Great location with nice rooms”

this hotel is ideal for any traveler due to its central location which makes any place in the city accessible. it's along the main road but the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. their housekeeping and restaurant staff give "service with a smile", and even their airport shuttle service are friendly and efficient. i highly recommend staying here because you get 5 star service but pay only 3 star rates. i will make this my hotel of choice whenever i am in puerto princesa, palawan.

Friendly staff”

Only 5 minutes away from airport! Hotel located at 2nd & 3rd floor, they provide free pick up service from & to airport, it's great, because no taxi service in Puerto Princesa! Guest can easily find an tour agent on 1st floor & all staff here are so friendly, fast service and very polite! Location is great, all good café, restaurant are within walking distance! And a mini night market shopping also within 2 minutes walking distance. Hotel staff also introduce us few restaurants & shopping. Only the Wifi service is no good enough. If we come back again to Puerto Princesa, I will stay in the same hotel!

LOCATION WITH A SMILE”

this is my second time to stay in this hotel, this time just my wife and myself. we just wanted to laze around and rest and the hotel gave us that opportunity. it is along the main road that will easily access 3 of the best rated restaurants in Puerto Princesa and so conveniently located to access all the banks, church, convenience stores, drug store and lechon stands right in front,even a shopping mall (NCCC) a block away. unless i come in big group, i would always think of Empire Suite first.

Great location, but noisy”

we booked empire suites as a stopgap measure as we only intended to stay the night in puerto princesa to catch our flight back home. the rooms are pretty modern (and lacking in character) with amenities you'd find at a decent hotel. wifi worked intermittently, and the breakfast provided was basic. free airport shuttle provided in the hotel's mini-van was a nice touch. located on rizal avenue, the hotel's within walking distance of bars and restaurants and is just a short 3 minute ride from the airport. this location is both a blessing and a curse, it's noisy at night and you can hear the live singing at bars. all rooms face the road so there are no quiet rooms. when flights start running you can also distinctly hear airplanes taking off and landing.

Convenient location”

empire suites is located on the main road and is withing walking distance to most of the good restaurants, and convenience stores, etc. the staff is very friendly and very professional. they helped us plan our tours, recommended great restaurants, and were very accomodating. especially when we had complained about the super loud noise coming from the bar across the street which can be heard from our room (make sure to book rooms at the back of the hotel!). they offered to fix up a new room for us right away. hotel also offers free airport transfers, which is wonderful. wifi however did not work while we were there. and it would have been nice to have a blowdryer in the bathroom. but overall i would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent”

My reservation was turmoil due to AGODA Agency which never had a "human voice" on the phone around to discuss my problems. Even though my reservations were canceled the staff at Empire Suites provided my family and my other party of older children with accomodations for our entire enjoyable stay. Surely this fine hotel has been paid but the AGODA Agency still owes me $200.00 which I hope to see shortly or class action suit will be filed for non-payment and false advertisement in original reservations. The Empire Suites is very close to many restaurants, massage offices, local grocery stores, SM market, and local Bar Clubs for entertainment. Greta time was enjoyed by all in our p[arty.

Very nice hotel, great staff”

I had a very wonderful time at Empire Suites. Airport pick up was free with very good welcoming staff. Pick up vehicles are new and clean. The hotel is new, very clean, sheets and towels smelling so fresh. The rooms are clean. Hot and cold shower. Complimentary coffee, bathroom accessories, free breakfast. Tours and transportation arrangements. The staff go all the way to meet your requests. Everything I expected, they delivered so well. It is truly worth the price. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, clean hotel, very kind staff”

Fantastic... this was a great value, and I can't imagine how much better you could really do in Puerto Princesa. Super close to the airport, walking distance from the best bar, and the best restaurant in the city. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and modern if basic. It's not staying at the J.W. Marriot but let's face it, if you require that kind of hotel you really have no business to be in Puerto Princesa anyway.

Good choice for location and airport transfer”

Recommended. Empire suites lobby is on the 3rd floor of the building. It's open and clean, design wise, with spacious room. Pros:   -Airport shuttle included - just add note of flight #, arrival time, their van will pick up. Keep their number as backup if you arrive early, as in our case. -Front desk service is quite good. -Clean modern looking hotel. -Welcome juice drink was a nice touch. -Room phone limited to internal use, but lobby phone permitted for area calls. Lost power but generators kicked in, so everything in room still worked.     Cons:   Wifi slow, but stable, ok for basic web browsing.

