Very very cute little dog with very kind staff and dogs (kiwi and jingle bells) ~ room was clean and comfortable. Simple but good food selection or you can take a walk up to Rorys or the seafood spots. Thank you!

The staff is very kind, facilities are good especially near beach & swimming pool, but far from night market, somebody takes motorcycle doesn't care about distance, anyway if you stay here, u can feel cozy n comfortable itself.

A missed opportunity”

If only the resort's beach water was clean and there were no swamps of mosquitoes, I would easily recommend this friendly, quiet and cute resort to everyone. Unfortunately I couldn't swim in the sea because it was so dirty. I guess it was out of the resort's controll, but still, very disappointing. Otherwise, the staff was wonderful, helpful and attentive. The resorr itself was very cute and well-maintained.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED ”

When we booked this we knew there was no beach beach but we saw that they had a huge pool. So it balanced it out from the area not having a beach beach. The road was aweful which we knew from other people reviews, but we didn't care as much about the road, it is what it is. I think they are building a road. When we got to the resort the manager and the staff was really nice, the resort looks very nice with a bunch of trees and flowers. Than we saw the pool and OMG the water was green and we thought maybe its the bottom of the reflection of the tile. So we went inside the pool and we realize it wasn't the tile it was actually the water, the filter was broken. We told the manager and he apologized, and he will get it fix. It finally got fix the day we left lol. We were super disappointed. The room was big, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is big as well and it was indoors (so thats a plus) didn't had to worry about going to the bathroom and getting bit.

New Facilities, Good Quality, Small Beach”

Wildland Resort was a bit more expensive than my other destinations, but I'm happy to say that it's also very clean and new. Everything works as it should, so coming here is a safe bet. You can also rent (a pretty beat up) scooter and head north, where you can stop for a cold drink and a better view of the beach at another resort. Hence the best thing Wildland could do next is to improve their access to the sea, since their lot is quite small. Also, outside their property everything is covered in trash.

If you want action and nightlife then this might not ne the right place for you. On the other hand, if you seek peace and privacy this is the absolut correct choice for you. Sure it takes some time to get there by taxi, but I think it’s well worth the money and effort. Pure heaven to me.

Great value - super service - nice place”

Have stayed 10 days at Wildland Resort. Very cozy place - Nice and clean pool Great bungalows with bath Fantastic staff. Nice BAR man Mr. Thekene, great service in the rest. Great food done of Mr. Hoan and the always smiling Ms. Huen. A really nice trekking trip with Ms. Huyen, who was a sweet and helpful guide. Finally the front desk the always smiling and skillful Ms. Olga and Mr Thang, yes all made our stay great We skept scooter because the road was under renovation. Went some nice walking tours, but allover WL is a bit isolated, therefore we missed a free shuttel bus to both the near village and the main city Duong Dong just a couple of times / week. Wildland is great value and offer a good and fair well done dining card. Highly recommended Michael Denmark

It was quite isolated which was lovely for a few days to relax. I booked for one night and ended up staying for 3. The staff was wonderful - I don't eat meat/seafood the majority of the time and they were wonderful to accommodate that (most everything on the menu has meat and seafood, eggs, milk) they made rice noodles and tofu special for me etc.... I found the pool and beach clean, it would have been nice if there were more pads for the lounge chairs but I didn't ask for extra either. The bathroom in my room had a few cobwebs but was otherwise clean I don't think staying essentially in a jungle you can escape all bugs - just mentioning it for fair warning. The road there is under construction but that seems to be moving along quickly I bet in another month it will be done, many patches are. you can rent motorbikes on site and there are other resorts within walking distance for some variety with meals. I was a little disappointed not to get a massage on the beach... lol I was spoiled at the last resort but like I said it's off the beaten path. I would definitely stay again if I was ever in the area, I would just specify dietary preferences ahead of time.

This is a very awesome place, very suitable for resting your mind. Although the location is not very adequate due to bad road (work in progress) it is still worth staying. Very friendly and polite staff

Best hotel at Phu Quoc Island.”

