After having a nightmare in another location in El Nido, we moved here. Good location, walkable to town and to bus stop off. Bedroom is basic but had hot water (!) and the wifi is in and out - but working sometimes is better than a lot of places in El Nido can say. Be prepared to temper your expectations of you want to stay budget in El Nido, but if you do, I would recommend this place.

Ok if on small budget”
We stayed three nights in this cottage with my husband. It was one of the very few cheap option left when we did the booking. The room was basic but not bad - medium clean, no trash, no space for cloths but enough space. Internet is not working well and no breakfast is included. Its an easy 5-10 min walking to the beach. The owner was helpful, I had to make a call in the Philippines (flight was cancelled) and she let us use her phone. We paid for the call but it was much cheaper than if we would have use ours (with the roaming!). Overall for the cheap price comparing to other hotel in El Nido the place is not bad but its nothing special neither.

Not really the place I use to like: very poor price / quality ratio”
The place it is located very close to the center of El Nido, on the main road right at the beginning of the town entrance. THat's the main advantage. Reach the majority of the shops it is just a 5 to 10 minutes walk. On the other side I felt like the price / quality ratio was not really in equilibrium as the room did not look very generous at all, but rather very very basic and not welcoming compared to any other place I have slept in the Philippines. I guess in el Nido they can set such high prices because of the enourmous amount of tourists that are visiting the place, as the destination it is a trending one. The bathroom was the worse part. With just 5 euro more I would have found a much better accomodation. The wifi never worked while the staff was ok, but communication was minimal from their side.

Nice location and staff”
The location is on the edge of town and easy walking distance to the beach, including Corong Corong. The staff was friendly and helpful, setting up Nacpan Beach transportation and tickets for the fast ferry upon my arrival. I had to extend my stay two nights as the ferry was cancelled due to wind gusts. The room was rundown and noisy some nights (very thin walls) and received no housekeeping during my stay but the porch had a nice sitting area that faced the garden.

Need to walk down for about 15-20mins to reach the busy street of El Nido or beachline..the Brgy Maligaya Zone 1.

A Family Run Guest House”
The rooms are old and we booked two rooms, one room was full of cockroaches, then change to another room but no hot water, then finally settled on the last room. Another room with no toilet seat, then get a new one simply put on the toilet and used for two nights. Yes, cost is not high and El Nido is too full for tourists.

Highly Recommendable”
I needed a ride to get to the Port at a very early morning. But the Security Guard did not hesitate to offer me his motorbike and offered to bring me to the Port without any charge. This is an extra mile.

Great location 5 mins from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Staff is lovely and we felt so welcome, we even extended our stay for 3 more nights. Would definitely stay again!

Bad Experience”
--I reserved for a better, bigger room but they gave me a smaller, wooden room without adjusting the price, I feel short-changed. When I told them that I want the room that I paid for, the owner suggested instead that I transfer to another hotel. It was midnight, I was tired from the travels, how could she expect me to go hopping around looking for another accommodation with all my bags? Besides, I have already paid for it. --I did not receive any discount/rebate after my complaint. They just let me accept it. --It took me an hour to convince them of my confirmed booking through Agoda. --The room was really dirty. --No tv as advertised. --They transferred my things to another room the next day. It was better, it was the top floor, full cemented, clean and offered great view but still no tv, as advertised. --The owner was very friendly the next day. --Great location: walking distance to the beach, restaurants, terminal and church

Too noisy, the kitchen is near our room ,they start cooking from 4oclock in the morning and have people talking outside all night.We stay there two nights,my friend got a cold cos she can not sleep well two nights.

Cheap and unclean”
The location is convenient as it’s close to town but not amongst the noise. You can also book tours from here. However, even for a cheap room, the standards are really not up to par. I wasn’t given the double room I booked so I can assume that my reservation wasn’t even recorded. The room was dirty. There was no doorknob on the bathroom door, just a hole. The bathroom window was broken and the curtain covering it was mouldy. There was an empty square where I think a heater for the shower once was. The kitchen was noisy early in the morning and there was a very loud generator that went on in the afternoon and wasn’t turned off until later that night. For a couple of quid more you could get somewhere much nicer.

Wifis only works well at the lobby.. Not really good location. Facilities wasnt that good and there was power interruption during our stays.. Back-up generator can only supports lightings not aircons and water heaters.

Horrible stay in a dirty place ”
The room was dirty and looked much worse than the pictures would suggest. The garden looked like a construction site and there were rats and cockroaches there.

The hotel description was 3 available rooms. So we thought it would be small and quiet.. But no, there's a lot more rooms, lots people shouting just in front your window early in the morning, hanging their clothes to dry at our balcony and coming to sit at our balcony.. No privacy, no cleaning service and not value for your money..
