"Bay Watch had an icon that they accept pets. When I requested dates I noted I had a 16 lb dog, which showed on all the confirmations. After driving 4 hours, they would not check me in and didn't care when I showed the confirmations that showed I had a pet. I had no place to stay! Despite, I can leave a review because I did see the rooms. I was there to look at a few 2 bedrooms/ 2 bath condos to buy as a rental property. I was glad that if I had a problem with a property's personell, it was there - because unlike the other properties I looked at in North Myrtle Beach, the furnishings were very shabby in all the units we looked at and the master bedroom did not have a balcony or ocean views and did not meet the standards what I wanted. On the other hand, Avista had very nice staff & amenities, & a better location. Personally, I liked The Prince Resort in the quieter part of North Myrtle."

"For me the cottages weren’t close enough to the amenities or the beach but the room itself was perfect and clean. I did miss having a balcony. It was nice to be so close to walk to food"

"The hotel is back off the road behind Fuddrucker's but easy to find. The room was nice, clean, and the bed slept well. Feel there was wasted space in the bathroom but that's just aesthetics. TV, microwave, fridge all worked in the room. Loved the sofa sleeper! Front desk staff was nice, nice lobby, and lemon infused water available for guests. Didn't use the indoor pool but it looked nice. Did not experience any problems and loved the late noon checkout. Would stay again!"

"Fresh, cut fruit and pastries would be a nice addition to breakfast. More handicapped parking. Only saw one space. Been here less than a day, but I’m generally happy with the place. "
