not for tall people; too close to the wall; Water from the shower smells bad, so just use the main faucet; I liked the double-size bed but might be better to have bunker bed to save space.

CR floor tile, room floor and doormats are terribly dirty. There were used cotton buds on the floor, candy wrappers in the toilet, and dust on the floors. Worst so far in my booking experience with Agoda / Reddoors / Oyo. I told the staff to clean them, but mo actions were taken. I had no choice but to still use the room as it was almost midnight already.terrible!

The place was not next to Sto.Rosario church as pinned on google map. It was way farther. We arrived at night so we felt scared because of the dark street. The staff were kind and helpful though🥰. The room was okay except that there were no complimentary toiletries. Good thing I brought my own stuff. I couldn't stand the smelly waste bin in the toilet, had to hold my breath the whole time when using the sink. In a nutshell, you get what you pay for.😅
