Family-friendly”

I prefer to stay here again with my family of two small kids as the family room and ambience of facilities are more conducive than the other 3- and 2-star inns we previously stayed in in Davao. It’s close to the airport, conveniently across Damosa and walking distance to SM Lanang, restaurants and pharmacy.

The hotel is accessible to public transportation. My booking was without breakfast but no worries because the hotel is surrounded by food establishments. The hotel has a restaurant also. Those on a budget, Mcdonalds is also just accross the street. There is no complimentary coffee in the room though.As to drinking water, the guest needs to fetch the water in the lobby where the water dispensee is . While a little incovenient but i pressume this is the hotel's way of helping the invironment, that is, lessening the use of single use plastic bottle of water so just ok. Greatly appreciated. We used google maps in locating place but when voiceover says "You have arrived at your destination" , the hotel was not there! We are on the right street but the hotel is still 500 to 1000 meters down the road! Please correct this error,if you can.

We can hear sounds of other guests in the hallway. Room is a bit dark because of lightings used. Other than that, eveything is good.

It's one of the greatest hotel in Davao. It may not be luxurious or fancy but its super clean, very comfortable beds and spacious rooms...plus its near SM Lanang Premiere and just infront of McDonalds.

Excepcional”

Our stay here was awesome. Location is perfect, surrounded by lots of restaurants. There's also a grocery store across the street if you need something to buy. Our room was huge, 2 queen beds for 2 people. And I really appreciate the fact that they have a water dispenser along the hallway.

Clean and budget Friendly Hotel”

Hotel Check-in and out was a breeze. Hotel Staff are 5 star. They know what they are doing and is eager to help in anyway they can. Many restaurants and malls within 10-15mins around the hotel (by taxi) Room is huge with two queen size bed. Too big for solo Traveller. Renovated and clean bathrooms. Light too dim. Needs to add additional lighting. Some furniture are outdated (old) Would highly recommend this for budget consious and big family hotel.

The location is very ideal for business purposes. Keep in mind that traffic jam is inevitable in Davao city. so a 5 min walk to SM lanang is a plus. Since it's busy area, transportation is great and food options are also within close proximity. I will stay here again

great stay”

this is the second microtel that I have stayed in and the quality of their service and rooms are the same... exceptionally functional. even though it's a budget hotel they have not let their standards fall. my only observation is that breakfast could be better prepared and have a bit more variety

Family affair”

My default choice of hotel in the city whenever we come home for a visit. No frills hotel just basic but always accomodating. Big rooms for family. Clean, safe and secure. Just let the staff know if you prefer the higher rooms away from the noise. My family prefer to get breakfast outside the hotel. Fridge provided. Hot and cold water is available outside the room. Cups and coffee sachets in the room.

Comfortable Big Beds”

Not so much to expect except their big comfy beds! The hotel needs renovation. Although cleanliness is well maintained. They are very particular as to the numbr of room guests. Overall, im still satisfied with my stay with this charming hotel.

Very nice big rooms”

I love this hotel. I would probably return here. They have big rooms with 2 queen beds and big clean rest rooms. Buffet breakfast is really good. Plus the location is convenient with many restaurants outside your hotel. It's also near Abreeza mall and SM Lanang. They also have safety parking space with security guards.

Excellent Location, value for the money.”

I've always loved the location of this hotel. McDonalds is across the street, a good number of restaurant within walking distance around the area. A few minutes away from SM Lanang, near the airport. Service is great. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Water dispenser is very conveniently placed on the lobby with 24/7 free coffee. We booked (2) rooms and we were all very comfortable except for our water heater issue, we had to shower without hot water and we were too in a hurry to complain. The airconditioner was old and noisy which kept my sister awake the entire night. But other than that, everything else was great. Service was excellent. will surely go back.

over priced but great hotel with nice location”

Had i nice stay the staff was friendly. The room clean and new. The price was high i feel for staying in a 3rd world country. dollars a night and no free water, or internet so that was a negative but after the previous stay i was happy to be in a clean hotel

Huge Bed, Excellent Location”

Everytime my entire family visits Davao we always stay at Microtel and get (3) rooms, (2) persons per room. :) We absolutely love the bed in this hotel, the bed is big and comfy. Breakfast is simple but sumptuous. During this stay, as always, we got our usual (3) rooms, the (2) other rooms were fine, but the room my sister and I stayed at was unfortunately along the commercial strip wherein a live band plays during weekends, it was really noisy until 1-2 in the morning, but we love this hotel so much that we didn't exactly mind. It would've been a different story though if it was my parents who stayed in that room. Just a heads up when you check-in, don't get that room if you're sensitive with noise and all. The location was great, the Ayala Mall is really near this hotel. There was a church close by as well. Across the hotel there's a number of restaurants to choose from, you'll never go hungry. There were housekeeping trainees during our recent stay and they did a lousy and lazy job cleaning the bathroom, they didn't pay attention to the small but important details. However, the main housekeeping were great though. We were happy with the service. All in all, I'll definitely recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here until we'll discover a better one or until their service and the hotel itself deteriorates. For now, we're happy. :)

Great Location and Clean Rooms”

value for the price. rooms are big and clean. make sure you book the ground floor rooms because there are no elevators although the hotel only has 2 floors. walking distance to restaurants and 10 minutes to the abreeza mall by taxi. i have been booking this hotel eversince and would definitely stay with them whenever i am in davao.

Surprisingly decent rooms despite lower prices”

This hotels provides some of the best a hotel has to offer at a fraction of most other well known hotels in the city. The best feature is the chiropractic bed which guarantees that a person will have no problems sleeping. Staff are willing to help you with any additional requests if you ask them. I can't complain at all. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay.

The room was spacious with big twin beds and was clean all the time. It has a sofa near the window. Drinking water dispenser is available in the hallway, so I don't have to call the staff for water. The hotel is accessible to SM Lanang and to fastfood and other restaurants. The staff were so kind and very helpful to my needs.

Very close to shopping center”

The hotel is just a walking distance from the shopping areas and very accessible to taxis. The area is clean and the hotel staff is helpful. We booked with the breakfast at an additional cost but it's much cheaper than you dine at nearby restaurants. Although they could improve their breakfast menu.

Basic & clean”

It was close to my customer, clean and no frills. Internet was ok, breakfast really limited. Only negative: difficult to get coffee to the room as nothing foreseen
