"The best part for me is the staff at the front desk. In addition to Ftench, they speak English and some of them even speak Spanish. Also staff at front desk are very helpful; they bend backwards to answer any question. The place is not perfect but I would definotely go back. One more thing, if using the metro then Gentilly is in zone 2 which costs more than zone 1 (which is Paris). One could save some euros by walking through "university city" and taking the metro with same name. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk and there is a pedesttian bridge that crosses the highway by the big church. "

"Value for money is ok, quite good for Paris price to stay per night. Unfortunately, the hotel is placed far from gare de nord. Even from the nearest tram / bus, you still have to walk around 300-400m i think, and it’s inconvenient if you brought a large luggage. The staff is not so friendly (not that they are unpolite, just not friendly) and not so helpful when you ask for something."
