I stayed 10 nights, the room is very beautiful bungalow garden, 4km diffrent from Duong Dong, 10 minutes to Ong Lang beach and Dinh Cau beach, staff is nice, there are few nice cheap restaurant around. Good location if you use bike. Like to stay here a gain next time visit island. Good price also

Good value for money”

Quite cheap, nice view to large garden with jack fruit trees. Rooms are not too close. Pictures on website are of delux room, not correct for the standard bungalow. A bit far from beach (3km to Ong Lang beach, 10' on scooter) and 4km from the downtown, suitable for those want to relax & get away. The amenities are poor, you'd better bring your own toothbrush & paste, shampoo & body wash. They provide two 0.5 litter water bottle on the first day only, and only change towels / make up room at request. TV is quite small, a fridge is there, and a wall fan, a/c.

Super friendly staff who spoke good English ”

I felt so comfortable at chillbox. Immediately I was greeted with a cup of juice and a big smile. The staff were so friendly and sweet. It seemed like it was run by females which made me feel more comfortable as I am a female solo traveler. The facility was close enough to Bui Vien but far away enough that you didn’t hear too much traffic and honking. They provided water everyday, and the wifi was strong. They also provided breakfast for no additional cost. I don’t normally write reviews but I was very impressed with the service at this place. Definitely would recommend!!

We had a great stay at the resort! Great value for money and breakfast delivered to you doorstep.. the staff was really nice and friendly! It's around 4km from the main village, but with the motorbike you'll be there in ten minutes. It was nice and quiet place! Definitely would recommend

Beautiful hotel, friendly and accommodating staff”

I had a nice stay at Tang Thanh Phat hotel. The standard room I had was large and comfortable enough for two people. It felt like my own little house with a shared wall with the neighbor. I got windows with garden view on three sides of the room. It was a corner room in a four-room cottage . Each room got its own spacious entry that looked sort of like a patio and a nice solid wooden door. The cottages were pretty new with tile flooring throughout and very clean and beautiful. Air conditioner was new and worked great. Plenty of hot water for shower. A lot of electrical outlets in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. They kept for me my money , credit cards , tablet , and phone so I didn't have to bring them to the beach. I also left these things in my bag in my room and it was safe. I also borrowed stuff like a water boiler, a little knife to cut fruit, a bucket to rinse my clothes and received everything very quickly. I used the hotel free bicycle every day. It was pretty new and worked great and I totally enjoyed riding to a nice, calm and swimming beach (Ong Lang) about 2 km from the hotel and also to the Duong Dong town also about the same distance in the opposite direction. I just had to apply care and courtesy as should be when riding on the streets and was very safe when riding. There were small places to eat along the street -or highway, not too far from the hotel that were pretty good, clean and very cheap, like about a dollar for a meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). The hotel offers breakfast that was not part of the room rate, the menu and price were not bad but I didn't try it yet. May be next time! Overall I had a great stay at Tang Thanh Phat and would recommend it for people who like to have a quiet, relaxing, safe, and affordable vacation at the beautiful Phu Quoc island.

It was too isolated and we had no internet access initially. They had only 3 bikes available and other guests were using 2 of them, so we had no bikes for us. And the bed is really hard.

It was a really good place for the amount of money u pay. But the food is not yummy so i suggest u rent a bike and go out and eat. Bike renting there is cheap. The homestay is clean beautiful and for a cheap room u even get aircond and fan. Good value for money.

The place is far away from the centre so you always need a taxi or ride a motorbike to go anywhere.

A remote hideaway”

Brand new buildings, but a bad design: The large bathroom could have easily been designed with an isolated shower, but no - it's the same old story of a one-room toilet/shower. There is a lack of furniture: No suitcase stand and no drawers or shelves for clothing. There is a closet with hangers. I was in a standard room at the back, and so my wifi was weak. This place is in the middle of nowhere. It's a $7 cab ride to Long Beach. You can also rent a motorbike, but just keep in mind that many insurance companies do not cover accidents if you are driving or riding on a motorbike.

While a few kms from town, this hotel is a very good place to spend the night after exploring the island. The room is very clean with tall ceilings and a nice bathroom. They offer motorbikes for 150k dong per day (~7 USD). The room service food is delicious and very reasonably priced at an average of 4.5 USD per dish.

Fantastic, cosy, friendly family business ”

It was a great experience, so far the best accommodation that we had in Vietnam. Everything is brand new as the resort was opened only last year. The team does not speak fluent English but they are really helpful, committed to their guests and hospitable. And the food was absolutely gorgeous! Everything homemade, tasty, seafood absolutely great! Even option to pay your final bill by credit card. The location is not directly at the beach but we found it rather as a pro than a con. You can escape from the touristic resorts on the beach and get better quality of food for lower price. They offer bikes for free so you can get some excersise while going to the beach (aprox. 15mins). Just don't forget to bring some torch for the way back if it's already getting dark. They do not offer trips around the island but you can book some close to the beach- our top recommendation: Ms. Kiem on the way to Bo resort.

OK, the hotel is very far from everything. Thought it would be closer. But we rented a moto from the hotel at a good rate, so it was fine.
