Worth your money for the location and staff”
Staff are very friendly and can speak English, the hotel is clean and nice. The hotel location is close to the metro and decent eateries. There's breakfast available for 12 € but we opted to go to a nearby boulangerie. We were also able to do our laundry at a nearby laundromat. There's free water bottle, coffee, and tea available at the front desk. Our only gripe is, because we've never experienced this before, the sign for do not disturb and come back tomorrow seems to be optional because the cleaner still came in to leave some treats or changed our glasses in the sink and the bedroom. Now we are here during the coronavirus scare so we were very particular about people touching our things because we've been disinfecting them. This is a small matter but they are still 5 stars and highly recommended. We stayed here for 7 nights. We will definitely return in the future. Their happy culture is great! Merci beaucoup. Hotel Magenta 38 is super.

Perfect little hotel for the money ”
This was my second time staying at Hotel Magenta 38, and I am already looking forward to my next stay. It isn’t anything fancy, but it is clean with updated rooms and a chic little lobby. Great location and staff as well.

Friendly staff”
Good location, opposite the supermarket. Staffs were very friendly. They have transport service to Airport with reasonable price (ask reception for information). To me, room size is ok, I can open my mid-sized luggage.

Well equipped with kettle for tea and complimentary water. Some of the rooms are very small and bedsize needs to be checked as my room was advertised as double but was only large single

Great breakfast, compact room”
Room is clean, but a little compact. The hotel feels safe despite being next to a busy road, albeit a bit noisy if your room window is facing the street (like ours). Request for room facing the garden if you are a light sleeper. Location of the hotel is good, within walking distance to 3 metro stations, but only 1 is a bit safe for international tourists especially from Asia countries.. we’ve been pickpocketed in Gare de l’est and apparently Chateau d’eau is a bad neighbourhood for people like us too. Breakfast at the hotel is well worth it! Plenty of food choices and they are all delicious and fresh. Plus, you’ll avoid morning thieves by just staying inside the hotel.

Great hotel and service”
Our first night we were booked in a room where the aircon is not functioning well and also the elevator was out of service. It was very difficult but the receptionist helped us carry our luggage. the next day, they moved us to a premium room and everything went well. the hotel is 10 minutes by walk to the gare de nord station and also accessible to subway stations. this hotel is very strategic.

1. Perfect location near many subway stations & nice supermarkets & good cafes and restaurants & walkable distance to main train stations. 2. Nicest staff in the world. 3. Clean room, nice view of french buildings. 4. Cute design, good vibes Can I ask for more? I would definatley stay in this hotel again. (We stayed in premium double room for 2-4 Nov 2019. Staff during our stay were the best!)

Decent value, great location”
15 mins away from Paris Nord station, and close to several metros which can hit many popular tourist attractions. A lot of good bakeries and restaurants that are famous close to this hotel. Only thing to take note is the city tax to be paid on the spot, but I guess that applies to all hotels there

Several hotels I have been to help you book tours and go out on their way to welcome visitors. Kitchen staff quite helpful but they were always running out of things. Not in a very nice area in Paris . Recently visited Edinburgh Scotland and everyone much more helpful and friendly.

Close to Train station by 5mins walk. I booked 3 person in a room & got 2 single bed & 1 foldable bed. But the foldable bed frame was not very stable & tends to fold back & making the bed slang downwards. Asked the staff to help but their housekeeping lady already not around. I have to sleep with care to avoid accident. The view of the room was nice. typical Paris window.

Needs some attention”
Small with very limited facilities. My room was modern with crisp linen and a clean look and feel. Bathroom however left much to be desired. It’s obvious the rooms were refurbished but the bathrooms were simply touched up. The basin in my room was cracked through from the rim to the plug. Not only unsightly but unhygienic. It may be that the other rooms are different - but I would choose this hotel again to easily.

Nice hotel with afforadable price”
I went to Paris with my wife, we stayed at Magenta Hotel for 4 nights. If you hesitate to choose this hotel for your trip, I can tell you that you will not disappoint with this place. It's very close to metro station just 2-3 minutes walk. I found it easy to go to the Republic square, which has a lot of restaurants. The room was nice and large compare to the other hotel room in Paris which usually small. Also the manager was very friendly and speak english very well.

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a relatively comfortable hotel at an affordable rate. Breakfast was normal. In terms of location, train stations are just nearby and within 5-7min walking distance. We even walk with our luggages to the main Paris Gare Du Nord station that is about 15min walk. Staff are also very friendly.
