Close to the airport ”

We needed accommodation close to the airport on our final night in hcm and chose Erato. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and around 30k dong from the airport. Staff don’t speak much English and are not really overly friendly, but it’s just checking in and out. Not a big deal. Rooms at the front do get some road noise.

When we stayed at Erato Boutique Hotel the place had probably just opened: be mindful that the review we post here may not be at all representative anymore. From experience these hotels are great value for the first few months/year(s) but then decline a lot.

Good place close to the airport”

I come here all the time when I have an early plain or only planning to stay one night in ho Chi Minh. it's clean. the rooms are quite small but since I'm alone I don't mind. The shower is good and the bed is great. It's literally just a 5 minute walk to the airport

Perfect Airport Transit Hotel ”

I had an early flight to catch therefore moving here from the city centre. Will recommend the hotel for those who needed to be close to the airport, not the city centre. Although the centre still is pretty close, but you wouldn’t want to travel back and forth don’t you? I had only a one night stay and was very pleased with what I am getting. For the budgeted price of a dorm bed, I got a room with tv, comfortable bed, private bathroom and a mini fridge, couldn’t ask for more. more than enough for a sleep and go. The staff I encountered was pleasant and speaks sufficient practical English. Plenty of mini marts and eateries with English translated menu as well. It’s convenient for visitors.

The hotel is new and clean. The price is reasonable. However, the receptionist wasn't polite.”

On January 12, 2017, I booked the premium family room at Erato Boutique online. The room consists one double bed and two single beds. However, when I received the room, the receptionist gave me a room with two double beds and a sofa. That wasn't the right one and it didn't have enough space for my group to stay in. After arguing with the receptionist for 10 minutes and then finally she gave me the right room that I had booked.

New, Clean, close to airport, cheap”

I believe this is a new hotel so don't be thrown off by the lack of reviews. Our room was a double room (two twins pushed together). Bed didn't come apart due to it being two twins which was good. Room was very clean and new. TV had a digital cable Box and was a new Samsung (still had plastic protectors around the edge). Bathroom very clean, looked like we were the first people to use it and the shower had a glass sliding door which is the first I have seen in 2 months of travelling SE Asia. Room is definitely basic but very clean. For the price I was extremely happy. If you want somewhere close to the airport you should absolutely stay here.

Very well-located hotel which is 5' from Tan Son Nhat international airport. New equipment, friendly staff and cosy room made me feel like at home. Besides, the promotional price was very worthy for such a good hotel. I surely will come back.

Close to the airport”

Great location for an extended airport layover. Erato is a short distance from the domestic terminal but it is a "roundabout" walk because the roads and intersections do not directly connect the two locations. There are many convenience stores, cafes and local food options around the hotel.

Convenient location close to the airport”

I stayed at Erato Hotel for a few hours (my plane got in at 2am and I left at 7am) and would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to crash before an early morning flight. Its relatively close to the airport so its possible to walk to the airport. It is clean and basically serves its purpose. The staff is OK - he wasn't particularly friendly but he was polite -, which is reasonable when one is checking in at the early hours of the morning. Note that the walls are somewhat think and the light from the bathroom window can get into the sleeping area. But overall, as I said, it serves its purpose.

Night Security man immediately helped with heavy luggage up steps outside hotel 2am. Young man at reception unfriendly. Gave me keycard refusing to help. Not shown to room. Had to guess where to go. Following evening awakened 11.30pm with 2 men trying to enter my room. Door catcher stopped them from opening door fully. The actual latch lock was faulty not entering the correct position on door frame. On complaining later told 2 drunk men had forced night reception to unlock door to my room. I accepted mistakes made and will go back if room has secure lock. The hotel is very clean and day Manager very helpful. Only short walk to airport if fit to do so. Personally a bit dizzy on arrival as was hot-had to transport a heavy backpack plus suitcase. Best hotel in area though. Handy for walking to the park. Very friendly families there so ended up a good experience. Check all locks.

Basic hotel convenient to the airport”

This no frills budget hotel is perfect for convenience to Tan Son Nhut airport. Good food options and coffee shops within walking distance. I am happy we found this place!

Good Airport Hotel”

The hotel is clean and easy to find. The room, The bed has a good mattress and the bathroom is clean and well appointed. The air-conditioner worked well it was quiet. If you want peace and quiet request a room not facing the highway. At all hours there’s traffic noise. The main problem with the hotel is getting service from the airport. Most taxis don’t want to short trip and the people that you want to charge 100,000 Vietnam dong or more for a 20,000 Dong trip. Many there have fake Uber Cards and fake stories why they have to charge so much. You may be able to order a Grab taxi from inside the airport. I didn’t try this. Other than these problems the hotel it’s OK. Better to open up a Grab account while you’re in Vietnam. The prices are lower and the service is better. Less hassles.

Good location for me as close to the airport second time I’ve used it , staff very friendly and helpful with the exception of the morning guy that checked me out as l forgot to bring the key down with me but thought he would go up and get it the same time he checked the room and fridge but instead he just gestured with a hand signal as to say we’ll just go back and get it and that l did , not a big deal but disappointed me as he was the only staff member at a hotel in Vietnam that had no respect for customers or elders.but all aside l would recommend this hotel strongly

Good location, Clean and Helpful Staff”

Located near to the airport. It is very convenient with a convenient store beside it. Besides, there are some places for us to have our meal after we arrived at the hotel at 10:++p.m. The staff is very friendly that he brought us to our room to make sure that we can get into the room. A good place to have a short stay if you need to transit to the other place next day.

Location may not be perfect bec it is quite far from tourist spots. However, since bus transpo in vietnam is good, i could say its location is not an issue. There’s also a lot of restaurants from cheap ones to not so cheap resto to choose from. I’m a big fan of pho so this location is great for me. Its proximity to the airport gives you this comfort that you won’t miss your flight :) Receptionist are cery accommodating, the room is perfect. But i wish they could install an aircon in the lobby instead of a big fan. Overall, i’d rate this hotel 4.5 out of 5!

Excellent Facility & Staff”

I selected this hotel because of it's close proximity to the airport. I walked there for the adventure, and while it was fun, I probably wouldn't recommend it. Tons of taxis. Front desk made everything easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, when I needed help with the Grab driver, staff talked with the driver on the phone to let him know where I was. All around good experience.

Cleanest hotel I stayed in Vietnam”

I stayed there for the location, which is right across from the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Very comfortable and very clean. People behind the front desk when I checked in was very friendly and spoke perfect english, though one of the night shift was totally opposite. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for an affordable, good quality hotel near the airport.

Waking distance to Sài Gòn Airport.”

I need a place to crash that is closed to my next flight, and this is THE place. Friendly staff, decent room with basic needs. It’s not a resort but it offers what I need basics. Thanks. I definitely stay here on my next trip to the city.
