"the bed is comfortable, room is clean, pillows are comfortable and room quite big for a budget price. the location is exactly in front of sg nibong bus station and there's seafood restaurant nearby. unfortunately there's the wifi is not connected at all despite mentioning in the booking free wifi. wifi only limited to the receptionist area probably because i got connected while at the registration and they asked me to get connected there since when in room is difficult to connect. but no wifi at all if we are in the room."

"This is one of the best budget hotel if you want to have just a place to rest with a good service. Its near a restaurant, shops. Simple but nice. I went there for a business not vacation. I guessed its fit my needs."

"The price is super reasonable when I purchased the room. And the house is very spacious with lots of bed. There are five of us and we get one bed each with some of it was a queen bed. Owner is very helpful and the decoration of house is really insta worthy. But the only downside is the master bedroom toilet is a bit smelly. Hope you guys can clean it up thoroughly the next time. "

"This is the first time I stayed at the Anggerik Lodging Hotel. As I was driving alone, I called the hotel ahead to ask about the directions to the hotel. The lady who answered my call gave me very clear directions and the hotel was very easy to find. The parking lot is at the hotel's compound and it is quite small. I had problem parking when the car park was near to full as there is less space to maneuver. If you are lucky, you'll get a covered parking space(only three available). Although transport can be arranged by the hotel, the price is quite steep. The hotel was quiet even though it was full. The room I had was small but clean. There is a TV in the room. However, the TV programmes are limited to the local stations. Although there is a jug kettle in the room, you have to bring your own drinks (3-in-1s would be great). All in all, it was a pleasant stay. If you want a place to stay in Penang without burning a hole in your pocket. This is a hotel worth considering."

"As the hotel is quite new, taxi drivers wasn't too sure where it is located. Wise to tell drivers it's at Gelugor area near Maybank or POS Malaysia instead of Banyan Lepas. Hair dryer is not available for loan unfortunately. Lobby, room and bathroom are clean and spacious, attended by friendly and helpful staffs."

"The host was friendly and reply all the questions asked thru chat. The picture used as ads maybe from other host, but no worries since the house is there. My advice, the host should use own photos. The cleaner should clean all the dust properly, since many lamps are reachable(hanging types). Maybe if the teabag/coffee/sugar provided as a courtesy, it would made the tenants much happier. The elevator is the main access to go to all interesting places here. Please study all the difference elevators which can bring u to the desired place. The private elevator still can bring others to the house if the go up/down button selection is pressed. So be careful to not mistakenly allow young kids to play with it. Overall, i enjoyed the stay and worth the penny. Be remember to always communicate with host for any uncertainty."
