Terrible, disappointing experience!”
It was not my first time to rent a condo unit for a little get-together with friends, but it was certainly my first time to experience terrible service. 1. The owner was unreachable. I called her but her phone number is unreachable. I emailed her, confirming my booking, and she only replied with a short, curt reply 1 day before our scheduled stay. I then asked her for a number I can call, but she never replied. 2. On the day of our stay, she didn't leave us with any instructions on how to enter her unit. We didn't even know which building her unit was in. We were clueless and had to ask the guards for help. She did give them my name and some forms to complete but she did not freaking leave a key. 3. I emailed her, telling her that we were already there, waiting for the key. Never replied at all. 4. We were only able to enter the unit after the building guard found an unmarked key and tested it. Thank goodness the door opened. 5. Upon entering the unit, we found it dusty, dull, and obviously not well-maintained. The walls were dirty, the curtain rod holding the curtains for the sliding doors was bent in the middle, and the bathroom was not clean. The pail she put inside, supposedly for bathing, looked like a used trash can. There were some clutter left on the dining table. Metal chairs were unceremoniously piled on top of each other in one corner. We had to wipe the tables and slightly rearrange the things inside to make it presentable. 6. When we opened the sliding doors, the bent curtain rod fell. Good thing it didn't hit any of us on the head. When we returned the curtains, we saw that they were literally crumbling. Obviously never laundered and replaced. It's possible that the sheets on the beds were not freshly laundered, too. 7. Contrary to other rental condo units - units charging the same daily rate - this one was bare. Neither basic toiletries nor coffee sachets or even mineral water were provided.
