"This big hotel has 17 floors and it is quite modern and luxurious. The rooms are way bigger than is normal in hotels in Chiang Mai. Our room on the 16th floor had a great view, and was just one floor below the rooftop where there is also a pool. There is another pool and a small gym on the 5th floor. There are some restaurants in the hotel, and two on the rooftop, of which one has a live band playing most nights. The cocktails that are served are also not bad. It is not located in the old centre of Chiang Mai but more close to the hipper and newer Niman neighborhood. A lot of restaurants, bars and shops can be found here. It is also on the way to Doi Suthep. All in all, I was very satisfied and I did not expect to have such a great time at a big chain hotel."

"Stay with Nimman was the best hotel we stayed at throughout our travels around Thailand. The price was amazing for such a great quality place. Everything in our room, from the sheets to the bathroom, was spotless. And free minibar and waters? Yes! It is a bit of a walk to old town, but it is easy to take one of those red trucks. Also, there is a lot to do around Stay with Nimman as it is a more modern growing location. A must try in Chiang Mai is khao soi noodles!"

"It was hard to find a hotel which accommodate 4 people before going chiang mai. U Nimma Chiang Mai was only one options I can choice and it has been found that it is the best hotel in chiang mai since gool locations and reasonable price ( considering facilites) and kind staffs as well. but if you have plan to enjoy swimming pool you will be a bit disappointed due to size of it. Despite of this, we will be satisfactory with swimming pool owing to cleaness and view showing the main city and road. by the way, if you guys have plan to go chiang mai and still looking for hotel. you' d better to book here now. believe me. "I have stayed at many hotels in Chiang Mai on business trips. This one was by far the best in the downtown area near the Night Bazaar. For me, location is very important in Chiang Mai. This is the best hotel in the location if you want luxury at a good value. The food here was very good also. This was our first time taking young children with us to Chiang Mai. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the children who were ages 1 and 3. We will definitely come back to the Centara. We love Chiang Mai."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, from the very first to the last minute! All the staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was stunning! The design is really nice, modern but warm, with an eye on all the details. The bed was very comfortable and big, the bathroom is nice and spacious and of course, the bathtub is gorgeous. A very romantic room and also the drinks/snacks provided are very nice. The other facilities of this hotel are also nice. The rooftop pool is nice, not very big but big enough for a dip and the bar is a nice place to chill. We only tried the restaurant during breakfast, which was also very well arranged and delicious. The location is also good, a nice area with coffee cafes around the hotel and it is easy to take a grab to the old quarter (or you can even walk). We would love to come back here when we are in Chiang Mai! "

"In July 2011 I went to Thailand with my family, 2 adults & 2 children (5 & 12 years old. For our 6 day stay In Chiang Mai we chose the Raming Lodge based on the very positive reviews on Agoda. The positive rating of this hotel turned out to be well deserved & the hotel was even better than expected. The Raming lodge was one of the best hotels of our Thailand trip. We got connecting rooms which are very practical for families (but quite difficult to find in Thailand). Rooms were really charming: nicely decorated, spacious, well equipped (air-conditioning, fridge, wardrobes,…)& clean. There was also a swimming pool at the hotel, which was highly appreciated by our children. Breakfast (included in the roomrate) was good & varied. There was a good choice of western & Asian food. The restaurant of the hotel also served good food at lunch. Note that there are several other restaurants in the street, so you don’t need to go very far to have a meal if you prefer to eat outside the hotel. Staff was very kind, helpful & smiling. It is clear that the Raming Lodge does everything to please the guests. We booked a 2 day/1 night trek at the travel agency of the hotel. The trek was of high quality & well organized. It was not more expensive than in other travel agencies. As we booked the trek at the hotel we got vouchers for a free foot massage at the spa of the hotel. The massage was really relaxing & performed by specialists. The Raming Lodge is very well located, just in between the Night Bazar & the old city of Chiang Mai. Everything is at walking distance. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are some go-go bars in the street nearby the hotel but this was not at all disturbing. Street was safe. We strongly recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a charming well located hotel in Chiang Mai. This hotel is also perfect for families & those who want to take some rest & take benefit of a spa."

"This hotel ( They call themselves a House because they want guests to feel like home, and they made it) is a true gem! It is a brand new hotel, but they made the building to look like it was built during the colonial time. The design is just simply elegant and luxurious. Besides the beauty of the hotel I found outside, the service is also amazing from 'inside' - all smiles everywhere. I enjoyed the complimentary afternoon snack they serve daily at their Ghin restaurant. The minibar in the room is also free. The breakfast was just superb - with so many choices. What I like the most is their private pool suite which is so nice and relaxing! My waterfall pool suite has outdoor bathtub and shower area and a waterfall ! (I've paid for an upgrade to the pool suite) I believe that this is the only hotel in Chiang Mai old town that has private pool suites ( total 14 pool suites I guess ). Do not want to leave, but I will see you again soon :) "

"The standard deluxe room is cozy and classy, all looked very new and well mantained. The cleaning was beyond expectations. HUGE TV, Bluetooth piped music system, bathroom very well provided. The common areas are charming, the breakfast delicious and abundant, and the restaurant is great (we were given a 500 thb voucher on arrival). The location is very convenient, and the personnel attention, simply exquisite. I will go back to the Old Town Hotel my next time in Chiang Mai, for sure. Just book this hotel, you will not regret."
