Stayed during supertyphoon Haiyan”
Arrived on Nov. 5 on time and the hotel airport service is already there. Supertyphoon Haiyan struck on Nov. 8, 2013. Coron was directly hit but we were safe inside the hotel. During the lull when we were directly under the eye of Haiyan, the staff started to look after the guests and some guests were also admitted after their respective hotels were destroyed. The supertyphoon started again and the staff together with foreign and local guests are one in trying to make sure the hotel is safe and secure. Rooftop restaurant was shattered and our room ws flooded, but nvertheless there was no complaining because we are one with the rest of Coron in trying to clean up the devastation. We extended our stay since Busuanga airport was shutdown and they gave us discount on our extended stay since they know we are already lacking funds. Will certainly go back to Coron and stay again in Apertelle de Gabrielle.

Great little hotel in Coron”
The Apartelle De Gabrielle is a great little hotel in Coron. It is located down the road from a number of the dive shops and since diving was my #1 goal visiting Coron that was perfect. It was easy to get too, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Comfortable stay at Apartelle De Gabrielle”
I stayed at Apartelle De Gabrielle in January 2015. I chose the hotel primarily due to its proximity to Rocksteady Dive Centre. It is in a good location, being very close to Rocksteady, while still being within easy walking distance to the main hub of town. I booked a single room, with ensuite, which was roomy and comfortable enough. Air-con was good, and wifi signal was reasonable in my room (which compared to anything else I came across in town is as good as you'll get). The staff were friendly and helpful, and airport pickup was arranged. I would stay here again.

Good hotel”
the receptionist was accomodating. he provided an affordable tour package for island hopping. location is good (along the hiway). room is clean, the only thing is that there was a water leakage in the rest room. water drops were falling from the ceiling. not a big deal though, i just informed them about it when i checked out so they could fix. their resto is at the roof top, the view is pretty amazing. but the dasilog breakfast i ordered was so-so. fried danggit is not crispy. had the same breakfast outside the next day and it was so good(forgot the name of the resto though). in general, the apartelle is good, will probably stay here when we come back.

Friendly and accommodating staff. ”
The staff facilitated our airport transfers upon arrival and departure, the airport being quite a distance away from the Apartelle. The room is comfortable with aircon and hot shower.

Tourist friendly, very accommodating, definitely value for money”
They are very accommodating, when we arrived almost 5 hours early, together with another guest, they allowed them to stay in another room so they can rest since they’re room are still occupied. As for our trips and activities, they will arrange them for you, call and collect payment for you. The only thing you have to manage is your time because everything else will be arranged by the Hotel. The staffs are very accommodating, owners and receptionist are very helpful. As for the room, it was good, you are here not to stay but to get to the islands and beaches and enjoy the island, not the room. It is very close to everything else: restaurants, pier, and banks. Overall, they made our vacation very manageable.

Hits your budget but the TV didn't work”
It was a pleasant stay, even if the TV didn't work (but really, who cares about TV at a place like Coron right?) when we first got there after the flight we couldn't find anyone in the front desk, it took them at least 5 minutes before they can attend to us. But anyhow after filling up a form, we were escorted to our room. We didn't expect a very nice room since it was a cheap hotel but nevertheless they had the basics, air-conditioner, comfortable bed, clean toilet, and hot water. I did have a problem with the water from the sink though, which tasted like rust so brushing my teeth wasn't exactly pleasant.

A bit noisy but good for short stay”
We (5 persons) stayed at the hotel twice at the beginning and end of our tour with ship around Coron Island. The hotel is newly refurbished, clean and in perfect location. Staff is friendly and you could get everything you need. Good value for money.

Perfect for a bit of luxury”
I booked this hotel because it was close to rock steady dive centre where I had booked my dives and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. I was also happy to see I had both a fan and air-con which is good because I don't like using air-con when I am diving. It is a 5 minute walk into town but this means that it is very quiet once inside your room. The staff were friendly and helped me with my bags up and down the stairs.

Overall a good experience”
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They took care of all of our transportation and tour arrangements, and tried to accommodate all our requests to the best of their abilities. The WiFi was either very slow or undetectable in our room, so the staff moved the router inside our room. This helped a bit, but the WiFi was still very slow. The room was clean and big enough to accommodate all 5 of us in our group comfortably. Bathroom is big too.

We got to the hotel a day late because the flight got cancelled and even though we lost our first night they gave us an extra night 4 free !!! Only place in the world that would do that !!!! Besides that it is a clean quite and nice place .. Highly recommended!!

Average hotel for the budget concious”
We were a group of three. The hotel room is a little small but there are two beds that could accomodate 4 persons comfortably. The water pressure in the bathroom is weak. The cleanliness of the room is fine. The price is reasonable. The staff are accomodating. I would still rebook in this hotel.

Had to move rooms 3 times as issues and didn't get room we booked but they knocked price difference off. 5/10 mins walk to all dive shops/ restaurants/ bars do not too noisy. Staff very friendly nice view from terrace

Nice place ”
It's a really good experience. The hotel is in walking distance to the town and two good restaurants. The cafe of this hotel also has a wonderful bay view. Most importantly, they have really amazing people there. Almost everyone was being truly helpful and friendly. They helped me arranging my tour and fishing trip. I had a lot of fun there.
