Nice but too expensive ”
We actually got a sale deal so what we paid was okay, but it’s normal rate is extortionate. Food is very very over priced in reception cafe. Very comfortable bed, great shower, wonderful staff, very good breakfast. Light switches in room very confusing. One light we couldn’t find switch for to turn off, bad smell from sink drains.

This pandemic is difficult for everyone so let me put that here. I stayed in Jr Suite. Booked 3 deluxe rooms as well. I am only speaking for the room where I spent the night with kids and family. I found 2 dead big roaches in my bathroom. I had to call maintenance to check on my aircon. Room is not child friendly, everything is within reach of my 2 year old as compared to Hyatt Residences where I stay during business trips. With that being said. What made me enjou this property is the staff. I call, they respond, I ask, they answer and provide any help I needed. I will definitely come back to this property when things are back to normal.

VALENTINES GET-AWAY (?) 2020”
On my first visit to the place, the facility is awesome, but the parking area and the security service was terrible. the 1st guard told me to drive up left for there will be another guard to lead me. The second guard saw my metallic red car approaching the circular driveway but made no motion of whether I go left or right. It is only when I turned left that he instructed me to go right. Then from there, I descended to what he described as the parking area. But I was refused entry for the reason that accordingly, the parking area was already full. But I can see very well that there are unoccupied spaces. The third guard motioned me to drive straight and there will be guards to lead me into the available parking area. I could see the guards saw me but did not approach me to lead me to the place. I still had to roll down my window and made hand motion for them to approach me. They led me to a NARROW path leading to a god-forsaken parking place. Very bad service.

Failed Promise from DUSIT D2”
A 5-star (is Dusit D2 a 5-star??) is expected to treat their guest excellently. Repeated FAILED PROMISES is a NO NO! We (I & my wife) was having our breakfast at Madayaw, I asked a male waiter (forgot his name) if they still have macaroons as I like it. That was around 945am. His reply was yes sir, I will have this refill. I waited for about 2-3 minutes (standing), and he told me that he will deliver nalang in our table. About 5-10 minutes has passed & I go back to the area, but he again told to that he will deliver it to out table. More than 15-minutes passed, still there was none!!! I again made a follow up, this time he is saying " sir, wala pa naluto, e-deliver nalang namo sa inyong room". He even asked for our room number. But , again NO DELIVERIES were made. 3 failed promises for a poor DUSIT HOTEl!!!
