convenient and accessible place to stay”
They clean the room daily. Though it is little sketchy going to the hotel and the way going there is narrow. I stayed in Fan Room and it doesn't feel hot at all inside. Though, it is noisy due to the powerplant in the area and the breakfast is not for pinoy appetite. 2 slices of bread, small jam and egg is not enough at all. Though the offer those unli drinks and fruits for breakfast.

Warm family Italian hotel”
The owner is a very nice italian person that does his best to accomodate and greet his guests. Rooms are clean, hot water is working good, and they serve breakfasts at the reception area. They even have emergency light kit in the room for the blackout case. Located next to the bus and gas station. The territory is nice, there is even a little dog. The only small downside, which is not really conected to hotel, is a lot of barking homeless dogs on the way to hotel from Coron-Coron beach. If you plan go out in for dinner, flashlights or well-charged mobiles with a strong light is a must.

Good stay!”
The room is very clean. Linens and towels smell fresh. Their shower was working well (hot shower was awesome). Rooms do not have TV but who needs one when you're on a vacay. Food was good. Wifi is terrible but expect this everywhere in El Nido. Their staff were friendly. And yes, they even allowed us to take a shower (post-tour) even after we've checked out. The location is about a 5-minute ride to the Corong-corong port. No regrets with our choice.

Budget friendly, and it's a nice and clean place to stay”
Great service, clean place. No problem with water and their bathroom is nice. It's near the van and bus terminal, just need to walk for less than 5mins. But it's also near the power plant station so you will always hear the loud sound coming from it. Signal is bad for globe network.

Excellent”
Its a great place to stay for a budget hotel. The rooms were so nice, the toilet, the bed, everything was kept clean. The staffs were very accommodating, they gave us tips on the places to visit, the best way to go around and they assisted as we rent a ride to go around. The breakfast food included in the room is good, rice meal with hot/cold beverage and fruit. You just have to pass thru an alley to get to the property which was quite sketchy for me when we first pass thru it. Overall its a nice budget hotel to stay.

Exceptional”
Aleston Secret Hotel is a good place. Located near downtown El Nido and the City Terminal to PPS. But it is a 15-20 mins walk to El Nido Proper if you are going to walk and you can take tricycle as well. Staff are accomodating. The rooms are ok. Hot and cold shower is available.

Stay as a group”
The highlight of the stay was the staff, they are very accommodating and friendly, also the location it is at the middle of everything. Downside the water pressure it is not strong as in the amount of water in the shower would take you 3 times the usual time for you to finish a quick shower.

Good budget hotel”
PROS: 1. The caretaker is very nice and accommodating. Booked our tours through the hotel and they gave us discounts plus they referred us to a good tour company. 2. The room and facilities are clean. 3. There is a clothes drying area which is very convenient 4. The room is big 5. You can make coffee anytime (instant coffee) CONS: 1. Pathway is not paved and there is a construction near the hotel 2. No sufficient hot water for shower. Water pressure is low so it is hard to use the shower.

The owners were SO nice and helpful.”
They arranged everything for us, travel out of El Nido, yours, bike rentals, even ordered delivery for us when we were too tired to go out. Good breakfast every morning and good directions whenever we wanted to go out.

Lovely place ”
My stay at Aleston Secret was lovely, it was a basic room with a single bed and private bathroom with hot water - pretty much all I needed. There were also areas to hang your clothing dry and common areas to meet other travellers. Breakfast is provided and you also get a discount for booking transfers with them. Signal and WiFi weren’t great - but I guess that’s El Nido for you. Away from the city buzz and you can walk to Aleston Secret to town proper in about 10 min. Will stay there again!

Really friendly place, good value”
I booked this hotel for 1 night and end up staying 5 nights there :) Hotel is located just at the beginning of Corong Corong beach with a short walk to the beach and some 20min walk to the town centre. I stayed in a single room for a very reasonable price in already expensive El Nido. Room was very clean with hot water and good water preasure in shower. Owner of the hotel is Italian Antonio and manager is French Ben so they know what an average europian backpacker needs. They create a possitive familly atmosfere in the common area used for breakfast (delicious and included) and drinks at the evening. There is a power plant just 100 meters far from the hotel, but it is not a big deal. Your room fan makes probably the equal noise. And yes sometime the wi-fi is not stable and there may be insect on the garden, but come on, you are in Philippines and there is jungle around El Nido. That is why Palawan is so beautiful. Giving easily 10 stars.

Excellent location for those arriving from Puerto Princessa. Great staff. Amazing room.”
We arrived to El Nido at 11pm, after a 5-hour van ride from P.Princessa. It suited us perfectly that the hotel was at a 2 minutes walk from the van/bus terminal. The staff was great, they checked us in within 5 minutes; allowed us to take a shower after our island-hopping /prior to our ride back to PP. The room (upstairs, next to the stairs) is so clean. Sheets - smell wonderful. Bed - very comfortable. The room has: table+chair, bamboo/straw cabinet, AC (it can be set as a fan as well), curtains, clean bathroom, small balcony (not fully decorated, but OK if you like to step out to the fresh air). Breakfast: toast+eggs+butter+jam or rice+sausage (coffee/tea/juice). The hotel has a lovely green garden and a terrace that serves as dining space. It is very close to a power-generating station which emits constant buzzing noise (similar to that of AC). We didn’t mind much as we were exhausted and didn’t spend much time at the hotel. You get used to it quickly :) Great stay!

amazing place”
we could only stay 2 nights as they were booked out and I've never regretted not booking longer than I did after having to leave and having the let down of more expensive yet inferior accommodation extremely helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, free tea, coffee and water, excellent size room with cooking facility and strong hot water. never lost power (no small feat in El Nido). if I could give a 6 star review I would

good value for money if the water quality is appropriate”
Very helpful and caring hosts, big new room and bed, however mattress not too comfortable. New and quite big bathroom with hot shower. Decent breakfast was served every morning - one could choose between continental and Filipino style. Fresh fruits were also available. Location is a 5 min tricycles ride from el nido. Wifi only available in the breakfast area, however during our 5 days stay wifi never worked except for once for 5 mins. But the bad wifi connection is rather a problem concerning all el nido and not specifically this hotel. Also one should be aware that the hotel does not have an emergency generator in case of blackout - instead you are provided with flashlights. Unfortunately, throughout our stay the water quality was very bad. The water for showing and washing hands was brownish and had a moldy smell. The hosts were very sorry about that and told us that the bad water provision is a problem throughout the whole el nido area . All staff members were very friendly and our room was cleaned every day.
