Could have been better”
Palawan Palm Suites has the perfect location. Very near the main roads of Malvar and Rizal streets, the market and restaurants. The rooms are pretty big for a small hotel with comfortable beds, clean sheets and it comes with a small kitchenette which unfortunately dd not have any water coming out of its faucet. but great for storing our food stuff. A big cabinet is available for our clothes. The bathroom's cleanliness can be improved. It appears that it was hastily cleaned. Not so perfect. the hotel could have been better if not for the fact that the receptionist in the afternoon failed to endorse us to the receptionist on early morning duty. Since our flight was at 6:30am, we were ready by 5:00am to go to the airport. Alas, there was no receptionist and our airport transfer was not informed of the early transpo requirement. And then, we h ad to wait for our packed breakfast which we had requested. So they hied us off to the tricycle by ourselves. Although the staff seemed apologetic, it was a real let down.

Good Value for Money”
Very budget accommodation. Positives - great helpful staff, location perfect as close to airport and across road from SM Mall, room air con works well and hot water in shower with good pressure. Negatives - no room fridge or tea/coffee facilities, no WiFi working during stay, no lift so walk up stairs to 4th floor, no in room phone to contact front desk, breakfast not always available and very minimal (rice, spring roll and fried egg) so not ideal. Better to have breakfast in mall. Would we stay again? Probably, if you plan on being away from hotel from early morning to late in day like we were then good to stay there. If you want to go back to hotel during day for rest then being able to get cold drink from in room fridge or make cup of tea would be good which at present you can't do here. So best that in mind. Additionally the room isn't cleaned each day unless you specifically ask for it. Great value for the dollars but as a budget hotel there are a few limitations. Overall 7 out of 10 for me.

a nice surprise”
I was surprised at what a nice place this was for such a low price, nice room,good tv channel choice,free wifi in the lobby, and friendly courteous staff. I had a booking problem and they cancelled the remainder of my stay with no charges or problems. great experience with this hotel.

Good clean new hotel but not very central”
Good stay, good value for money but a bit excentered and very noisy at night. There might be better options in Puerto Princesa.

BEST staff I've ever experienced. Anywhere. ”
The hotel opened not too long ago, which is good and bad. Good because it's new and clean. Bad because they were still doing some repairs/getting things set up. Location is great - few minutes walking distance from restaurants and grocery markets. The room was pretty small and the windows didn't have curtains. I don't think I would recommend this hotel were it not for their staff. They even helped us book at other hotels and provided transportation. Ana, who I believe is the manager, was probably the nicest, most helpful person I've ever dealt with at a hotel.

ultimately met our expectations prior to previous reviews about this hotel. although food is not as commendable. ambience was very homey. but the location is just too far from the terminal most especially if you intend to go to el nido, sabang or honda bay.

Great Place to Stay”
The place was great, the room that we booked was cheap but clean and spacious. The location of the hotel was very near to SM, just a few walks away. It is also near airport and other great restaurants.

Very enjoyable and comfortable”
For the price the hotel was great. I can not express my gratitude to the management and staff enough for making our stay so pleasant. They went out of their way to arrange tours at a moments notice, provided advice on local restaurants etc. and just made us so welcome. All staff had a good grasp on English which really helped.

Near mall abd town center”
Right across a new mall. Few steps away from wet market and a bunch of stores and restos. A few minutes from transpo terminal and main road. A few more minutes to the baywalk and church. Spacious room, with wifi, wash basin outside toilet, strong aircon, with ref, with hot and cold cold shower. Door with old fashioned knob and key thus allowed to keep ref working even when not in room, simple breakfast, with airport pick up and drop off. There is no exhaust or open window in the toilet/bath. Minimal toiletries. Cable tv has few channel and conks out 7 seconds every 30 seconds (asked for a replacement but did not oblige), did not fix up room (claimed they do it only every 3 days!)

Decent hotel near town center”
This is a nice small hotel near the city center and market, but not near the beach. The rooms are not big but nicely designed and somewhat new. The breakfast was basic but good. The staff was friendly and tried to provide a good service. The hotel is in walking distance to shopping areas and internet cafes.

Overall stay is fine. There are only few thing they have to work on like the amount of servings for the breakfast, The slow running water the faucets and They need to make sure that their staff is thoroughly cleaning the rooms specially the shower room. They need to fix the cable tv and the wifi. Its not working.

You have to asks for towel, soap, shampoo and tissue replacements. Odd that they don't give you new ones. They clean the room each day and that's it. Quite inconvenient after a long day.

Great place for a visit but mind traffic pollution”
Penthouse main room could fit whole family hence did not need to use 2 others small single rooms that came together. Breakfast is regular n very timely served to room. Water flow disruptions on day of checkout was somewhat irritating.

Very basic, unclean room”
Booked this hotel based on previous reviews and pictures of the hotel. However, the room was small, weathered, dingy and not properly cleaned - without any resemblance to the pictures we had seen. The staff were friendly and the breakfast adequate.

Friendly, extremely helpful staff”
Great location, right across from SM, 10-15 min walk to popular sites. Clean facilities, free breakfast was ok. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside was there is no elevator so if you are on an upper floor you have to drag your heavy luggage up several flights of stairs.

all i can say about this hotel is 'faulty towers'. i think it's a new hotel as there quite a few teething problems. however the staff were always apologetic and resolved the situations, of which there were a few!

Meeting expectations”
The hotel is generally OK, we are just frustrated with the free breakfast, the portion is so small, they could have just charged us more and gave us substantial servings.
