Very well-run guesthouse, nearly a business hotel”
This place felt more like a business hotel than a guesthouse to me - with the one exception that the internet wasn't working in the rooms. But overall, the place was exceptionally modern and comfortable, and it had a nice breakfast buffet. It had nice in-room features like an electric kettle, desk, closet, tv, and a fantastic shower. For what we paid I thought this was an exceptional value. The location isn't super convenient if you don't have a car, but there's a grocery store within walking distance (daylight hours only) and there is a shuttle service.

not very impressed”
I only stayed at this guest house once on a Saturday night, it was very noisy on a Sunday morning as I noticed that there is church that rents a conference room that is right next to bedrooms. The church band was very loud to such an extent that I could not even enjoy the morning. Breakfast time cut off was 9.00 am which is rather too early, which meant I had to rush to have breakfast. The building is not located in a convinient place other than that rooms were clean and nice

It's always my first preference of hotels. It's situated in quite street,low price. beautiful garden that connect you with the nature. I would love to listen water fall it will bring that tranquility.

Nice guest house in a quiet residential area”
The big downside if this guest house is that the swimming pool was removed few months ago and we did not know about it. If you want to swim you have to go to the sister hotel a few minutes away and swim in a tiny pool which is not heated. Otherwise the service and accommodation is high quality, the free internet is very slow.

Our stay was made even more pleasurable because of the manager Phillip. He was very friendly and helpful with our stay. He made sure we were able to see the places we wanted. We did not want to do a tour with other tourist or the usual sites, so he provided a knowledgeable guide that helped us go to the sites that we wanted. We went to a traditional medicine shop. After that we had the driver drop us off at a shopping center. When we did not return with the driver he made sure to note where we were dropped off just in case. He made sure that we felt extremely safe.

Not the best location if you don't have a car. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast and shuttle to the airport. Free wifi in the common areas. Some airport noise. If you are staying for a few days and have car, it's a great place to explore the city of Joburg. Staff is extremely helpful

Very clean. Close to airport and good value for price. WiFi access poor in some rooms; I had to change rooms to get reliable signal. Some small details make this not a 4*. Specifically: Entire water faucet moved when you turned it on, not just the handle Toilet paper holder also not tight to wall, so roll fell off No outlets near bed: I charged my phone across the room so I had to get out of bed to see what time it was.

Nice place to stay, but from 02h00 the noise of the planes flying in and out of OR Tambo was not good if you wanted to sleep. The staff was very helpful and especially when I had a special request to have breakfast very early in the morning. It is also close to the East Rand Mall for shopping, restaurants, etc.

Stay was good, value for money, wanted to be close to OR tambo. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that there were people outside my room braiing (bbq) and kept me awake with their loud voices, but that's not the guest house's problem, otherwise a Nice pleasant stay

Standard guest house with standard features ”
the drainage system in our bathroom was not working and we notified the reception but nothing was done to fix it.we had to take a shower standing in dirty water.also the telephone and network cables in our room were untidy and not covered.the telephone should be located beside the bed for convenience sake not where they put it.it is stressful to get out of bed at night when the phone rings to go and answer it.other than relaxing in our room there were no other activities offered.also they serve the same type of breakfast everyday which is a bit boring.it was difficult to sleep at night with noise of aeroplanes as well.

Outstanding customer service. Wifi did not work first night so they installed the modem in my room for me. They went out of their way to help make my stay there a great experience. Breakfast wasn't the best but was sufficient.

Convenient location”
The B&B was conveniently located near O.R. Thambo Airport. It was not warm and cosy, but felt more like a boarding school dorm. The room was freezing, and the floors are tiled, which didn't help. Carpets & an electric blanket would have gone a long way to improve my stay.