Very good clean hotel, huge portions of tasty meals during our stay, young, friendly and enthusiastic staff and especially Mt. Thang was amazing. If you are able to deal with crazy orange sandy and dusty road this place is good for exploring east coast of Phu Quoc island. Unfortunately only the beach is not so good because of shallow water in the area and windy side of the island but you have pool here.

we will stay here 3 nites and have some comments: 1. Advantage: new hotel with good equipement, with swimming pool, nice staff 2. Hotel stay far away from center, the road to hotel very bad and there are so many mosquitoes in hotel. One thing is the beach not recommend for swimming as it's not good beach here at all. If you look for good beach, you should stay in Duong Dong centre with strong wave beach and clean, pure water.

Semi-Operational”

The guy running this place was kind and friendly and staff were also nice. However the whole operation is not done professionally and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here unless they had a very specific reason for wanting to stay on the east side of the island. We stayed here because we were cycling around the island and it was a sensible place to stop for the evening. - The pool was green from not being maintained properly, also the pool cleaning equipment had been just left next to the pool - There were rusting trashcans out side of the rooms - The kitchen is only semi-functional and can provide only limited offerings unless by special request - The beach is not good for swimming in on this side of the island - One of the mini bar refrigerators in our rooms didn't work - They left all of a guest's dirty dishes and glasses out on a table next to the pool after a meal overnight (to me this is unforgivably sloppy). - They let all of the beach chair cushions out overnight and they were rained on and thus unusable in the morning - None of the staff had any hospitality training - Complimentary toiletries were low quality

Amazing resort in paradise.”

Wildland Resort had the most personable and friendly staff I have ever encountered. The first day we got there we were tired and thirsty from a day of traveling. Thong climbed up a tree, threw down some coconuts and cracked them for us right there. Normally resort food is not good, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food is delicious and very fresh, right from the fishing village next door. Thong also took us snorkeling and we saw some beautiful coral, along with the spectacular view of the island itself. We will be back, thanks Thong!

Paradise found ”

Looking for a quiet resort to relax for a few days, we found this paradise! The journey began with an uncomfortable car ride on a dusty road fulled of pot holes, but it was worth the trouble once we got there. The mountain on one side and the ocean on the other. The beach was clean and the water was calm and so clear we could see fishes swimming. The beach was so shallower that, on some spots at 200 meters out from the shore, the water barely reached our waistline. And the view from there was Amazing! Our bungalows were as expected, clean and modern with comfortable king size beds and the pool was beautiful. The staffs were friendly and helpful but not quite ready to run a resort yet. The restaurant had a very limited menu and the cook seemed amateur at best. We would have stayed longer if the food was good. Still we love this resort and would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful resort”

We just planned 1-day stay for shooting wedding photos around the area of Ham Ninh fishing village. We chose Wildland Resort as it is the only available resort around this area. The road from airport to the Resort was quite challenging as it is rainy season, and the road was just full of soil and mud. A little of disappointment appeared in my head. However, when arriving to the Resort, I was informed by Mai Linh tax driver that the Resort has signed contract with Mai Linh taxi for complimentary airport pick-up: 1 point for Wildland. The most unexpected and interesting thing is that the scene of the beach in front of the Wildland Resort is amazing. This is the second time I come to Phu Quoc, and when discovering the beautiful scene of the beach in front of Wildland Resort, I know that I made the right choice unexpectedly, and I cancelled the plan to take the photos at Bai Sao beach, or other places, but to spend the time here. The staff, some from Hanoi, are very nice and helpful. When staying in such a "middle of nowhere" resort, you do not have any choice but to eating at the resort. I thought it will be very expensive. But no, the food is cheap, really cheap, when it just costs me USD8 for a lunch for two. The dishes are simple, but the chef is good: I got good appetite there. When I check out to head to another resort for photo shooting at another place, they still offer to give me a ride to the city. They said that they have free airport pickup/drop off for guest, but I do not go the airport, then they will drop me to the city centre, from where I can easily go to my location: Wonderful. Lastly, the Resort worths every single dollar you spend. Recommend for any one who loves quite places, with beautiful beach scene for photo shooting.

Resort molto carino nella parte dell'isola piu' selvaggia. Fuori dal resort non c'e' nulla quindi è necessario avere uno scooter per muoversi. Gli scooter sono disponibili alla reception. camere pulite staff gentile, bella piscina la spiaggetta è piccola e ricavata dal mare. Perfetto per relax e per viaggi con bambini piccoli.
