"Nice 5 star hotel in Sapa. Very clean and tidy. Nice view of the mountain specially when partially cloudy. Staff are extremely helpful. May be I should put the comment for the tour. The tour is booked from the hotel for a full day private tour 43$ per person. The tour stated 9.15 am , lunch stated at 1.25 pm. Then the tour ended after lunch about 2.15.pm. With no activities after lunch. It looks like a half day tour with lunch. And the lunch is poor quality. I think the management are keen to know this comment for guest better service This comment is also passed to the reception front desk. "

"We were a little disappointed in this homestay. While we completely understand that it is not a hotel and that it would be simple, the kitchen, bathrooms, and our room could have been cleaner. There were dead bugs and old gum on our floor. While two of the women were so kind and welcoming, a couple of other women seemed annoyed we were there. Lastly, this is far more expensive for a private room than other home stays around here. We appreciate the women inviting us into their home, but were hoping for a slightly different experience."

"The hostess and staff were super friendly and helpful. They speak Viet And English as well. The view was amazing! The food was delicious. The facilities and presentation were neat. One thing though is that it was a bit hot at times. No fan in our room. Definitely given them a visit! "

"Sapa Garden B&B has a beautiful house and garden. We thoroughly enjoyed walking in the garden every morning with the dogs, chickens, and guinea hens after a delicious breakfast. Vietnam has excellent food, but the best meal you might have is dinner at Sapa Garden B&B. "

"We absolutely loved our time with Cuong and his family. Great value for money and you really get to experience family life in TaVan. Cuong was a great trekking guide. Would also recommend eating with the family for dinner as they will teach you how they cook as well!"

"Our stay with De and his family was amazing and one we will not soon forget. Most importantly, the warmth and open arms with which we were greated was incredible. Breakfast was delicious banana pancakes and we opted to pay the family a few dollars for dinner. Sharing meals and "happy water" with the family and play with their kids was so much fun. This homestay is also in a village just outside of Sapa, so it is much more peaceful than the bustling town. You can also walk out the door and have awesome views of the mountains and rice paddies. A couple tips. First, this place can be difficult to find. Have a restaurant in town or your cab driver call De to get directions on where to meet. Second, this homestay is not meant for luxury travelers. It is rustic. Bathroom has plumbing, but is outside the main house. If you're flexible, you must visit!"

"The Homestay at the Stone Garden turned out to be the perfect place to explore the area around Sapa! Living in the nice and quiet little village was an unforgettable experience for the two of us. The owner speaks good english and will always try to make things work for you. It was nice to stay so close to the local people and it felt a little like being a part of the family. The surrounding is absolutely beautiful and way better than staying in the city of Sapa itself! The rooms are very simple but you have everything you need and its clean and therefor very cheap! There is a nice little water stream in the yard where you can sit by and have some good local food. Also the herbal baths are to be recommended! Worth the money!!! "