Comfortable stay in the heart of Puerto Princesa”

My stay at Empire Suites was fabulous! Complimentary drinks on arrival. Spacious room. Good range of tv channels. Breakfast range could be improved. Staff were very helpful. Great location, walking distance from amenities. Safe for solo travellers. However, my flight from Manila to PP was changed to an earlier time meaning I did not make use of the free airport transfers as I was not able to contact the hotel to inform them of my earlier arrival. No contact number given when booking. Had to take a tricycle from airport to hotel.

Great Hotel at the Heart for Puerto P.”

We only stayed there for 1 night but we were very happy. First, the location was right at the center of Puerto Princesa, which made going to places convenient. Second, the place was very clean and it looked great. Third, they have 24 hours front desk service and their staff were really professional and kind. Fourth, the WIFI was fast and it reached the rooms. Lastly, they provided towels, dental kits, soap bars and shampoo bottles, which are usually not provided by hotels some hotels within their range.

Great Stay, Internet Issues”

We loved the room and the hotel, but we could not receive an internet signal in our room. The lobby was right next to our room so it wasn't difficult to go and download a book in the lobby, it was just a little frustrating. The buffet breakfast was not worth it. All and all, we would definitely stay at the Empire Suites Hotel again.

Accessible, Spacious and Clean”

Me and my family stayed here last Nov. 1-4, 2018. We were accommodated in a room near the reception area. The hotel is strategically located within the City proper near the airport, SM Puerto Princesa and local restaurants like Ka Lui. They served buffet style breakfast which my brother loved and the hotel staff are very accommodating. They even helped us book a reservation at Kalui Restaurant.

Best city location!”

We love the location of this hotel. It was in the heart of Puerto Princesa city, right smack in the middle of Rizal avenue where you can walk up and down the street to go to famous food spots and bars. Only bad thing about being close to bars is the loud music until 2am. I guess we were just so tired at night after all our tours that we fell asleep despite the noise and loud music. Make sure to request for a room at the back of the hotel.

Classy , modern design , new build , town centre”

First visit to Palawan so keen to see town and beaches . Small neat town with nice restaurants and selection of shops with Empire Suites being right in the centre of town . About an hour ride by moto-taxi to the sea port where you can hire ferry boat to visit Honda Bay and the small islands to swim.

New hotel in downtown”

You cannot go wrong with this hotel as its located in downtown Puerto Princesa surrounded by many nice restaurants, rooms are clean and spacious, and services are great. The price may be on the high end but you will not regret it if you are used to staying in 4-5 star hotels.

Great Location”

We stayed at empire suites during a 3 night stay in palawan. This hotel has the easiest check-in check-out system ever, you also get welcome drinks and complimentary cashews in your room. We didn't try any of the food available at the hotel as we spent our whole time on tours where we would get picked up early morning with lunch provided etc. but the location of the hotel is great. It is just across the road from the famous Tiki Bar - a must try and a quick walk to a restaurant called Kinabuchs (referred to us by tour guide) and the hotel is also located on the same streets as the normal fast food stores like shakeys, dunkin donuts, mcdonalds, jollibee and mang inasal. Overall our stay at empire suites was great!

fabulous hotel”

our experience at the empire suites is very relaxing. the room was cozy and we were comfortable with it . there is also free wifi in the room and the bed is very soft. the food in the hotel restaurant is great as well. it has a great location since it is in the heart of city proper. bathrooms were clean with good water supply. my family was really satisfied with our stay there.

Great Location”

empire suites is one of the newer hotels in puerto princesa. it is near the airport and just nearby are convenient stores, restaurants and fast food chains that open till late in the evening. staff are friendly and helpful. you get value for your money. take note that opposite the hotel is a bar and at night, music can be loud. try to get a room that is not facing the main road where the bar is located.

Modern, Clean and Conveniently Located ”

Loved our stay at the Empire suites. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many places to eat. Our room was spacious and our bathroom was impeccably clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked about tours around the area. I would definitely stay here again. The wifi was the only downside, as it never worked in our room.
