"I really enjoyed my stay there. It is not far from the city center and located in a hilly position where you can have a view over the valley. The host are very friendly and gave me some local information. The room is clean with modern facilities. The best thing is it is very quiet here without any other guests' noise like you stay in a hotel."

"This has got to be the Top 2 motels/hotels we stayed at throughout our 14nights in NZ. We paid for the ground floor apartments which were the cheapest. When we checked in, the male host upgraded us for free to the top floor apartment! It was such a nice thing to do. Absolutely stunning views of St Clair Beach. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. The apartment was beautifully decorated & super spacious (4 separate rooms - kitchen, bathrm, bedroom, living rm). The building was lovingly restored. Free parking was available just on the roadside. everything was perfect. Do note there are no stairs so you will have to carry your luggage up 3 floors (the host was very helpful & helped to carry the luggage down when we were checking out). You will have to drive into town the city center. Wish we could stay longer. Dunedin was such a great city."
